Beautiful home with breathtaking floor to ceiling views of the river and mountains. Two master suites and one en suite bedroom with private balcony. One master suite is wheelchair accessible. Wrap around porch with two large decks. One captures the morning sun, while the other is perfect for barbecuing and relaxing late into the evening. This property has several swimming holes and sandy beaches, as well as a 2acre flat meadow perfect for camping or playing sports. The property owners also own the 13 acres on the other side of the river, ensuring your privacy. Except for the occasional kayaker or river rafter, the riverfront is extremely private. This home is 2 miles from the entrance of the sequoia national park. All 3 bedrooms are equipped with queen-size beds and the two master suites also have sofa sleepers. The home sleeps 10 comfortably. The wheel chair accessible master suite on the main floor is 500sqft. The master suite on the upper floor is 700sqft and portrays incredible views from the bedroom and bathroom. The living room has cathedral ceilings and boasts a gorgeous river rock fireplace. The home also contains a large open kitchen. Although the house is truly beautiful, the land it sits on is arguably the most desirable riverfront property in the area. The portion of river that runs through the property flows year-round and includes swimming and fishing holes, as well as rapids and rocky falls. This stunning piece of property truly encompasses everything a guest could ask for.

House has wonderful views. Love the huge wood dining room table for us all to sit at and the house fit our party of nine (four adults and give kids) perfect. Close to sequoia park which we did the two days we were there. Had wonderful coffee at Antoinnettes in town.
In August, my family of four plus 2 other families stayed in this awesome house. We had 11 people in our party and we all had adequate space. Each family had their own bathroom as well as an extra powder room downstairs. The best part of the property is the grounds. There are amazing spots to enjoy a day of fun at the river! It was nice to be able to go down to the river's swimming and fishing holes, but come back up to the house when the group got hungry or wanted to relax & get out of the sun. David the caretaker is very helpful, but unobtrusive. He loaned us fishing poles and took us down to show us the various fishing spots and swimming holes. Water shoes are recommended because you will be walking on rocks and they can be slippery. The walk down can be a bit steep in some areas. The house itself was equipped nicely. I might suggest a few more plates, bowls & we didn't find a pitcher for making drinks. Perhaps a bear proof trash can also. A little bit inconvenient to have to text when trash is needs to be dumped. With large parties staying together, trash needed to be emptied daily. Pantry is fully loaded with essentials like cooking oils & spices foil etc. We've stayed at various rentals & never know what you will get, but we were pleasantly surprised here. Nice sitting area on the deck as well as bbq. You can hear the river from the decks. :) Sequoia's entrance is very close, but it will take a good 30-45 to get to the main attractions on a windy road. Recommend the Big Trees Trail, very easy trail around a meadow. The caretaker's wife informed us of deer on the property, so we got to see a momma and her baby on the way out. So cool! Would not hesitate to stay here again!
Wonderful vacation experience for the whole family . We will definitely be returning to this house rental again.
The house was a great getaway for our two families. The adults loved the many gathering spots in and around the house, and the kids loved the swimming hole and the "sleepover room."
The hosts, Jodi and Preston, and the caretaker, David, were flexible and responsive to ask questions and concerns.
The rooms in the house are huge and full of light. It is even bigger/more impressive than the pictures show. We had 8 people staying there comfortably. It's too bad there aren't more bedrooms in this huge house! The pull - out bed was very soft and lacking any sheets, so that was the only real negative. The house was great for our home base getting ready for our wedding in sequoia.
This home is better than described and offers all the creature comforts needed to enjoy a relaxing vacation in the mountains. We were in town for a family wedding and found this property met all of our needs perfectly. We appreciate the hosts making the property available to our family for the special occasion! Wonderful memories were made this weekend!
