We rent this home every year. It's perfect for our adult children and grandchildren to meet us in AZ for a few weeks enjoy some sunshine and spend time together. House is perfect for large groups. Upscale neighborhood, quit and relaxing. We spend a lot of time in the back yard enjoying the swimming pool, fire place and out door shower!
Owner is responsive and honest.
Everyone had a great time. The property & home were beautiful. The owner was responsive & helpful. Thank you
We had a wonderful time with our family. The house had everything we needed! Great area to vacation.
Home backs to hiking mountain making it super easy to go for a hike in the morning and at night. I love the mountain view from the master bedroom. Had coffee outside everyday waiting the hot air balloons go up! It was breath taking. The guys and I spent hours playing the giant Jenga game in the back yard. It was my first time playing it and boy is it ever fun!
WOW I can not tell you how happy we are with the Rosewood Estate. Super duper CLEAN! It's an excellent location if you have a large group. Marcy was so nice and answered every question in minutes even though she was on holiday herself! We sat outside at night, made a fire and looked up at the stars. Pool was heated which made swimming fun during the day or night.
The house is set up perfectly. The bunk room is HUGE it sleeps 15 people just in that 1 room. We put all the kids together, adults had their own rooms and privacy! We never felt crowned. The house is just gorgeous. We already booked for next year! Can't wait to return
The house itself is nice and has lots of space. However, anything positive stops there. The "bunk room" with "10 twin beds" really has NO BUNKS - only 5 twin beds and 5 twin AIR MATTRESSES shoved under the beds. When I confronted the owner about the missing 5 beds, she called the air mattresses "trundles". Upon arriving the first note you get is telling you how big the fines for noise are after 9pm (note: a large fine threat is not the best tone to set first thing on a trip). The laundry room also had wet dirty rags in it as well as unfinished laundry in the dryer. But the WORST part by far is that the owner controls the AC from her cell phone, so I had to ask Marcy MULTIPLE TIMES EVERY SINGLE DAY to fix the AC. As she will frequently tell you, it is a smart house so if the door is open or not enough movement or if it’s too hot outside, the ac turns off. HOWEVER, several times the outside temp was within her stated threshold, our entire group was up and indoors only (no doors opening/closing) for hours at a time and AC would still shut off. Owner has a different excuse every time, but when you pay to stay in a house, you assume it includes air conditioning (note: thermostat was never set below 75. So I feel that the desired temperature was reasonable). One night the temperature in the house was over 85 for the entire night before we finally got some air at 4am. Our last day, the owner says there was something wrong with the AC and hopes we’ll understand, which we would have if she had not blown us off and left us with no AC all week in mid July before finally getting it fixed. Truthfully, I don't even fully know how much I believe that it was broken and wonder if maybe the owner just didn't want us to leave a terrible review after such terrible service.
This a good size home with an attached casita (has it's own entrance beside the front door of the Rosewood Estate) the home is generally well kept but is a bit older. There were 17 of us on a mini-family reunion vacation staying there and we enjoyed our visit. The bunk room (5 beds, the rest are air mattresses) was great as the kids' room. The other rooms were nice; the ones that had a closet (some were locked shut) only had a couple of hangers though, a few more would have been useful for unpacking some clothing. The rooms have fans and the air conditioning is adjustable. There is a large washer/dryer and plenty of sheets, towels, dishes and cutlery. We especially liked the crock pot buffets; it was great for keeping food warm when cooking for such a large group. We had an issue with the garburator, it's an older system with smaller pipes, but Marcy sent someone to fix it pretty quickly, better to just avoid using it. The pool was a huge hit, warm and clean, and it was great to have shaded seating in the backyard. Marcy was kind and quick to respond to any questions or issues that came up. Overall, we had a great time.
