This 3 bedroom house, completed in Spring 2002, is just 10mins drive from Murcia (San Javier) airport and about 50mins from Alicante. It is located in a quiet area of Los Alcazares and only 10mins walk to the beautiful Mar Menor beach & 5-10mins walk to plenty of local bars, shops and restaurants. It comfortably sleeps 6 & is furnished to a very high standard with all mod cons (including satellite TV & DVD). New for 2017 season WIFI is available. The master room has a double bed, air conditioning & balcony over looking the front of the property, Upstairs bedroom has twin beds, air conditioning and small balcony with views of the communal pool. Downstairs bedroom also has twin beds with views of the pool. A fully equipped kitchen opens onto the rear terrace. It has a large living/dining area & 2 bathrooms, one very spacious with a large corner bath & another with a shower. There is a private terrace & garden complete with table and chairs to the front, a large private solarium on the roof with sunbeds & overlooks one of the landscaped gardens and swimming pools, complete with paddling pool.

  • Master bedroom overlooking the front of the property via patio doors has a built in wardrobe with plenty of hanging space. There are also 2 bedside tables and a box unit for storing clothes. This room also has a full length mirror and air conditioning that can also be used for warm air during the colder months, together with a ceiling fan. The upstairs twin room also has a fitted wardrobe with a combination safe inside and a bedside table. It overlooks the rear of the property via patio doors and also has air conditioning and a ceiling fan. The downstairs twin room is situated to the rear of the property with views of the communal pool via a large window. It has hanging space for clothes, bedside table and a ceiling fan

If you hire a car there is free parking available in the roads adjacent to the complex which are called Isla Tabarca and Isla Columbretes . On the ground floor is 1 twin bedroom together with a shower room, complete with toilet & sink, ideal for the elderly or infirm. Satellite TV, DVD, iron, ironing board & hairdryer inc free of charge. (Cots can be arranged). Air conditioned for the summer & heated for winter evenings. Pools & gardens for sole use of the residents/guests & look beautiful when lit at night. The pool is surrounded by grass and ideal for sunbathing The beach at Los Alcazares is very safe & the water is very shallow making it ideal for children. There are many beach bars serving snacks and drinks along the edge of the beautiful promenade. . Although the property does have Wi-Fi, it is also available free of charge at the local bars and restaurants which is just a short walk away.

Los alcazares August 2014 Karen, Peter and Paul

We have been coming to these apartments for around 6 years now and have stayed in several different apartments.

This is about the nicest one we have stayed in with plenty of room and lovely views of the pool .

Everything we wanted was in this apartment which had a lower ground floor with a bedroom for my son and two bedrooms on the next floor.We did not need to use the sunroof as it was lovely just to go out the back door area and have the pool right there.

We got picked up from the airport with no hassle and then back again . Our friends were staying in a smaller apartment away from the pool and were rather envious of the aircon we had and the price we paid for the stay was very reasonable compared with what they paid .

Paddy we would love to come again next year but we don't know what days we have yet but I rather think our friends will beat it to the booking before us.

Los Alcazares has changed over the years but for the better as there is a good choice of bars/restaurants suiting all tastes now but still has the family atmosphere and no boistrous crowds.The sea is very warm and gentle in the summer and we love going to Johnny's bar just a short walk along the beach . Lovely moonshine view on an evening for a drink.

Lovely house in great location

Just returned from a fantastic holiday at this lovely house. It was our first time in Los Alcazares but definitely won't be our last. The house itself is spacious, very clean and tidy with everything you could want. The kitchen backs on to the corner of the garden area surrounding the pool which was great. The complex is really lovely and the pool area was never too crowded. The pedestrianised "strip" is a very short walk and there is no shortage of choice in terms of restaurants etc. There is a great buzz at nighttime with live music many nights we were there. All very family friendly. We hired a car but you could easily get away without one. If you have a car there is a nice beach at Pilar de la Horadada which only a short drive up the coast. The area beside the big car park is the nicest part of the beach. A trip to Cartagena by car or bus is well worthwhile. Really lovely city with plenty to see.

Paddy was most helpful during the booking process and while we were there. The airport pick up and drop off which Paddy can arrange is well worth availing of.

Lovely house in a superb location. We'll be back!

This was our 3rd family holiday to Los Alcazares and our second stay in El Divino, which is a really friendly complex. Within 15 minutes of landing we were at Paddy's house and settling in with our 3 kids aged 10 to 15 fighting over which room they wanted. The house is lovely and has everything that you could require for a comfortable week or two away(The air conditioning was a god send at night as was the satellite tv for my youngest in the mornings!).

The complex is close to the supermarkets and 'The Strip' a pedestrian zone where you will find a selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Paddy was incredibly helpful, communicating before, during and after our holiday to ensure we enjoyed our stay. He organised pick up from the airport and providing a contact for taxi's and hire cars. This happened to be the owner of 'The Celt' on 'The Strip' who also keeps a great pint of Guinness.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday, particularly our day at the zoo/water park in Murcia but it's good to know that if you take your passport they give you a voucher so you can use the park for free again within 3 days of your visit.

We would recommend Los Alcazares to anybody as it suits all types of holidaymaker (except perhaps stag do's). We certainly recommend Paddy's house as a base to either explore from or to just relax and sunbathe by the beautiful pool.

Thanks again Paddy. We'll be back!

Relaxing, Hassle free holiday

The description, and reviews, of this property are pretty much spot on.

Really close to the airport; Our flight arrived at San Javier at 8.25pm and we were in the apartment by 9pm.

El Divino is a lovely complex, in a great location, and Paddy's apartment is well located in the complex.

The front faces a quiet side of the development and the rear faces onto the corner of the pool.

When the back is sunny the front is in shade, and vice versa.

Apartment is well equipped, with everything you could need, from coolboxes to bucket and spades, and proper beach style sun beds.

The pool was really nice. The rules weren't a major hassle.

The square was even closer than we thought, just a few minutes walk to where the supermarket, bars, restaurants, and cashpoints are.

Our favourite restaurants were Run asian restaurant and El Patio. If you turn right outside the complex, walking away from the square, there is the Garden Bar a couple of minutes walk away. Good for a sneaky daytime pint, or lovely barbecued food at night.

The beach we used was about a 10 minute walk from the top of the square, and there was a great beach bar there for breakfast and lunch.

Los Alcazares is great for a lazy, relaxing holiday. If we went again I'd probably hire a car for longer just to explore a bit more. We only had a car for a few days to go to the waterpark in Murcia.

I'd definitely go back here and would try to book Paddy's apt again.
