Relax at this scenic location with unobstructed views of the Gore Range and a ten acre lake out the back door. Located in the heart of ski country with easy highway access to all the ski areas, this four bedroom duplex has everything needed for a wonderful, quiet vacation experience. The summer months offer beautiful days and cool nights and activities to please any vacationer.

Three Bedrooms on the upper floor and one on the main floor offer exceptional comfort for you and your guests with five queen beds. In addition, the living room sofa converts to a queen bed so the home can accommodate up to twelve persons.

The kitchen has everything needed to prepare gourmet meals and the gas fireplace and jetted tub are just two of the amenities that make this home special. A two-car garage is a real bonus as well as high-speed internet, washer and dryer and 40' smart TV. The dining room seats seven and the breakfast bar an additional two persons.

All newly decorated and offered at reasonable rates.

The other side of the duplex can also be rented and can accommodate 12 persons as well, so this is an ideal setting for a family reunion or any large gathering.

Amazing Place to Stay in Silverthorne!!!

Our stay at Karen Shoemaker's duplex in Silvethorne was absolutely wonderful. The view of the mountains was spectacular and the reflection on the lake in front of mountains was truly breathtaking!!! The home is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. The beds were comfortable which is always important. The three bathrooms were very convenient for our family. It was just a very comfortable place for our family. Karen was a pleasure to deal with and called us the first day just to make sure that everything was going well. We also received our deposit back in a timely fashion. All in all we were super happy with this place!!!!

Beautiful, clean, spacious place. Exactly like the picture

The place is beautiful. Well equipped. And clean! Everything was as described. Everything you needed was included. Very spacious. We had a group of 8, and it fit us all comfortably. 2 car garage and driveway parking. It's a duplex, so owner owns BOTH units. Imagine renting both for a large group/family.

Check-in process was simple too. Go to the office a few miles away, key and garage opener was left in a coded lock-box.

Back yard is literally a lake (frozen in the winter). I can't imagine how beautiful the place would be in the summer. The drive to Vail ski resort is less than 40 minute. Drive to Copper Mountain resort was about 15 minutes only. Drive about 1 mile out of the neighborhood, and you're greeted with all kinds of dining and shopping.

And lastly, communication. The owner is fast to respond. Very nice (we spoke on the phone). And also VERY professional. Every part of the communication was clear and concise. I actually forgot all the info I printed out at home, but when I was about to take off on the plane, I sent her an email about what happened. Sure enough, when I landed, I received an email from her with everything I needed.

We will definitely stay at this place again when we return. I almost don't want to recommend this place because I want to keep it to myself!!! :)

Family vacation

My extended family had a wonderful time during our stay at this duplex in Silverthorne. The place was large enough for six adults and one baby to all have enough space and be together for meals or talking after dinner. The location is great for easy access to the river pathway, grocery stores, and I-70. Everything at the location was as advertised in VRBO and the views of the mountains are wonderful. Karen (the owner) called us the first night to ensure that everything was going well and answer any questions. We recommend this duplex and Karen.

Excellent location

The duplex is excellent. 4 queen beds, 3 bathrooms, very well equipped kitchen, garage, wifi, cable, etc. Close to stores and any of the skiing mountains around. Totally recommend it.

Perfect for our group

The duplex was perfect for my group of 12 men. Half the group was 25-35 and the other half 55-67. I've previously owned property in Keystone for almost 30 years until 2014. I decided it was in my best interest to rent the couple of times each year that I ski out west. Since I usually bring a group ranging in size from 5 to 12, I have to search all the available properties. I must say this was the best property money can rent. The convenience to so many ski resorts, restaurants, shopping and the size, bedding, views and accessibility of this duplex is perfect for most any group. We rented both units and everyone had there own queen size bed. No where else would that have been possible at this low price.
