Lovely quiet upscale neighborhood and only a mile away from downtown

Perfect quiet neighborhood and plenty of space for my 2 kids, my wife and grandma, the space is very large and the bedrooms are large as well. Jim was very accommodating and helpful for our entire stay.

Fantastic, Clean w/ Special Surprise

Very clean and very well-maintained 3rd floor, 3 BR unit. A/C units and fans kept us cool. Anything we needed was waiting for us. Use of the gas grill was appreciated. A special surprise for our 5 year-old was a 'secret hideout' closet with toys, games and books. Wonderful bakeries and dining within walking distance. Jim and Elizabeth were so kind and immediately responsive to our many questions before, during and after our stay. We 100% recommend!

Awesome stay. Comfortable, clean and safe in a gorgeous and friendly neighborhood.

Space is great and had everything we needed for a week. So nice to have a fully equipped kitchen to have the option of eating in. Very comfortable unit with lots of space. Great for a family. My son loved the secret playroom and the option of playing in the back. In addition a wonderful playground a few blocks away. Family was so friendly and generous. Even let me borrow a bike lock and store our bikes. Walk to a few great cafes and restaurants and easy to get around the rest of town from the place. Perfect stay!

Clean and convenient

Apartment on third floor was well appointed, quiet, and minutes away from downtown. Parking was located off street. Owners are friendly and aim to please. They invited us to their Wednesday block party! Can't go wrong with this rental. Very kid friendly! Highly recommend

Musty smell; could NOT even stay there!

We were very disappointed . There was a strong musty smell that greeted us as we opened the door. Right away I started to get congested and my throat was irritated. I called the owner and she suggested turning on the window units in addition to the three tower fans that were running. There was no change.

There was no way we could stay there. We had to scramble to find alternative lodging at the last minute and ended staying in a hotel which was over our budget. We received only a PARTIAL refund ( which was in a timely manner). Not happy. I would not recommend this unit unless there is something done to rectify this problem.

Owner's Response: We have been renting for 7 years and have never received a complaint like this. We work hard to provide a clean space and have it cleaned professionally weekly by a green cleaning company. We have wood floors, wooden furniture and leather furniture and a few carpets which are easily cleaned. For air quality we have 4 air conditioning units with air filters and several fans to move the air around. We replied right away to our customer as we knew it unsatisfactory and offered a 50% refund right away.

Charming property

The property was clean and well-maintained, large, and felt like home. Elizabeth and James are very nice and great hosts. Located in a very quiet residential neighborhood. I would stay there again.
