Andrew & Nicola,
A note to say thanks for a brilliant (last) week.
The accommodation was great, the location immaculate, and the views stunning. Not sure how you organised the superb weather ?…but organisation and arrangements were painless..and stay very enjoyable. An excellent location, 'out of town' but close enough for convenience. Being able to bring the dog made it even more pleasant and stress free.
So thanks again and we hope to re-visit asap.

My partner and I recently stayed at Woodcombe and had a fantastic time.
Discription was accurate and excellent directions and full details of our stay were provided in advance.
We received a very warm welcome upon arrival. The owner showed us around the property and advised us of everything we needed to know.
They were also able to provide lots of information on the local area and suggested different things for us to go and see/do.
The property provided was very clean and was everything we needed for our stay.
Would highly recommend.
My fiancee and I stayed in the Holly Lodge with 6 other friends to celebrate a 30th birthday.
We were most impressed with the cleanliness and comforts of the lodge. The kitchen area is large and has excellent facilities, we enjoyed a cooked breakfast both mornings!
We were lucky enough to secure the bedroom with the en-suite bathroom, but there are two other bathrooms for the other lodge residents so they weren't too jealous.
Even if the weather is not kind to you (luckily we had a dry weekend), there is plenty to do with a radio, television and board games supplied (we enjoyed a late night game of HeadBandz despite it being aimed at 5-10 year olds!)
The surrounding area is beautiful and there are many small, rural villages to explore and enjoy. Highly recommended.
Very Very Nice Holiday
Everything Was Clean & Well Presented.
We Were Made To Feel Very Welcome & Well Looked After.
The Grounds Are Beautiful & The Views Are Perfect.
We Would Highly Recommend Woodcombe Lodges To Anyone Looking For A Perfect Holiday In Peaceful & Beautiful Enviroment.
Also Perfectly Situated For Everything This Great Part Of The Country Has To Offer. We Will Be Back. A++
My husband, dog and I stayed at Pine Tree Lodge recently. Excellent is all I can say.....
The place was outanding and all it was promised to be. The lodge was beautiful and had everything you needed. It was very clean and cosy.
We received a warm welcome and was given loads of advice on the lodge and the surrounding area.
We were very private which suited us down to the ground, we had an outstanding view come rain or shine from our veranda and Jack (the dog) enjoyed the whole experience too including all the wildlife seen in the distance and the frequent birds that visited us.
If your reading this you must be thinking of booking a holiday there, you will not be disappointed!! We highly recommend Woodcombe lodges for a holiday and will be returning in the future.
Perfect location with splended views. The children loved the grassed open areas with super games room. The lodge was well equipped, clean and comfortable for all the family including the one year old.
We had a fantastic residential at woodcombe lodge. The owners were friendly and welcoming and the grounds and facilities were beautifully kept. Having a group of students with complex needs and specialist wheelchairs can prove difficult to find suitable accomodation. we stayed in Laburnham lodge which proved to be an excellent lodge, the doorways were wide enough for our students in large wheelchairs to be moved around freely, the wet room was also spacious and easily accessable, also the beds were comfortable with ample space below to recieve the base of our hoist this enabled staff to hoist students ino bed safely and comfortably.
The town of Minehead with it's shops and restaurants and beach beyond are within a twenty minute walk through the local parks or a five minute drive. The West Somerset Steam railway is based in Minehead which also has it's own golf course together with the Butlins holiday park where you take your children for day visits if you wish. The medieval village of Dunster together with it's castle is about 3 miles away and the delightful North Devon Coast and the Exmoor National Park with it's fabulous scenery, beauty spots, local villages and pubs stretch west from the property.
Set on a small lane on the western edge of Minehead formed from a wing of Woodcombe Lodge and bordered by the Exmoor National Park set in 3 acres of gardens with fabulous views over the wooded slopes of Exmoor and down to the sea.
