Spacious 3rd floor modern apartments In old character building in the centre of Antibes old town. A studio apartment of 36 m2 with sunset facing 3rd floor window facing distant hills and quiet back street. An apartment of 100m2 with two double bedrooms with air conditioning.

Immediate access to the vibrant daily provincial market (fresh vegetables, flowers, fish...) with many cafes, restaurants and the ancient citadel walls of the romantic old town.

New modern kitchens equipped with dishwashers & washing machines.

New modern bright bathrooms with large showers.

200m walk from the beach, 50m from the old town sea wall with its dramatic sea views through to the Alps and the Cap d'Antibes.

Excellent walks around Antibes old town, the largest yacht marina in the Med (frequented by Roman Abramovich's vessels and other billionaires), the Fort Carré and the Cap d'Antibes.

50m from the Picasso Museum in the Grimaldi mansion.

Extracts from our printed guide leaflet: There is a lot to do and see in Antibes for a short visit so that a hire car is not really necessary. The train also provides an easy way to explore other places along the coast. East to Biot, Cagnes, Nice, Villefranche, Beaulieu, Eze, Monaco, Menton and Ventimiglia. West to Juan Les Pins, Cannes and Grasse. A car is only required if you want to explore inland, especially the famous old “perched” villages. The Picasso museum in the sea facing Grimaldi Chateau is just the other side of the old town ramparts 50m from the apartment. Picasso lived and worked in the Chateau for a period when he was into Ceramics. The museum has an excellent terrace looking out to sea.

There are often spectacular views of the Maritime Alpes beyond Nice in the morning from the sea wall by the Cathedral and Museum.

There are many of the worlds largest motor yachts in the marina (the biggest pleasure marina in the Mediterranean). Golfers have a choice of more than 15 courses within a 20-km radius.

Other beaches and coastal walk: The other side of the Cap d'Antibes has some beaches too. If one side of the Cap is breezy and rough the other is usually calm and clear. Also, “Juan Les Pins” (where apparently Brigitte Bardot wore the first bikini in the 50s), which is effectively connected to Antibes but is on other side of the Cap has long sandy beaches.

There is a spectacular coastal walk around the end of the Cap that can be reached from the parking at Plages de la Garoupe. In season there is a bus service.

Restaurants: There are tens of excellent restaurants within a few minutes walk of the apartment, and several just seconds away. Just a few doors up the road from the apartment are excellent little restaurants, such as Le Comptoir and Le Tour Ancienne. The chefs are amazing and match many Michelin starred restaurants for quality and presentation at a fraction of the cost. 'La Taverne du Safranier' in the hidden away square in the Safranier quarter a few minutes walk down pretty little streets. 'Les Vieux Murs' by the sea wall 50m from the apartment for open air dining with a view. A bit pricey but a wonderful treat. Local favourite Brulot's is busy, great value and surprisingly good with some excellent Provence specialities on the menu as well as pasta and pizza. The restaurant stays open very late and will often be serving food well past 11pm. 'Vauban' in Rue Thuret offers superb quality food with amazingly good value fixed priced menus.

This apartment is 'studio' in format ie. the bed in the main living space The apartment entrance is directly opposite the main apartment which is separately available for rental, accommodating a further 4 guests in two double bedrooms.

Wonderful Antibes

We stayed two weeks in Aug 2009 at this perfectly situated appartment. We did not have a car and central Antibes is the perfect starting point for visiting the whole Côte d'Azur by train and bus. There are lots of things to do and see in and around Antibes and the riviera and lots of good restaurants. We found the description of the place accurate, the guide provided by the owner was very helpful, the local contact person very kind, the place was clean and perfect for a romantic summer holiday for two :). As "first time renters" we were also pleased to find out that paying end receiving e.g. deposit was no problem.

nicely renovated, nice bathroom, clean, very central location right at the main market of the old town. Manager Conny is a real sweetheart .


- kitchen is almost empty: i.e. there were exactly four knifes and forks and three regular dining plates (but a full-size dish washer), few glasses of different shapes, the fridge was very weak, the freezer door broken, there was no tray for ice cubes, no espresso machine (but espresso cups)

- mattress short and thin, we found the bed very uncomfortable

- room is hard to cool down – due to the garbage trucks that come every night to empty the 3 containers right under the window and due to cruising mopeds (special parking for mopeds also next to the building) it’s quite impossible to leave the window open at night time

- Wi-Fi was very unreliable, only worked (sometimes) if you stood next to the entrance door, connection was uselessly slow, we could hardly check simple emails (finally we bought an access for our mobile phones)

Great stay

Everything with the apartment was great. The location in the middle of the old town was a perfect spot near nice restaurants, the market, shops and the beaches not far away. One thing that wasn't working perfectly was the wifi due to the location of the router. The manager was really helpful and if we would come back to Antibes we would definitely rent this apartment again!

Beautiful studio in a perfect location!

This is a beautiful, spacious and clean studio with a perfect view. The location is ideal, only a stones throw from the stunning beaches of Antibes and a walk-able distance from other lively destinations such as Juan les Pins. With great public transport links and plenty of bars and restaurants on the door step this studio is a wonderful place and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Very helpful and welcoming landlords, the photos and description were accurate and i was very impressed upon arrival. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Antibes Studio

Had a lovely week in this apartment in late October. Everything we needed was supplied. The place was clean and nicely laid out. Location was excellent, adjacent to the Marche Provencial. Owner was quick to supply any information regarding rental. Conny, the local contac,t was very helpful, and a pleasure to meet. The only issue we had was unreliable internet access, which has probably already been addressed. We would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone with no mobility problems (three flights of stairs up).

Antibes Studio

We really enjoyed our stay at this well equipped and very centrally situated studio. An especial bonus was our contact with the manager who was extremely helpful to us.

We enjoyed the Marche Provençal, the Old Town, the beaches and the museums, all of which we walked to.

The apartment looks out onto a quite residential street in the heart of the old town of Antibes with its many restaurants, bars and cafes. Ideally located within 20mins of Nice airport and in between Cannes and Monaco both of which are easily accessed by fast and cheap coastal train service. Also many other stunning locations to visit just minutes away by train such as Biot, Villefranche, Nice old town, Menton, Ventimiglia, Grasse, Mandelieu, La Napoule, Juan Les Pins, etc. A short drive in from the coast there are many beautiful 'perched' villages such as Mougins, St Paul, Eze, La Turbie, Gourdon. Many top quality golf courses are within a 20 minute drive.

The extensive ski resorts of Isola 2000 and Auron (many red and black runs for the more experienced) are just an hour and a half drive into the Alps allowing a morning on the slopes and afternoon on the beach. Please request a map showing the exact location of the apartment and a written guide to Antibes old town and nearby place
