Nice made easy
We stayed at this apartment in September this year and found it to be as advertised meeting all our requirements with a fantastic Art Deco lift. The apartment was ideally placed for travelling around the area to Antibes and Menton for example by train as the station was a short walk away. The buses were good as well for getting to places like Vence and other areas of Nice. Walking about from the apartment was great as the old town and the beach were all readily available. There were some great food markets close by and a brilliant bakers just downstairs, all in all a very good place to stay and an ideal location.
The owner and her agent were both very helpful and punctual with all responses, so enabling us to have a stress free holiday, thank you. We would stay again if we returned to Nice and recommend to friends and family.

We had a very nice stay at Penny's apartment. Penny was very responsive and easy to work with. Definitely appreciated having brochures/maps in the apartment, both regarding things to do in the area and instructions on how to use the appliances. As others have mentioned it is about a 15 minute walk to the beach and less than 10 minutes to the train and tram. We felt very safe in the area and the apartment is very centrally located. Once we figured out how the tram worked we used it a lot to travel to Old Nice; we also used the train daily to explore the beautiful Riviera towns. The apartment was a nice size (especially compared to the Paris apartment we stayed at) and definitely appreciated the handsink in the toilet room; shower room was nice size too and the clothes machine worked great . Although we did not cook, the kitchen was well stocked and equipped with up-to-date appliances. Overall we had a very pleasant stay, my only complaint, which definitely is no fault of Penny's and of course is subjective, is that the traffic noise did make it hard to enjoy the front balcony or leave the front window open. Bedrooms, which are located in the rear, were very quiet and comfortable. It definitely was nice to return to the apartment after a long day of sightseeing and have a relaxing place to stay. Would definitely recommend.
Fantastic stay st this lovely apartment in a very French area close to the sea the shops delis markets and the station. Visited Menton and the perched village of Carros and Biot all by public transport.
The apartment was very clean modern with Art Deco style features and well designed with some nice touches and felt like home. Will certainly recommend
We really enjoyed our stay in your apartment.
A 20 minute stroll down to the old town and 5 minutes from the railway station.
The bakery underneath, supermarket across the road and restaurant on the corner were extremely handy.
Very traditional apartment that sleeps 4 comfortably.
Thanks to Sam for meeting us promptly.
Thanks again Penny
Great location. Walking distance to the beach. Beautiful apartment. Nicest bathroom in France
My family and I had a wonderful stay in Nice at Penny's apartment. Penny was great to work with and responded extremely quickly to all of my questions. I can't say enough good things about the apartment and the location. The design of the apartment was so well laid out with a balcony for two on the front overlooking the lively blvd Gambetta (great for catching the sun while drinking a glass of wine or a cup of coffee) while keeping the bedrooms in the back for a completely quite sleeping experience (and a second balcony overlooking the private backyard as well). All of the amenities appeared to be recently updated and worked very well (the central air conditioning was excellent) and after hauling our luggage up and down 4 flights of stairs in Paris we were so pleased to find an elevator waiting to take it all up for us!
The location was also perfect for us. It was only a five minute walk to the Prom. des Anglais and the same to the train station, which was perfect since some days we just walked to the beach and others we took the train to nearby Antibes. If we wanted to go to the old town it was either an additional 10 minute walk along the sea or a short ride on the tram stop next to the train station passing through the shopping district. Just as importantly we loved the convenience of having a small Casino grocery store right across the street and the fantastic Boulangerie Patisserie ROLFO just two doors away.
We would definitely stay here again!
The location for this apartment is superb and central. It is only 8 to10 minutes walk from the beach, the famous Promanade des Anglais. The bus (No 23 from Terminal 1, costs only 1Euro ) to and from the airport stops within 50 meters of the apartment. The direct airport bus (No99) which wizzes you to the airport in 15 minutes also stops minures away. All the local amenities including a colourful indoor market, brasseries, boulangeries and patisseries are on the doorstep. Old Nice is also a pleasant walk through pedestrianised and interesting roads. The Gare SNCF train station is 7 minutes walk making those day trips to Cannes and Monaco to mention just a few attractions so easy! No need for car hire or taxis as superb and convenient public transport links! As you are in a chic french area, also close to the beach, you have the best of both worlds. Not directly on the busy and noisy promenade, but central enough to explore all of Nice on foot.
