This apartment is located, beside the Palais Stephanie hotel and in the grounds of THE GRAND HOTEL with its film star guests.Just a few meters to the many resturants, 300meters to the beach and 80 meters to the designer shops of the fashionable RUE D'ANTIBES. Ideally located to enjoy the best of CANNES. The apartment has air-conditioning, a lift, south facing balcony a fully equipped kitchen, and is in a block of ten apartments. The apartment is furnished to a high standard, is well maintained, bright and airy and very secure. There is a service charge of 180 euro for bed lInen, towels, electricity, a final clean and a person to meet you at the apartment on arrival.

There is also a security/breakage deposit to be paid in cash on arrival and returned to you BEFORE departure.

This apartment is located in literally the centre of Cannes, equidistant from the Grand Hotel (which in turn faces the beach) and the main shopping street called Rue d'Antibes. It still maintains a private feel, however, with good perception of space as it's balcony opens out onto a quiet parking area at the back of the Grand Hotel (see photo included).

Notes:
The apartment is very convenient to all amenities and is very secure in the most sought -after area in cannes. there is a cave downstairs with beach toys for children and some beach chairs. it is useful for parking your childs buggy. It is possible to take a bus to nearby ski resorts. One can take a return trip to ISOLA2000 on a daily basis. The price is 24 euro and this includes the ski pass. (good value).There are train and bus service to Nice ,Antibes,italian border etc.

Impressive Location

We stayed in Helen's apartment over Easter 2017 and had a wonderful time. The location is outstanding and is right in the centre of everything which is great when you have 3 teenagers in tow.

Helen was a delight to deal with and Valerie helped us settle in when we got there.

As the location is right in the centre, there is no need for a car and everything (including the supermarket) is all within walking distance.

The apartment was immaculate and clean and the pictures do not entirely do the apartment justice. Having a south facing balcony is a big bonus. Being able to sit and have breakfast in the sunshine is one of the great pleasures in life.

Lovely Apartment, Great Location

We stayed in Helen’s apartment in July 2014 and as it was so perfect we are again staying here this year in July. The location was ideal, a short stroll to the beach. The apartment was spacious with three generous rooms and three toilets, a full bath and two showers which were much needed after a day’s sightseeing and lounging on the beach. Everything was perfect in the apartment and had everything you needed, including beach toys/chairs, we spent many balmy nights on the terrace outside watching the world go by. Cannes is a wonderful place to holiday, everything is on your doorstep, fine restaurants, wonderful boulangeries and every shop you could wish for. We used the train often to see the many lovely towns nearby including Monaco, Nice and this year we will definitely be back and take the ferry to see San Tropez!!!

Superb apartment in wonderful location

2 adults and 3 teenagers had a great holiday in this superb apartment. The location was nestled in a safe and secure location between La Croisette and Rue d'Antibes. This setting allowed various family members head to the nearby beach, shop or just people (and Ferrari) watch on the prom.

Helen (owner) could not have been more helpful in advance by emailing and talking over phone about all the various trips, shopping and restaurants which should be visited, Valerie (facilities manager) met us on arrival and was also very helpful in getting us settled in to the wonderful surroundings.

The various beach chairs and body boards made available were most welcome as was Helens shopping trolley which was well used in the market and for transport of the wine for later consumption on the quiet south facing balcony.

The facilities were very clean and the apartment is equipped with all mod cons. The washer dryer was well used to facilitate towel washing as a result of the twice daily swimming. The air con kept us cool throughout.

This apartment is very suitable for families with teenagers or small groups of adults. The location is fantastic for all. Note great bus and train services nearby with easy connections to Nice airport - no need for car.

Owner's Response: The south-facing balcony in downtown Cannes is a big bonus. The apartment has a microwave+oven,a washer dryer, wifi,and a large fridge. Clients can wine and dine in the sun, work , suntan or even dry the laundry, on the balcony. The beach chairs and mats give clients to the option of using nearby public beaches. .The beach "toys" save on luggage and expense for families. Airconditioning is a must in sunny Cannes. The location is excellent for the beach, resturants and shops.Public transport is convenient, inexpensive and well within walking distance taking you to wonderful locations like Antibes, Nice, Menton and even the sky slopes in Winter- oppurtunities not to be missed Its always great to receive a review from clients , many thanks and Im delighted you and your family had a good time.

Great vacation

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment this July. We where 2 adults and 4 teenagers and found the appartment to be very centrally located with just two minutes to walk to the beach and in a safe and quiet part of Cannes. It was also a very short walk to car rental and parking house. Parking in the center is expensive but we found L’Amy just one minute from the apartment to be acceptable if you need a car in your vacation. The apartment it self was very well equipped and we had absolutely everything we needed. Even beach chairs and beach towels where in the apartment and we really appreciated both the lovely balcony although no sea view and the necessary air condoning in summertime. The only negative thing was that the drawers and doors in the kitchen could use some adjustment.

very homely and central apartment

Really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It was central to everywhere yet quiet. Homely and conformable. Everything a few minutes walk away-beach, shops, restaurants & train station. Owner Helen is lovely and gave us lots of info and Valerie offered us a warm welcome. Highly recommended for any traveler.

Cannes in the Cote d'Azure. The town of Cannes offers wonderful entertainment all year round. There are a variety of festivals, throughout the year in the famous PALAIS de FESTIVALS. To cater for the cosmopolitan tourist there is an infinite number of restaurants of various cuisines, wonderful shops, the immediacy of the sea and excellent beach facilities. One can walk for kilometers by the sea. For a few euro one can take the train (v. frequent) to nearby Antibes or Nice. Italy is close enough for a day trip. Cannes is big enough to provide a variety of entertainment yet convenient enough to escape to the nearby mountains or nearby seashore towns.

Other Activities: designer shopping,film festivals etc.Take the train to Antibes,Nice,Italy. swim in the beautiful azure sea. There are really interesting walks to take. The tourist office has a booklet showing maps and transport to EZE , MOUGINS aNTIBES ETC . One can take a ferry to St Tropez for market day, or a ferry to two beautiful nearby islands especially to St Honaire.

There is a markey in Place Gambetta 5 days a week -5 minutes walk from the apartment its on week days from early morning to 1 pm .

There is a antique market in

Forviile every Monday-its a 15 minute walk to the old part of Cannes.The resturants are too numerous to mention.
