Hiking, beach combing, museums, shopping, and the Ferry to Victoria, B.C. are all within a short drive.

The home has a contemporary design with comfortable and tasteful furnishings. The master bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom has a double futon. The bathroom features a tub/shower combo. The modern kitchen offers everything you need to whip up a quick meal. Enjoy your dinner or morning coffee outside on the deck and patio garden with their gorgeous views of the mountains and the sea. This was our third time at Olympic National Park and the most comfortable stay by far. Your cottage is very comfortable and equipped with any and everything one might need. Your love and care showed in every part of the cottage. Our highlight this trip was our hike to Marymere falls, the hike at Hurricane Ridge Hill, and watching seals basking in the sun. We mostly ate at home and picnicked thanks to Safeway being so close!!

Thanks for letting us enjoy the stay at your beautiful home.

We are experienced Home Away travelers. We give this property an A. Great central location in quiet hillside neighborhood. Well appointed Cratfsman style furnishings and decore. Adequate bedrooms and nice size kitchen with eating area. Deck with views of harbor and mtns. in distance a plus. Highly recommended Sabat Thai restaurant around the corner but make reservations. Safeway and Country Aire (organic food store) are nearby. Entrance to Hurricane Ridge also close by. We notified Squiem Vacation Rentals about the modem repeatedly shutting down the three days we were there. We recommend you ensure that was fixed.

Enjoyable stay - could have been better

We are both experienced vacation house renters and this was our first time in the Port Angels area. Overall, the house was fine and the best points were: (1) Very clean (2) Kitchen was very well equipped (3) Well located in a quiet neighborhood where we felt quite safe. (4) Living room furniture was very good. (5) Nice views of mountains and the bay.

Things that should improve: (1) We are very dependent on internet availability due to our professions. The wireless system at the house was down for two days and the property managers didn't return our call until late during the second day. (2) The dishwasher was broken and the property managers didn't offer a small price adjustment due to the inconvenience (3) The bedding is lacking in quality. The mattress and box springs in the master bedroom were poor quality - the pillows were horrible - I wouldn't consider the futon in the second bedroom to be acceptable for any adult or older child. (4) At a small cost, upgrade the TV to something more modern. A 42" LCD doesn't cost much these days. (5) The property managers require that you return the key to their office at the end of the rental. While it wasn't a problem for us as we were travelling in that direction, it would be a big hassle if the renter is leaving in a different direction. If so, this would add 60 minutes (round trip) to you travel time.

The best!

We could not have been more pleased with our lovely home, we walked in and instantly felt the warmth and care that this "cottage" had. Our morning coffee on the deck with a great view and our evening meals at the spacious kitchen table were perfect. It was a great spot to start our days adventures, hiking or going across the water for "high tea" , shopping or walking lavender gardens, it was all within an easy car ride. We would rate this a A!

Olympic National Park Visit

My family and I at the last minute decided to go to the park. Since there are four of us we did not want to stay in a hotel. The cottage was great. It was furnished nicely and was very clean. The beds could have been better, but that is our only complaint. The home is located in a neighborhood and you are not close to a grocery store or restaurants. I would consider staying there on our next visit the peninsula.

Location

Craftsman Cottage is located in the heart of Port Angeles. Take a trip to Hurricane Ridge, a short 15 minute drive away. Ferry terminal to Victoria, B.C. is 5 minute drive away as is downtown shopping and restaurants. Tour west of Port Angeles to Lake Crescent, Sol Duc Hotsprings, Hoh Rainforest, Freshwater Bay, Forks (home of Twilight), and the many gorgeous beaches along the coast, all within a 20 minute to 2 hour drive.

Long Term Stays available Oct 1st - April 30th: $3000/month(based on 2 guests), plus a $150 Non-refundable move out cleaning fee and a $500 Security/Damage Deposit. All Long Term monies are to be made in the form of cash, personal/business check or cashier's check.

On the VRBO advertising site we have numerous vacation rentals that we manage.
All check-ins for balances paid, home locations and Keys will be issued upon arrival at our office located directly behind the Sequim Visitor Center on Washington St at 61 N Rhodefer Rd, Sequim WA.
A current identification (Photo id) will be required at check in. Rental agreements will be signed and issued as well as any supporting documents when required.
Locations of the homes will not be provided beforehand due to our ongoing security and privacy policy.
All keys are to returned to this office upon departing our area at the end of your visit.

A 50% deposit of the base rental funds (before cleaning fee and tax is added) plus a $25 non-refundable booking fee is required at the time of booking. All bookings must be secured with a Visa/MasterCard. All remaining funds are due at the time of check in. Reservations can be made by contacting Brigadoon Vacation Rentals by email or phone.
