Each bedroom has an en-suite bath. The Master Bedroom and guest bedroom each have a small sitting room, and private access to the front deck. A large kitchen and living room and two outdoor decks complete this easy-living vacation home. A lockable door leads to seven stone steps down to the pool area.
Driving in Tortola can be exciting, and the location of this home is no exception. A steep, winding road leads to the house and those spectacular views. After the first ascent, you will feel like a local! A small convenience store is located at the bottom of the hill (3 minutes), and charming Soper's Hole, with its large grocery, numerous restaurants and shops,and water sports, is 5 minutes away. Nanny Cay marina, with shops, restaurants, and water activities is 7 minutes away. The North Shore beaches of Apple Bay, Long Bay, and Smuggler's Cove are a few minutes away over Zion Hill.
In short, this is a practically perfect location from which to enjoy your Tortola vacation!

Oceana was a great fit for me and my family for our '16 spring break trip. While Tortola takes a little more effort to get to than other islands (1 hour ferry from St Thomas plus BVI customs), the benefits are worth it. The island is more like St John than St Thomas while offering a home base for day trips to Jost van Dyke and Virgin Gorda. Oceana is located on the preferred west end of Tortola with convenient access to all the best beaches and restaurants on the island. Oceana is open and airy with great high volume ceilings that frame unbelievable panoramic views of St. John and Jost van Dyke. Photos do not do the view justice, the views from the pool and wrap around porch are spectacular. The accommodations within the house are comfortable and appropriate. The drive up to the house is typical for caribbean secondary roads and may be a challenge for some as it is narrow and steep, but you get used to it quickly.
Oceana, located at the TOP Romney Hill, is a perfect escape. We were a group of three couples, each having our own space where we all enjoyed the large rooms, patio(s), pool, and view. And the owners went out of their way to make sure we have everything we needed and were comfortable!
We had a wonderful stay. The home is gorgeous and has breathtaking views. I could lay out by that pool every day! So luxurious!
Oceana is an exquisite property located on Tortola's West end in the heart of the British Virgin Islands. Its central location to beaches, the West End, and Road Town, is punctuated by breathtaking views of the North side of Tortola, the West side of St. John USVI, St. Thomas, USVI as well as sights of Peter island, and Great Thatch, BVI. The views are both spectacular and peaceful, and can enjoyed from the spacious sun deck, with its pristine infinity pool, or its long porch, which offers cool breezes perched a top the vista. The house itself has an inviting and open layout, while still offering the privacy for multiple couples, or a multi-generational family to enjoy. The kitchen is great for cooking, and home offers plenty of room to entertain. I would definitely return and recommend visiting this spectacular luxury vacation villa!
