The location cannot be beat, whether for business or for pleasure. It's a great option with Rittenhouse Square as the place to be.
Floor to Ceiling windows, that wrap around corners makes sure that the City's skyline enters into your living room providing a bright and airy environment. With the benefit of granite counter tops and hardwood floors just makes for a wonderful experience.
Our month in Philly was excellent — and it was mainly because of this rental and the customer service of Chris and Roman!
We stayed in the actual unit listed here, and it is even better than the photos show. It's a corner unit and gets brilliant sun, and you can view the hustle and bustle of Market St... but it's very quiet! The bedrooms are also very private and spacious. Trader Joe's is across the street, and a variety of excellent restaurants (many with delivery) made this a very fat city for us ;) We were in walking distance to Franklin Institute which my kids loved. The parking was very close by and easy in/out, and the lobby concierges were very patient with our loud kids racing in to push the elevator buttons first. The workout facility is also RIGHT DOWN THE HALL from the unit, so that you can work off all the food you've been jamming in there. The large screen TV was also one of the nicest we've seen in 3 years of staying in vacation rentals.
When we arrived, our internet and cable TV didn't work, and the UrHip guys scrambled immediately to fix it. They also replaced some pans that were scratched up (typical wear and tear often gets overlooked when you have quick turnover) and provided us with some more utensils. Very responsive!
All in all, I give this property and their managers an A!
We loved our stay at 2040 Market Street. My husband and I (both in our 60's) stayed 12 nights. Our 28 year old daughter joined us for 7. This well located property is near restaurants, the theater, Reading Terminal, Fairmount Park and public transportation. Our one bedroom apartment was very spacious. We were able to entertain family as there was a full kitchen and plenty of seating. The bed was very comfortable and it was great to have a washer and dryer in the apartment. The building receptionists were very helpful and the apartment management were very responsive. This was a wonderful cost effective way to have an extended visit in the city.
What an amazing place to stay! 6 of us comfortably stayed in this condo for 2 nights while in town visiting with family and exploring the area with 2 people who had never been to philadelphia. The location was incredible with close access to parking as well many public transportation options to easily get to any sightseeing and food destinations at a moments decision. The view of the street and skyline was absolutely stunning!!! We are looking forward to a longer stay next year. We will undoubtedly use ur home in philly (UrHip) again.
