|Minimum Stay||7 nights|
Total relaxation is on offer in this wonderfully located villa with stunning views across the bay. Soak up the tranquil atmosphere under the large Caribbean parasol by the mineral pool or lie on the double hammock in the shade of the palm trees. There are a choice of numerous terraces with seating and tables for outdoor dining on the back, front and pool terraces. With a barbecue on the back terrace and a herb garden, where we grow a wide range of Mediterranean and Asian herbs, you will be dining in 7th Heaven!
But don´t forget to go to the beach as well, it´s only a 15 min walk.
7th Heaven, a fantastic Villa that is certainly deserving of its name!. On arrival, we were greeted by its friendly owners, Ollie and Lyndsey, who had kindly well stocked the property with some lovely provisions to start our holiday off. After giving us a quick tour, they left us to our own devices and we immediately settled into our new holiday home. Situated on a (not too steeply inclined) hill and about 200M from the sea, the Villa sits on a private and not overlooked plot at the end of a winding residential road and is a only few minutes by car from the main road leading into Altea's centre. The Town has a great selection of Restaurants and bars and at the same time being both cosmopolitan but not too Touristy. The Villas upper living area and and poolside patios have simply amazing views overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, where my Wife and I spent every evening having a drink and not wishing for our all too brief 7 day stay to come to an end!. The mineral water swimming pool meant that after a long day playing in it, our two children (aged thirteen & nine) left it refreshed with no stinging eyes from any Chlorine. The living accommodation was spacious, stylishly decorated and spotlessly clean. Any downsides?, I cant think of any, except that due its split level design it may not be suitable for people who have difficulty climbing stairs. However, this is pretty self explanatory on the properties description. A perfect stay and we look forward to going back there in the very near future, thank you once again Ollie and Lyndsey!
A great rental!
Communication with the owners was friendly, welcoming, professional and helpful, booking was easy.
Inside the villa was spotless, comfortable, charming, spacious and well equipped. The owners left a fantastic welcome pack of food and drink. This made a huge difference to us especially as non-drivers (which we mentioned to the owners and they made sure we had plenty of drinks, to save us carrying heavy stuff back from the local supermarket). They also left an abundance of other food and drink - much appreciated and really helpful. The kitchen has all you need and the herb garden was a bonus! The owners’ individuality can be seen in the interesting artwork, furniture and sculptures in and around the villa. The apple TV was handy – lots of major channels/many languages.
There are several cosy outside spots to sit and relax and enjoy the amazing views, and each vantage point has its own charm, with attractive furniture, lanterns, lights, plants and flowers to be enjoyed. The garden really gives off the tropical, holiday feel you need to relax and forget all your worries! The pool is nice, gets the sun and has great views. The nearby bathroom area is also handy.
Altea is a nice spot, esp the old town with its cobbled streets and hilltop church (worth the climb), and squares full of loads of places to eat and drink. You can get to the old town on the tram from Olla Altea, which is about 10 minutes walk from the villa, although quite hilly and best done in cooler hours. There are other local towns that can be reached on public transport from the same tram stop (Calpe, Denia) and no doubt lots more options if you drive. But you can easily spend a week relaxing by the pool!
This was a great rental and highly recommended. The owners are really nice, relaxed, welcoming and laid back and they were fun to chat to as we checked in and out. Otherwise they leave you to enjoy your holiday, but you know they'd be happy to answer any questions and help you out if you need anything or wanted local advice. They even called up the taxi firms to make sure we made our connections to the airport (after one taxi firm lost the booking we'd made the night before!) We did make the flight in the end thanks to their help! :-)
A really nice couple with a lovely villa and the best views – whether you want to explore the area or just away from it all, you won’t regret a stay at the 7th heaven! Thanks Ollie and Lindsay and hope to see you again!
My wife and I have returned last weekend from two weeks in this wonderful villa. We were looking for somewhere to totally chill out and relax without much noise or any interruptions and the villa completely meet that requirement. The villa was just as advertised in fact I’d say it was under sold on the web site. It was clean and well maintained had everything we needed for our stay and more besides. We were met on our arrival by Ollie and Lindsay who were the most perfect host very friendly and welcoming and very helpful but at the same time not overpowering. They made it plain that if we needed any help with anything we were to ask and we did have a couple of very minor issues, which they sorted quickly and without any inconvenience to our holiday.
We had never been to Altea before and was very pleasantly surprised with the area. Not over touristy but full of Spanish culture and we certainly intend to go back. Given the time of year late September, early October we felt the weather was far better than we expected and this helped some very hot days.
I would definitely recommend this villa and the welcoming owners

Wow!!! Such a lovely stay. Very peaceful, very beautiful. We loved the pool and panoramic views. Lindsay and Ollie were very welcoming, loved their very special home, and we didn't want to leave😊. Managed well without a car, used the tram, just ten minutes walk, mand could access other resorts easily. Can't wait to book again. Thanks Ollie and Lindsay, see you soon.
Thus was a return visit. We stayed here 2 years ago and thought it was superb then, this visit it was even better with improvements being made, and little upgrades here and there.
We appreciate the quality.of the furnishings, the generosity of Ollie & Lyndsey and of course those wonderful views.
Our favourite spot was the rear terrace with the now lush covering of Jasmine over the pergola,, with it's dappled shade, beautiful views and intoxicating smells, it really lives up to its name.
This is a charming villa with amazing views from all terraces and the pool area. The villa is very well equipped, well maintained and clean. The bedrooms are spacious and the huge bed in the master bedroom is so comfortable. The terraced gardens are lovely - there were even bananas on the trees when we were there which we enjoyed eating on our way home! The pool is a really generous size and was in sun right through the day until at least 7pm in August. There is a really handy shower room with a toilet and fridge freezer by the pool.
All terraces and the pool are completely private. There is a huge table on the back terrace (which still has a great sea view) with a bbq. There are a lot of steps around the villa so may not be suitable for very young children. You really do need a car to get around. The tram station would have been no problem to walk to on our own but with 2 children in the heat we just drove down to it and parked there. We used the tram to get to Altea and Benidorm as we are not that confident driving on the right and we found parking in Altea quite difficult. It is a shame that the trams didn't run after about 9pm as it would have been nice to have a drink/meal in Altea and not worry about driving home. Having said that, we were happy sitting on the front terrace enjoying a drink with the beautiful views in the eve.
Ollie and Lindsay were the perfect hosts, giving us all the info we required. We had some lovely cheese, meat, local honey, bbq coals amongst other things ready when we got there.
We arrived on the night of the firework festival and they were amazing - we had the best seats in the house from the front terrace!
All in all, this is a fabulous villa, away from the crowds, completely private with amazing views. Thank you Ollie and Lindsay for a wonderful holiday.
The ancient Arabs named this place Altaya, which meant 'Health for all', referring to the extra mild micro climate. Today, Altea is still a working fishing town, often called 'the pearl of Costa Blanca' because of the churches´ blue domes witch overlook the old centre. Meander through the narrow cobbled streets of the historic city, hosting many galleries and a lot of street cafes and MIchelin star restaurants. Altea has managed to remain untouched by large discotheques and loud night life, though you can find all of this within 20 km. The Bernia mountains are less than a 15 minute drive away, offering a range of destinations to hike, bike and explore.
Other Activities: Jetski, Kitesurfing
Golf: The golf resort Don Cayo is about 2 km away. Several other golf courses are within a 30 minute drive.
Ski: There is a waterski lift in Benidorm.
