Why Neroli Lacey chose Tourrettes-sur-Loup
Think of the French Riviera, and what do you see? Celebrities at Cannes Film Festival? Luxury yachts bobbing in St. Tropez harbour? Nice’s Belle Epoque promenades washed by gentle waves? Look beyond the glitter, to find perched villages, citrus groves, and world-class museums where works by artists like Picasso, Matisse, Monet, Dufy, and Cocteau interpret the varied luminous landscapes that you can discover from your luxury villa. In old-school Nice, 19th-century mansions line the Promenade des Anglais, named for the Victorians who holidayed here each winter. Glamorous Cannes alternates luxury boutiques with stretches of golden beach frequented by the jet set. In St. Tropez, sidle up to a portside bar for an icy Ricard as yachts bob beyond the peach-hued houses, or don your sunglasses for a trip to tax-free Monaco, where chic high-rises appear to cling to the cliffs. Inland Grasse has quaint cobbled lanes and a thriving perfume industry.

Really lovely and highly recommended.
We had a wonderful relaxing holiday at this villa. It offered everything we could possibly need to amuse two families with 5 young people between us. The girls sunbathed by the super clean pool and admired the amazing views and the boys played endless games of tennis on the picturesque court. We barely went out except to enjoy picnics and swimming in the river up in the gorges 20 minutes from the house. Everything was very clean but as the villa is about to undergo a major renovation, some items were a bit tatty but nothing serious. Really lovely and highly recommended.
Best vacation ever
We had such an amazing vacation in the villa. Ruth was always available if we had any questions, she is amazing!
It would be difficult to find another villa that really has everything one could need plus this great location.....and next year it will be even better!
Thanks for hosting us!
Wonderful villa with great views
We were two families, 4 adults and 4 teenagers having a wonderful holiday at the villa in October. There was enough space for everyone, great pool area with the heated pool and a stunning sea view. There was everything and more than anyone of us expected. Teenagers enjoyed swimming, tennis, ping pong and movies. We adults had also fun by the pool side and at the tennis court as the sun was shining for most of the week.
Cooking was also easy and fun, the kitchen was well equipped.
The beautiful village was a walk away. We also did some hiking on the marked routes in the area.
Special thank´s to Ruth, who was so kind and helpful!

A great place to be!!
Six of us (three couples) stayed at Maison Des Citron for a week at the end of the summer, and despite the slightly less reliable weather, found the villa offered us everything that had been promised (and even more). It was spotless when we arrived – spectacular in location, and beautifully equipped. We paid a small surcharge for heating the pool, which was well worthwhile as it made it usable throughout every day – even when the air temperature had dropped. We will certainly be back in the future, and hope to enjoy this beautiful house once more!
A Slice of Heaven
What a gem! We feel so fortunate to have been a guest at Maison Des Citrons. The property provided 3 couples the space and privacy needed while creating an atmosphere of camaraderie that you can not find in a typical vacation hotel. The facilities were comfortable and the view unrivaled. Tourrettes Sur Loup is the most charming town with wonderful food, adorable galleries and shops as well as extremely friendly people. It was a perfect home base to explore several towns and cities in the South of France. We would recommend this property to ANYONE interested in a beautiful backdrop for a stellar experience! We can't wait to go back!
Perfect villa, perfect location.
As soon as you arrive at the villa and take in the stunning veiw, you know you're gonna have a great holiday, the villa was really big and spacious and the facilities were really good, loved the tennis court and the table tennis table and the media room was really cool.
But what sets it above other villas is the location, the village of Tourette was an absolute delight, if you're looking for a real taste of France look no further, great restaurants, picturesque streets, polite friendly people to practice your french on.
A short drive will take you to the beaches of the cote d'zur, we particularly enjoyed Juan les pins where you can have lunch on the beach while working on your tan.
The manager Ruth was very helpful and really helped to enhance our stay with her knowledge of the area.
The villa is a lovely, 15 minute walk from the authentic 15th-century village of Tourrettes-sur-Loup, dubbed the ‘city of violets’. Tourrettes-sur-Loup is a delightful medieval village; perched high above the Mediterranean with amazing views, fine restaurants and enchanting artisan shops. Stroll around the cobbled streets and discover the wealth of talent within this artisan community. Walk to the village in the morning for fresh croissants or top up on delightful local produce. Enjoy a Pastis and watch a game of boules in the village square before strolling to one of the many restaurants with terraces, views and stunning food from the traditionally run family bistro, to the gastronomic.
If you decide to venture further, Tourrettes is ideally located for visiting the many well-known tourist spots in Cote d'Azur or, you may even want to pop across to Italy for the day!
Our villa is in the heart of the French Riviera. Close your eyes and think of the Riviera and what do you see? Celebrities at Cannes Film Festival? Luxury yachts bobbing in St. Tropez harbour? Nice’s Belle Epoque promenades washed by gentle waves? Look beyond the glitter, to find perched villages, citrus groves, and world-class museums where works by artists like Picasso, Matisse, Monet, Dufy, and Cocteau interpret the varied luminous landscapes that you can discover from your luxury villa.
One of the many destinations near the villa is GREOLIERES-LES-NEIGES ski resort at the base of the Alps. It is 40 minutes from the villa front door to the chair lift! This affordable ski resort is very popular with the locals because it is so close and the only ski resort where you can stand at the top and see the Mediterranean Sea. The resort offers discount for the 'over 60' crowd. Website is http://www.greolieres.fr.
