Spacious apartment in the center with sunny terrace

This sunny holiday apartment is newly furnished and is located on the 5th floor of a rental house in a Wilhelminian style in an excellent central location. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, a spacious living room with an open kitchen, which is equipped with a dishwasher, large fridge, electric stove with oven, microwave, coffee machine "senseo" , water cooker, toaster, dishes, pots and dining table for 6 people. In the living room there is a high-quality leather sofa bed for 2 people. Children's bed and travel bed and a high chair are available. The bathroom has a shower bathtub, a WC, spacious sink and a washing machine with a dryer. Furthermore, there is a TV, hifi system, radio alarm, hair dryer and iron. The spacious roof terrace is located facing the south. Parking is possible on Stephanstraße, pets not welcome, not ideal for older people and handicapped individuals. There is no elevator available.

Top quality apartment

This was a wonderful apartment! Very clean and efficient, the rooms were bigger than the impression I had from the photos. We found everything we needed in the apartment. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was really nice with a very high ceiling.

We liked the area: a quiet street, yet close to Ubahn and the center. There are a couple of nice supermarkets and a bakery within a couple of blocks. There was an unexpected heatwave in Berlin during the time we stayed there so the private terrace was also in full use.

I can strongly recommend this apartment. Even though it is quite a climb up the stairs to the 5th floor.

A Perfect Week

For one week in September we shared the apartment with a friend; we had one bedroom and she had the other.

This was our first trip to Berlin and we could not have experienced this wonderful city from a better home away from home. We really loved it.

As reviews mention the five flights are certainly a fitness test, however every step becomes well worth it once you step into the apartment! It is very spacious, light and airy. There are windows in every room, including the bathroom, everything works, there are big closets and drawers in each bedroom, plenty of lighting, and what is really special is the terrace where 3 of us had breakfast together on the table and chairs that live out there – you walk onto it straight from the living room. It feels very private and you look over tree tops and the back of some other beautiful lofts. You cannot see the street from the top but we parked our car in the street below and it was safe throughout our stay. The kitchen is well equipped, everything is clean and modern.

The apartment is well located for transport with buses & U Bahns, and the neighbourhood is very low key with a diverse community. It was such a pleasure to find our way around and we felt very safe. We absolutely loved the area. On occasions we even walked into the Mitte.

There is a large supermarket in a mall within easy walking distance (maybe 15mn) and that was our favourite place to shop for groceries and interesting things that we don’t get at home, as well as other smaller local shops closer by.

There is no question that we would thoroughly recommend this apartment as good value, comfortable and hosted by friendly and thoughtful owners.

We loved our stay and would certainly love to repeat the experience.

Ideal, gute Lage, alles da, was man braucht.

Alles war wunderbar in der Wohnung, die Küche hatte alles, sogar Kaffee für die tolle Kaffeemaschine, nur die Treppen waren mühevoll mit unseren Koffern.

sehr nette Gegend, von Tourismus verschont

Die Wohnung ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und charmant mit den Schlagen in den Schlafzimmern. Hohe Räume helfen gegen die sommerliche Hitze dies Jahr. Die Terrasse ist spitze für abends, leider fehlt ein Sonnenschirm für tags. Würde jederzeit wieder in die Wohnung gehen! Allerdings empfehlen wir alle, dicke weiche Auflagen für die Betten zu besorgen und Bettwäsche ohne Daunen. Für uns Allergiker. Trotzdem haben wir sehr gut geschlafen, die Wohnung ist auch superruhig!

Schöne Wohnung, super gelegen

Wir waren mit drei Erwachsenen und drei Kindern in der Ferienwohnung und waren sehr begeistert. Die Wohnung ist günstig geschnitten, es ist alles vorhanden, was man so braucht und die Lage ist auch super - mitten in Berlin, trotzdem ruhig. Die Treppen in den 5.ten Stock sind eine Herausforderung, aber man kann sich ja Zeit lassen :)

The roof apartment is located in the lively Stephankiez in Moabit. In the inner courtyard of Remise the commune I made mischief here in the end of the 60s. With the bus line M123 you can get to the new train station in only a few minutes. From there you can go on a walk along the Spree to discover the government district - a must for each Berlin guest. The historical Berlin (Under den Linden, Gendarmenmarkt, etc.) invites you after going through the Reichtag with its gigantic view and a wind of fresh air in the beautiful beer gardens and cafes along the Spree after a walk. Also, the city west with with the famous Kudamm, train station Zoo, memorial church and KaDeWe can be comfortably reached from the nearby subway station Birkenstraße. Do not forget a visit to the Prenzlauer mountain with its scene locals and the Hackeschen market, which can be reached in a few minutes by bus and subway.

Der Preis für die Endreinigung inklusive 2 Wäschepakete (Bettwäsche, Handtücher und Geschirrtücher) beträgt einmalig 55 Euro/brutto. Ab dem 3. Wäschepaket 6,00 Euro pro Person.

ab 1 Woche: 10 % Rabatt;
ab 2 Wochen: 15 % Rabatt;
ab 4 Wochen: 20 % Rabatt

1 Kleinkinderbett für ein Kind bis 3 Jahre und 1 Reisebett für ein Kind bis 5 Jahre sind vorhanden. Bettwäsche und Bettdecken für diese Betten müssen selbst mitgebracht werden.
