Relaxing cabin with 220 desert views! and many of the amenities of a modern hotel suite - Step inside and you will find a new kitchen, flat screen TV, internet, great viewing windows, stone shower, and huge recliner chairs. Step out front and you will find a 220 degree view with a cute sitting porch and fireplace. In the back is a private backyard with a large picnic table and are very nice BBQ.
We made plans to stay in this cabin from Tuesday to Friday with an early check out. The cabin in very comfortable, you do not hear noise - except the wind. Aside from neighbors which are close to the closed back yard, you really don't see anyone else. The neighbors are quiet and we did not hear them. AND...those are the only neighbors (1 house) that you really see, and that's only their home.
The cabin looks like it is new. All the appliances, and t.v. are high quality and work perfect. I say you can make all the plans you want, but the cabin and privacy will make you surely so comfortable and peaceful that you may not want to leave : ) I did bring some laundry and fell hard for the washer and dryer...as I said the appliances are of great quality! And remotes to everything, even the battery operated candles!
The owner is great, totally responsive during our stay, generally no more than a 5 min wait when we texted him with any questions.
Mark, thank you for sharing this precious place. We greatly enjoyed our stay.
Comfortable and clean. Nice place to stay
While visiting Joshua Tree National Park.
Well stocked cooking and eating tools.
We had a very relaxing time.
First off, Mark was super responsive and helpful, so no need to worry about an aloof manager. The lodgings were well sized and designed, and the bed and furniture were comfortable. The place was well stocked as well, firewood for the firepit, gas for the grill, seasonings, pots, pans, utensils, etc...aside from food itself or specific spices, you won't need anything. The scenery is gorgeous...we came during a full moon, and watched moon rise in the East as the sun set in the West...couldn't ask for anything more from a desert stay. Grocery stores and restaurants and everything isn't too far away, but far enough you won't feel their presence.
Two things to be cognizant of...one, this is somewhat remote, so there are coyotes and such about...you'll want to keep that in mind if you have small children or dogs, and the internet is via satellite, which is fine for hitting websites and such, but will have latency and you won't want try playing online games or remote work beyond emails (but that isn't what you are here for anyways).
Overall, a wonderful stay.
Great location - only 20 minutes from JTree park entrance, up a secluded little road. The cabin is small but the space is perfectly planned. Sitting out on the deck at night we saw roadrunners and a coyote family. The owner was extremely responsive and very accommodating. We will definitely use this cabin again in the future
This is our 2nd stay. It really is home away from home except more relaxed. Its a worry free zone and you have everything you need for a nice getaway. My husband looks forward to coming back which we will. This time we didnt do anytjing special just time away from the city and bonding time for all 3( my husband, myself and our dog)
Its so relaxing even my dog loves it she likes walking around the outdoors, just make sure you can an eye out for coyotes. The mean no harm but they are around. My dog came close to one and it got scared once it saw us and ran away.
Thank you for this Peaceful space Mark. You are great you make sure we get all the info we need and check up on us too. Like i said we will be back
