Photos and Description of this 5 bedroom holiday villa in Châteauneuf - Mas de Magniolas special offer

5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, garden, pool, sleeps 8 + baby

Charming and quiet French Mas with beautiful view to the distant sea and the Esterel hills, away from the big crowds but one can reach some of the nice back country villages (like Valbonne or Mougin) in a few minutes, the beaches for example in Mandelieu in 25 min, Cannes in 25 Min and the Airport as well as the city Nice in 30 min.

Golfers will find some of the best Championship courses of the Cote d'Azur (like the home of the French Open Cannes Mougin) in 30 min, two award winning courses Taulane and Terre Blanche in 40 - 60 min. The closest course 'La Bastide' is only 2 min away (you can see part of this course from the edge of the property). Tennis, riding and other sports are also offered in the region.

Grasse: Grasse has been a perfume town ever since the 17th century, and today as the world's perfume capital, its reputation speaks for itself. The three historic perfume manufacturers - Fragonard, Galimard and Molinard - open their doors to provide free guided tours. You will learn all about the mysteries of how a perfume is made, from the raw materials to the perfume itself, by means of distillation and enfleurage. You can then set off to discover a little known but nevertheless fascinating historic town. As you leave Place des Aires, with its arcades and Louis XV fountain, walk along the beautiful streets that are so busy and cool in the summer, packed with typical boutiques and stalls. You'll also come across gurgling fountains and picturesque squares with welcoming café terraces, vaulted passageways, freshly painted red and yellow ochre housefronts.

Cannes: Discover Cannes, the ramparts, musée de la Castre, square tower and the religious buildings. An exceptional view point over the town, port, Croisette, Iles de Lérins and over a large part of the bay of Cannes. On foot from the old town, the soul of Cannes, the Forville market and its ring of food shops (butchers, delicatessens, fishmongers bakers, wine merchants, etc.) will allow you to discover one of the aspects of a town eternally famous for its shopping. You will also enjoy the exceptional geographical location of Cannes which is ideal for short excursions to Grasse, Antibes and Nice.

Cannes has as well the advantage of being a town which can be explored entirely on foot. The hotels, historic centre and famous Croisette are all close to each other.

Discover the richness of Cannes’ culture and history with guided tours of Musée de la Castre and Musée de la Mer, Espace Miramar and la Malmaison and introduce yourself to the visual arts workshops !

Pool size is 8 x 5 m

Guestbook comments from the owner

Dear Owner,

we wanted to let you know that we have had, with our children, a wonderful stay in your Châteauneuf de Grasse mansion. Not only it filled our expectations regarding its functionalities and environment but has also exceeded them in terms of a delicious ambiance both from the inside and the outside, with a special note on the decoration, the landscaped garden, the terrace with its stunning view and of course the pool arounds which we have spent most of our time, due to a particularly agreable weather.

As we send you this message through your representative on site, Riviera First Business, we thank them as well for their availability, efficiency and kindness.

Kind Regards

Chantal & Christian L.

Holidays in Chateauneuf

  • 5 of 5

The house is a very nice house in a quiet area. It is well furnished and well decorated. The yard is just perfect for children to play around and easy safety wise.

We had a great time. If we really need to picky we would say two low points are that you always need a car although it is 5 mintues drive if you forget to buy bread or something. The second would be the pool: the edges are quite sharp and you need to be more attentive with children in order for them not to hurt themselves getting out of the pool when not taking the stairs.

But all in all it is a fabulous place to be and a very confortable house.

In addition an other big plus is Markus and his team! Very professional, welcoming and very helpful. I can only recommend the place.

Sehr angenehmer Urlaub in sehr schönem Ambiente

  • 4 of 5
