Alcaidesa is a pretty seaside village 15 mins drive from Gibraltar or 1 hour from Malaga, with the beautiful Mediterranean beach only 5 mins walk from the apartment. Perfect for a family holiday, this lovely spacious penthouse boast a huge sun terrace and BBQ, fully equipped kitchen, utility room, large lounge, TV, DVD, two bathrooms, private parking for 3 cars. The large communal pool also commands panoramic sea views, the beach is two kilometres long with windsurfing and catameran hire. Alcaidesa has the only links golf course in the Costa Del Sol, this is ten mins walk from the apartment. Valderrama and San Roque and Sotogrande are just a 10 mins drive. The windsurfing and kite surfing mecca of Tarifa is an easy 35 mins drive.

The penthouse apartment benefits from a huge sun terrace with stunning sea views. There is a BBQ, table, chairs and loungers..the view also incorporates the communual pool, so you can keep an eye on the kids! A lift takes you from the underground private car park..with 3 spaces.. to the 3rd and top floor. The beach is an easy 1 minute drive or 8 mins walk. The beach itself is 2 kms long!!

Amazing Apartment

Would reccomend to anyone looking to visit the area. We stayed there on a 4 month rental and was extremly pleased with the facilities provided. The aparment furnishings are decorated to a really high standard, large flat screen, Sky TV, large beds, BBQ and a huge balcony with amazing sea views. Suitable for people looking for a relaxing or sightseeing holiday. Also benefits from a lovely pool area with paddle tennis courts. I would recommend to hiring a car to see the various sights on offer all within a close drive from Gibraltar, Tarifa , Morrocco or the Costa del sol. The owner Phil is a good guy to deal with and any issues were sorted with straight away. Will be booking for family to come out and stay again, best apartment we have stayed in abroad.

quiet and secure

This apartment/penthouse is one of the best places I have rented ever. The only thing that lets it down is the lack of sunbeds on the large terrace, which the owner tells me is now sorted. It has comfy seating for 4 and dining for 6 inside and a further 6 on the terrace. The views are great over the Med and the sun is on the terrace most of the day. The bedrooms are great, with two of them having access onto the terrace. Bathrooms are very good. Parking in the private garage is easy, as long as the batteries in the zapper are ok. Within a 20 minute drive to Gibralta, which can take longer to get into once you arrive at the border. Do not go in before 9am and try to be out before 4pm. Our first visit in there took over an hour to get out at 5pm. Morrisson's in Gibralta is quite expensive for nearly everything except alcohol and tobacco. Do remember you are restricted on what you can bring out into Spain and take back to the UK. I would recomend this rental to anyone looking for peace and quiet, but still near to some major towns and Gibralta. Many golf courses in easy reach. Finally, I will be emailing the owner to thank him. Also will inform him that some new pots and pans may be needed, but we coped with that minor problem. We will also thank him for the wi-fi system he has there and the normal UK tv channels. Worth the rental any day.

Die Ferienwohnung ist groß und geräumig ideal für den Sommer

Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung aber die Ordnung in den Schränken liess zu wünschen übrig.

Zu allem überfluss fiel auch noch die Heizung teilweise aus so das wir auf die Klimaanlage mit angewiesenwaren die recht laut ist. Auch sich darum zu kümmern wurde nicht eingehalten. Schade ist das die große Terasse im Osten liegt für den Januar einen schönen Sonnenaufgang bot aber kaum Aufenthalt möglich war. Aber im großen und ganzen kann man die Wohnung wieter empfehlen aber vielleicht nicht zum Winter hin.

Alcaidesa Village is on the Mediterranean Coast only ten kilometres from Gibraltar. It's perfectly positioned for golf with the only links course in the Costa Del Sol, and it only ten mins drive from Valderrama and San Roque. Sotogrande is equally close with it chic marina and Port Duquesa, Estepona and Puerto Banus are all within a 30 mins drive. In the opposite direction Tarifa on the Atlantic coast is an easy drive, this is a mecca for kite surfers and windsurfers. In land the stunning Andalucian interior is easily accessible and the pretty hill top towns of Casares, Gaucin and Jimena De La Frontera are well worth a visit.

Golf: Alcaidesa links golf course is only 10 mins walk from the apartment, designed by Peter Alliss and Clive Clark it is the only links course in the Costa Del Sol and has a restaurant, bar and pro shop 0034 956791040. Valderrama, San Roque, Sotogrande, La Canada, La Reserva and Almenara are all only 10 to 20 mins drive away.
