Our spacious town house is the largest of only six houses in a small development in a quiet residential area. It is about 15 to 20 minutes level walk to the harbour and beaches in one direction and the main town in the other direction. The house has AIR CONDITIONING THROUGHOUT. Also CEILING FANS THROUGHOUT and all windows are fitted with FLYSCREENS. The kitchen is fully equipped . The lounge has broadband internet and internet TV, DVD and mini hi-fi.There is a downstairs WC with sink. Upstairs are two LARGE bedrooms, one with a 5' double bed, one with twin 3' beds. Each bedroom has a private balcony with table and chairs and fitted wardrobes, blinds and curtains. There is a roomy bathroom with bath, shower, basin, heated handrail (if required) and WC. There are large, private patio areas at the front and rear of the house and a private garden at the side and rear. This is planted with Mediterranean climbers and a palm tree. The (shared) swimming pool is immediately to the front of the house.
Fly Screens: The house now has fly screens fitted to all windows and patio doors for your extra comfort.
Bicycles: We have two mountain bikes that can be provided if requested - deposit required.
We arrived late at night. Anne had booked a taxi to meet us, and it was there with the driver as described. We spent two weeks at the town house. Spending alternate days out or around the pool that comes with the small complex. The area is nice and quiet and you are not far from any of the main bars, restaurants. That are either at the harbour or along the main road running through Paphos. But you are not in the hub of everything. That's what makes the area nice and quiet. Stevies taxis were always on hand to take us here and there, and the office is just a round the corner from the town house. The are supermarkets close at hand for all your needs. Or small kiosk shops near to. That also have a range of goods. We ate at the house twice, brought from Carfour some stakes and salad with nice large jacket potatoes. Carfour cand be found in the Kings avenue mall. With a number of other shops. The mall and other areas are with in walking distance. But in hot weather a car or could be useful, and or as we did call Stevies. Walking times stated in some reviews may not be exact. On the second week. We had the pool to ourselves. Over all a nice enjoyable time.
We had a lovely two weeks in august here! The air conditioning was the best we've ever had!! Home from home with very helpful on hand owners! Definitely will book again! Close enough to walk to some lovely restaurants.
I felt at home the minute I walked in the door; it was clean and tidy and decorated with neutral tones. On further investigation, it had everything we needed, from plenty of towels to a peeler in the kitchen! It was in a quiet neighbourhood, with friendly neighbours. Having the pool right outside the door was marvellous. Although I felt it was too cold to swim in October, it was a smashing place to sit in the sun. The house was also well situated. We walked from the house to both old Paphos and modern day Paphos. A map was provided in the house with the house marked on it which was a great help.
Walking is the best way to appreciate the area and get to know it. The owners, Anne and Roland were very friendly. Anne introduced us to a local walking group and advised us on places to eat. The Seven St. George’s restaurant was amazing, with locally sources, home cooked dishes that melted in the mouth. There was plenty to see and do on Cyprus, so much so that we cannot wait to go again!
We enjoyed a wonderful week in September in this lovely townhouse – a true home away from home. Our holiday began on a high note when the friendly owners, Anne and Roland, graciously picked us up at airport. This was greatly appreciated, as we did not rent a car during our stay, and their tour around the neighbourhood (and other tips) helped us to get our bearings.
The townhouse is well appointed and filled with lots of little extra touches, showing the owners’ genuine understanding of what someone might need to feel at home. The WIFI connection and internet TV, with a full range of British channels, worked beautifully. The pool was lovely for a relaxing dip. It has Roman steps, making it easy to get into and out of. Beach towels were also provided. The air conditioning worked like a charm. The washing machine was handy, and there is even an iron and ironing board. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a full meal at home. The house is so well-equipped that we managed very well with only carry-on luggage.
The layout of the interior is excellent, with open plan living/dining room and a good sized kitchen, two ground floor patios with ample furniture and two upper floor balconies with chairs and tables. In the morning there is nothing like having breakfast on the back patio (very private).
There is a decent-sized supermarket within a 5 minute walk and we also stopped in at a hypermarket down by the harbour, Papantonios, (across from Debenhams). There is also a large Carrefour in the Kings Ave. Mall (a ten minute walk). We walked down to the harbour on several occasions. The archaeological park by the harbour should not be missed (fantastic mosaics), but visit as early in the morning as possible, as it quickly gets hot and there is little shade. A trip to the Kykkos monastery in the Troodos mountains is also highly recommended. After a great week of sightseeing and relaxing at our ‘home-base’, Anne and Roland kindly took us back to the airport. This was really a nice gesture and is indicative of the extra attention provided by the owners. We would not hesitate to recommend this townhouse to anyone wishing a quality stay, either short or long term.
The owners Anne and Roland were extremely helpful and this town house is the best we have ever stayed in as we visit Cyprus a lot. The house has everything with excellent WIFI and UKTV and just as described in a very quiet area, but near enough to get to the beach. We would recommend this house and can't wait to go again to stay in the property. Thank you so much for a lovely holiday.
The owners, Anne and Roland, are very helpful. They would have picked us up at the airport if we hadn't booked a rental car at the airport. Upon arrival at the house Anne drove us around to show important locations (fruit market, bakery, good restaurants).
The house is very well equiped. A modern tv with DVD and CD player, good wifi, a terrace in front and at the back of the house, a washing machine, airco, 2 toilets, 2 bedrooms, all windows and sliding doors are equiped with insect screens, a swimming pool in front of the house, a private parking place, located at the end of a dead-end street, so very quiet.
For us the location was perfect: in between the old town and the touristic coast. We preferred the atmosphere of the old town which is on walking distance (about 20 minutes). Taking the stairs brings you to Muse Cafe Kitchen Bar, a very popular restaurant serving the best espresso whe could find in Cyprus (open from 9 am).
Being allowed to use the bikes we considered very positive. All in all we were quite happy that we could stay here and we will certainly choose this place when returning to Pafos.
Our house is well situated between beach/harbour and town (15 mins walk either way). An excellent local FRESH FRUITMARKET and SUPERMARKET is only 5 mins walk away. Water Park, Go-karting, horse-riding 5 mins' drive away, as well as ten-pin bowling (two local alleys). Also green bowls is available locally. Nearest taverna 5 mins walk away. Huge range of restaurants between 10/15 mins walk away with excellent local tavernas as well as international cuisine (recommendations in our welcome pack, also maps and directions). Coral Bay is 15/20 mins drive away. Wonderful archaeological sites with beautiful mosaics at the local harbour. Many other historical attractions nearby, including fascinating 'Tomb of the Kings' archaeological site, very pretty in Spring with many attractive wild flowers. Boat trips can be arranged at the harbour to visit pretty bays, including the beautiful 'Blue Lagoon', whose waters remain warm into October and beyond.

Ski: It is possible to ski in Cyprus in Winter, in the Troodos Mountains. They are just over an hour's drive away from Paphos. Something you may not have known about. Ask us for more details if you are interested.
