We enjoyed our stay very much. Really appreciated all of the info in the cabin concerning local parks, trails, etc. As well as wildlife. We enjoyed your granola Dave! Hope we have a chance to return in the future!
Cozy, rustic, well appointed cabin
Taking a hot bath on the deck was magical! This cabin is very cozy and well maintained. One FYI: the pond is not in front of the cabin. It’s in front of the owners’ lovely home, which is a short drive or a hike away. The cabin is deep in the quiet woods.
Very quiet secluded cabin in the woods. nice screened in porch and deck. The claw foot tub on the deck is amazing!!! Nice hiking trails and great pond! Refrigerator is small dorm size but enough space for getting by. Very clean. Great experience!!!
Perfect Long Weekend Getaway
My husband and I loved our stay. Very peaceful and relaxing. The pond was my favorite part. We just floated in the tubes and took in the beautiful scenery. The cottage was perfect. It had pots and pans for cooking, utensils, dishes, and dish towels. I loved not feeling like I had yo watch TV (there is a small one with lots of VCR tapes to pick from, but we just didn't want to because the mood is so natural and serene.) The tub on the deck was fantastic too. We went into town once and walked around and saw George Washington's bath tub in the springs. We haven't been this relaxed in a long time. Just an overall easygoing and wonderful experience. Thank you Mr. And Mrs. O'Brien for making your beautiful property available.
Get back to nature
We had such a good time and the O’Briens are wonderful hosts! The cabin is in on their property but tucked away so you have complete privacy. If you go in at night there might be a few challenges but we did it. Once we found the place, we dropped a gps point and just used that as reference. The cabin is built for simplicity but with enough conveniences to make it perfect. One thing to remember, don’t bring too many things that need refrigeration because the fridge is just slightly bigger than a dorm sized. The space is big enough for a family of four (2 adults/2 kids) or four adults as long as two of them are physically able to climb up a ladder to the loft. We loved it! Plenty of hot water and the outdoor tub was amazing! Very clean and functional! The AC is a window unit that will cool the entire cabin! Beds were clean and comfortable... no loss of sleep! We had decent cell service. Oh, if you plan to swim bring beach towels! Property and owners are everything I could have asked for!
Great folks, nice cabin, peaceful woods. I have already reviewed this property once...so this is my second one! Thanks
Thanks to you. And we hope you return again. Dave and Kris
