Gorgeous Territorial View in Lovely, Quiet SW Portland Neighborhood

This is a bright and spacious in-law studio with a kitchen and it sleeps up to four; 2 in the queen bed and there are 2 additional rollaway beds ( the comfy type). You will have a private entry, and a large deck. It has a fully equipped kitchen, fireplace insert, TV and DVD, and a 3/4 bath with washer and dryer. The home is in a beautiful SW Portland neighborhood which is close to downtown and many attractions of the area. There is plenty of safe free parking on the street that provides easy access to the apartment. 2 cats and a dog live in the main house and have use of the yard (dog is never in yard when I am not home)....all are friendly.

About Julie Lewis

I live in the main house with my 2 cats, a very obedient siberian husky dog and an African Gray parrot. I occasionally have visitors but we are never loud or intrusive. I make my living in the footwear and apparel business and I have a booth at Saturday market. I grew up in Palo Alto, CA., and I went to undergraduate school in San Diego (UCSD) and graduate school at Oregon State University in Corvallis. I have two grown children. My son is a professional musician and my daughter is a videographer and a personal trainer.

Territorial view, quiet beautiful neighborhood, free safe street parking, close to many activities. You will have a private entry and we may never even see each other. Friendly cats and my dog may pay a visit, but they will not have access to your living space unless you want them.

Nice, clean, safe, great neighborhood

This is a very well maintained, clean studio. It is a daylight basement set in a hill so one wall is fully above ground. It is well equipped and supplied. Fully functional kitchen. Great communication with owner.

large studio is a good value

I think most people will find this large space with lots of amenities a great place to stay. Some things didn't work for me because I'm badly out of shape and not used to the lifestyle of renting other people's places (a nice hotel is more my speed), but I can see how it would be great for a large portion of the population. Only two things to note for those traveling with other people: 1) the sink does not have a disposal; and 2) there can sometimes be a fair bit of noise from above. The second issue is likely only a problem for someone working during the day there (which I was), so no big deal most of the time.

Cozy little getaway!!

Perfect space for my husband, pup and I! Plenty of space and cozy layout. We had a lovely time walking around the neighborhood and it's only a 15 min drive/Uber to Downtown!!

My daughter and I were traveling alone to Oregon for the first time and were looking for somewhere that was a safe neighborhood and we found it! It was also very centrally located which made it nice to go anywhere we wanted with ease, from good restaruants to the Portland Zoo. This unit was perfect for us, but do note that there are quite a few outside stairs to get to the entrance of the unit, it is situated at the back of the home and in the lower level of the house. Also this is an open studio floor plan so if you are wanting privacy you would need to go into the bath/laundry room. But the unit was well appointed with all our needs, clean and roomy. Julie was most helpful and Ivan (her dog :) ) was very friendly. Thanks for a great stay!
