HIGHLY RECOMMENDED... A beautiful in a scenic and peaceful setting

We stayed at this apartment for 3 days and truly enjoyed it immensely. Not only was the area itself so beautiful and serene, but the apartment was a calm and cozy experience in every way. We found the place to be immaculately clean and the dear Mrs Grimm to be extremely sweet and helpful. She not only walked us through the apartment showing us everything but also helped out with our laundry. It really was home away from home, with all necessary appliances, utensils, bedding, towels and all. The rooms were very spacious. Our kids enjoyed the water beds. The friendly adorable pet animals outside were a special treat.

We found this place at reasonable rate and drove to nearby sites and activities at St Beatus Caves & Interlaken area (an hour away). The grocery stores Co-op and Migros were nearby too, so we easily got our breads etc.

We would definitely recommend this place to our friends and family. It's perfect place to enjoy and relax with your family. We would love to go again one day........

A great secluded home not far from Bern, Lucerne, and Interlaken

My wife, twin ten-year old girls, and I stayed here for three nights in June. Though it was a little difficult to find, it was a wonderfully spacious home that truly made you feel like a Swiss citizen. Sheep with bells graze outside your window and Tim, the cat, loves to visit. Marianne was a great host who even left some yummy toblerones out for us upon arrival. Best of all, the home is within an hour of Bern, Lucerne (a truly beautiful city), and Interlaken, which are all fabulous places to drive to and around. This is a great way to avoid paying ridiculous hotel prices and enjoy the rural life in Switzerland while still staying close to civilization.

A lovely spacious property in a peaceful location

Our stay at this apartment in Signau was wonderful. The owners Marianne and Thomas greeted us very warmly upon our arrival and couldn't of been more friendly and helpful. The setting was very peaceful, with views over the grass fields from the outside terrace. The apartment was very clean throughout and spacious too, with good size bedrooms and lounge/dining area. It was also very well equipped. We really enjoyed coming back after a day of hiking and sitting out on the terrace enjoying the views. Very relaxing. We loved our stay in Switzerland and would very much like to return. I would recommend anyone to stay at this apartment. We are a family of four and our kids loved it.

Top House in Steinen-Signau

A very pleasant house. In a beautiful tranquil setting. Superb views. The house is spacious, large bedrooms with good beds. A well-equipped kitchen. Here you can unwind and enjoy the real hospitable Switzerland. The house is located directly on the popular cycling routes, so you can get on and do it. Top house.

Montagnola, Switzerland

A peaceful home away from home!

We had such a wonderful stay on the lower level of this beautiful wooden Swiss house! All five of us (two adult couples, one newborn) slept soundly on the water beds, appreciated the heated seat in the corner of the living room, the beautiful woodwork and curtains, the full kitchen, and the warmth of the entire place. The little village is charming and it felt like we were coming "home" each night even in the middle of winter. If you are looking for affordable accommodations with a gracious host (thank you Marianne!), and just a large, ornate, clean living space, look no further!
