Porto Petro, a cosy village with fisher houses, a hotel complex and several boarding houses is located at the south east coast of Mallorca, only 4 km from the lively holiday resort Cala d'Or. In the marina of Porto Petro you will find nice bars and restaurants as well as small shops, and close by there are two small sandy bays. In a nature reserve, embedded in rocks and surrounded by hills with pine trees is the beautiful bay of Cala Mondragó (4 km) with its fine sandy beach. During the summer months there is a mini train connecting Porto Petro, Cala d'Or and Cala Mondragó.
