Best deal on the north shore. This is not a condo. It is a studio on an exclusive, gated private property.
-Our unit comes with a washer and dryer!!!!
-Beach chairs and boogie boards, etc......
-2 acre professionally landscaped yard
-1 parking stall and extra guest parking
-Dvd players and 30' flat screen
There is a beautiful view of mount Ka'ala the highest mountain on the island of oahu, at 4,025 feet. This lush, manicured 2-acre landscaped estate brings an essence of paradise to our home. Tropical fruit trees are all around, mango, banana, citrus, papaya and avocado. This spacious island studio was built and situated to take advantage of the cool hawaiian trade-winds and hear the sound of the waves crashing year round.
The ocean is less than 300 yards away. The access to a world class neighborhood beach is only ten houses down the street. Less than 1 mile from polo fields and sky diving at dillingham airfield.
Our studio is very clean, casual and well taken care of and all of the appliances are brand new. The Room is furnished with a very comfortable Balinese Teak queen bed.. The bathroom has a walk in shower and bamboo island ceilings. Tropical furnishings make you feel like you are living in an island retreat. Guests park in their own private parking stall. The sky is fantastic at night because we have minimal street lights to interfere with the brilliance of the stars and planets. The owner lives on site so NO PARTIES PLEASE.

I was born on the island of Oahu and have been living here on and off for the last 36 years. My family and I live on the property which should give your stay a warm and welcome one. We love to travel and visit new places around the world. After visiting so many places we learned about what a traveler needed. We decided to provide such a place with our own vacation rental.
Dane Pollock purchased this house in 1970

I have traveled all over the world and there is still no place like the North Shore of Oahu. Our property and location has everything you need for your Hawaiian vacation get-away.
We have fallen in love with our property because of the country living aspect. There is something to be said for waking up to North Shore country Roosters!!!!! We also love living so close to the ocean and hearing the massive waves roar in the winter months.
It was such a great experience. The house had everything I needed. It was very much felt like home and was a great place to unwind after the days adventure. The studio was quiet and we felt very safe. The hosts were awesome. The location is great and the North Shore is amazing.
Two of us stayed in this studio unit for three nights. The owners were very easy to coordinate with - we texted to find a good check-in time etc. The family has a large house on the property, as well as some other buildings, and you reach the studio and the other larger rental unit (they are attached) via a long driveway. The property is gated, so along with a key you are provided an opener to the gate. It felt very safe. Be aware that the family has a few dogs. I love dogs, so no issues there, but others might not.
We found the unit to be quite nice and pretty comfortable, with the exception of the bed. The mattress was very hard and we were both tossing and turning some at night. Also, each morning there was a lot of loud activity outside - seemed like property improvement projects, etc. We were not able to sleep in, which is a bummer when you're on vacation, but it did get us up and about.
Another bummer when you're on vacation is the need to occasionally work, which I had to do, but the wifi signal was very weak. (If a project that I was expecting had come in, I would have gone to the coffee shop in Waialua, but luckily it did not - yay!) Ultimately, if you will need a lot of online access, this is probably not the best option for you.
Overall, pretty nice spot but just be aware of those couple of nits.
This was a wonderful location, and a very nice studio! We loved that the studio was at the back of the property, and had it's own deck/shower area. The inside was very beautifully decorated and the bathroom/shower was amazing! The space was quite large for a studio, and the decorating and utlization of space was very well thought out. We loved that it was off of a small residential street that was connected to even smaller street. We were able to run several days right from the studio due to the quiet streets and the close proximity to the bike path. The public beach access was very close and it was very neat and safe! WE LOVED THIS LOCATION, STUDIO, AND THE MANAGER! we will definitely stay here again on our next trip!!!!!
My trip to the north shore was like no other. The VRBO I stayed in made me feel at home and was just the right place for 1 - 2 people. Close to towns and amenities.
I had a wonderful stay in this quiet, beautiful and peaceful rural Hawaiian Home. The studio was just right for my needs on this trip. The Studio was clean with updated decor, great little kitchen and located in a safe gated area. I travel often for work and work some very long hours, each night I felt like I was returning home.
I did have some down time and enjoyed the short walk to the beach as well as Paddle Boarding in Hale'iwa, the surfing community is just a few miles down the road. There is a running/walking trail that is also easily accessible. The drive to Honolulu/Waikiki is about 40 mins (longer in commute traffic) but easy to get to Pearl Harbor as well as downtown.
Laurie was very helpful and pleasant to work with during my stay. I look forward to returning and hope to bring family next time. Mahalo, Laurie!
This place was the perfect little romantic getaway and cozy little studio for just the two of us. The owner/ landlord was more than hospitable! Always making sure we were ok.
I was a little dissapointed at the fact it is attached to a house, and I could hear baby's crying and the people renting the house were fairly loud at night so it was difficult for us to get some peace and quiet, we were looking for something a bit more secluded. But that was the only downfall. We will absolutely return next year, and make sure we get the big house next time;)
On Sundays the polo field holds matches from teams around the world-this is a 5 min walk down the beach. Haleiwa, the main town, is only a 6 minuted drive away. Here you can buy your shave ice, groceries, shop at local shops and eat at amazing restaurants. If you like to surf or paddle board, Surf n Sea is located in Haleiwa. Rent a board for a week and explore! There are endless thing to do on the North Shore! Hike, snorkel, collect shells, surf, boogie board, watch the sunset and more. Farmers Markets are must do when visiting the North Shore
