Super Ferienhaus in guter Lage und Betreuung
Vom 11.12. – 19.12.2015 haben wir das casaBLANCA als Abschluss unserer Rundreise in Florida gebucht. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr geschmackvoll und komfortabel eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt und es sieht genauso aus wie auf den Bildern Alles war sehr gepflegt und ordentlich. Das Ferienhaus bietet eigentlich alles was man für einen perfekten Urlaub benötigt. Die Lage des Hauses ist perfekt. Südausrichtung für den sehr schönen Pool der komplett mit einem großen Fliegengitter umgeben ist. Auf der komplett überdachten Terrasse kann man sehr gut Essen und am großen Tisch den Abend ausklingen lassen. Im Savona Parkway fahren wenig Auto´s und es ist allgemein sehr ruhig. Das Ferienhaus bietet eine gute Basis für diverse Ausflüge bspw. in Richtung Tampa, Orlando, Sanibel Island, Fort Myers etc.
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants, Ärzte befinden sich in der Nähe. Wir haben uns sehr gut betreut gefühlt. Die Kommunktion mit Frau Schweizer-Bult und Frau Zeltner (Hausverwalterin vor Ort) war stets freundlich, hilfsbereit und schnell. Wir können das Ferienhaus nur empfehlen, egal ob Pärchen oder Familien. Im nasskalten nassen Winter in Deutschland bekommen wir jetzt schon wieder fernweh…

Wir legen sehr viel Wert auf die grösstmögliche Sauberkeit mit einer gepflegten und ordentlichen Erscheinung, so wie man sich das auch von zu Hause gewohnt ist.
Selbstverständlich ist eine 100% akkurate Darstellung unserer Objekte unabdingbar. Wir gehen davon aus, dass dies eigentlich die Norm ist.
casaBLANCA liegt an der so genannten "Gold Coast" in Cape Coral. Die Lage ist hervorragend mit einer südlichen Ausrichtung der Pool Anlage und einem direkten Zugang zum Gulf of Mexico ohne Brücken oder Schleusen und einer sehr kurzen Bootsfahrzeit von 8 Minuten bis zum Caloosahatchee River. Durch unsere zentrale Lage sind auch die Strände von Cape Coral und die Kilometer langen weissen Sandstrände von Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel und Captiva in lediglich 20 Minuten über die Sanibel Bridge zu erreichen.

My husband and I just returned from a wonderful vacation in Cape Coral where casaBlanca was our awesome home for the week. We couldn't have asked for better. Clean, bright fun place with the most beautiful view as you open your patio doors that overlook patio and pool. We enjoyed our dining outdoors each day and the weather was absolutely perfect. We brought our Harley with us and rode every day knowing that we had a great home to return to after long days of traveling. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone heading to Florida. Monique was such a pleasant lady to do business with and Remy Saluz the property manager was very cool too! Great time - thank you Monique.

casaBLANCA's location indeed renders the perfect starting point for trips to all directions on a compass and of any kind, either by Harley bike, car or boat through the salt water canal system to the open waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
It fills us with happiness that you and your spouse always felt that you had a great, clean and bright home to return to after a long day of riding your Harley. Mini Vacation at Casa Blanca
My husband and I stayed in Casa Blanca for a short vacation this March. The house is wonderful and has all the amenities. It is extremely clean. The location is perfect and the backyard with the pool is beautiful. Thank you Monique! Mario the property manager is wonderful too!

"Our family of three (11 year old son) had an outstanding time at casaBlanca the last two weeks of February 2014. The house is utterly charming. Clean and modern and extremely well-appointed. You literally just have to pack a suitcase. Everything is there from a flat-iron for your hair to every kitchen tool necessary to beach towels. We loved it. When you open the sliding glass doors to the pool, it's amazing. The owner and manager were very helpful both before and during our stay. The house is ideally situated to drive into Fort Myers, South to Naples and the Everglades and North to Orlando or Daytona (my family went to the Daytona 500). It's also withing biking distance to the pier and local beach. We enjoyed it so much we've already booked some time to return in 2015. We have travelled quite extensively and were extremely pleased with the quality and service of casaBlanca. Highly recommended."

My wife and I rented casaBLANCA for three weeks. What a beautiful house and property. Everything we needed was there to make us comfortable! The house has been decorated in a charming and thoughtful way. The color pallet was so clean and refreshing. The screened-in lanai and pool offered an area for daily sunning, swimming and relaxation. We also rented the optional boat and it was a quick five minutes down the canal to the open water. Paradise! The Cape Coral location allowed easy access to greater Fort Myers and the barrier beaches. casaBLANCA is a house built in the late 60-ties. When we purchased it in 2009, the property was in a devastating condition, yet very well situated within the southern part of Cape Coral along the Gold Coast with a very quick uninterrupted access to the Caloosahatchee River without the hassle of long canal rides in idle mode nor any locks or bridges. The entirely southernly exposed screened lanai with the pool offers an all year round sunny outdoor experience with long days and warm nights for a BBQ or just a late night swim in the solar heated water.
It was delightful indeed to have you as our guests and we are very much looking forward to welcoming you again and the near future.

For the most part a wonderful stay...but
It's an older house but has been well taken care of and is nice and bright. Terrific sliding patio doors that opens up the wall to the pool area from the living room. Nice TV's in living room and master bedroom, and a great Mac computer. No shortage of cutlery and dishes. Excellent location, only about 1 mile to downtown. South facing and since it was above normal temperature during our 9 week stay, the solar heated pool was warm. Some issues with the house were quickly looked after by Monique.
Although we knew going in that the electricity was going to be charged at 20 cents/kilowatt, even though Cape Coral charges 11.75 cents/kilowatt, it can add up quickly. We were VERY frugal, as we never used the A/C, and barely used ceiling fans, never the dishwasher, and oven for only heating up pizza, one load of wash per week, and it still added up to almost $35/week, for only 2 people for the majority of the time.
The kicker was a small safe in the house. The thing was old, and the key got stuck in it, no fault of ours. Monique was aware of the issue immediately, but on checkout day, she was going to charge us $100 to replace the safe. We ended up paying $80 because the property manager felt sorry for us. I did some research after, and found out the safe was only $40 NEW. We were very disappointed as we treated the house like it was ours, and it wasn't even our fault it broke. You also have no access to the mailbox.

Prior booking the home last year, I gave you a one hour tour of the house, the location and it's surrounding. Our Special Stipulations, that you and your partner had read in all detail, initialled and signed last year indicated ALL conditions very clearly, inclusive our kWh charge. $35.00 per week is INDEED AN EXTREMELY LOW electric consumption charge. Bear in mind, the pool pump is running approximately 8 hours daily and you and your partner inclusive of your guests used the pool very often and enjoyed it very much.
During Check In the personal digital safe was fully functioning, WITHOUT inserted batteries and with a key that would easily open and close the lock, nobody before you ever had any problems with it. The personal safety deposit box was aproximately 2 years old, thus not that old. The replacement cost of the safe is $79.00 because our model has a digital lock, a key lock and a finger printing identification lock, thus it is not the simple kind of personal safety deposit box. When you break other people's belongings you have to pay for it, in full. I instructed my property manger to deduct $80.00 from your deposit, he had no authority to adjust the price downward, I decided to do so in your favour.
I personally delivered your occasional local news paper and checked the mail box twice weekly as instructed by you.
