The Lahr House is a detached house in Waldstatt (Kanton Appenzell - near St Gallen) on a large plot. It offers great comfort (and garage. Parking for cars) and is ideally equipped for families with 4 to 6 people. There are three bedrooms (one with balcony), a large kitchen with all the bells and whistles and granite worktop, two bathrooms (one with washing machine), living room, utility room and cellar. You have from all rooms offers unspoilt views of the surrounding mountains. The car can be loaded and unloaded in the garage. The added bonus for small children, a cot, a highchair and a special backpack (hereby, the child can be taken on hikes) available.

Skiing, cross-country skiing, sledding, winter hiking, ice skating and many others are possible in winter. Nearby there are several ski areas.

In the summer, hiking, walking, swimming, (from the house in the outdoor pool only 50m), paragliding, cycling, golf and more are possible. With the cable cars near the summit can be easily reached. Ü.d. at 850 meters M living in their own home and enjoy with unobstructed views in all directions, the landscape and the mountains - that is provided here. There are the large garden, terrace and balcony for single occupancy are available. 50m away there is a heated outdoor pool with a playground and restaurant. The house is located about 10 km from St. Gallen with cultural activities such as historic monastery, museums, theater, gallery, art gallery, casino, cafes, restaurants, pedestrian, etc. Water sports, sailing, windsurfing and swimming are at Lake Constance (25 km) in the summer is very attractive.

Very interesting is the nearby golf course in Gonten (15 minutes by car -. 18-hole course, par 70) - 910 m above sea level, which offers interesting ways to play due to its mountain location. A paragliding school is located nearby. Also from the house can start hiking. Cycling, hiking and even a child-friendly zoo in to nearby Gossau are only a fraction of the many possibilities.

Wir waren jetzt bereits schon zweimal im Ferienhaus Lahr und werden auch im 2012 einen Aufenthalt dort planen.

Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet, gemuetlich, einfach ein Home away from Home fuer jeden, der gerne das Appenzell und den Kanton St Gallen erkunden moechte. Wir schaetzen besonders, dass das Haus ruhig gelegen ist und man doch verkehrsmaessig schnell ueberall hinkommt.

Instead of forest (about 1550 inhabitants) is located in the center of the triangle Herisau, Hundwil, Schwellbrunn and mostly on the southern slope. This great southern exposure is comparable to the equally sunny villages Rehetobel and depth. There are a few minutes walk from a heated outdoor pool. A lot of nice restaurants are available in the village. Nearby there are several ski resorts. In the summer, golf, paragliding, hiking, walking, swimming (in swimming pool from the house 100m) and cycling are possible. With the cable car near the summit can be easily reached. Ü.d. to 850 meters M live in their own home and with unobstructed views in all directions, enjoy the scenery and the mountains that can be realized in the woods instead of in Lahr House.

Information regarding the equipment The entire house has been fully restored 2009/2010. Accordingly, the condition is excellent. There are a lot of feel-good factor. Comfort and cleanliness are the greatest commandment. Satellite TV, DVD, washing machine, luxury kitchen, comfortable furnishings provide pleasant atmosphere in the house. The large property with garden and terrace for private use offer a lot of rest. Guests should be salvaged and housed dignified feel to spend a relaxing holiday. The garage has direct access to the living area. On the property there is additional parking.
