My name is Janet and we live in Toronto. Tremblant has been our vacation choice for a number of years and Bondurant has been our favorite property. We are looking forward to getting to know our renters and their expectations and needs. We have also arranged for a local person to handle any questions during your stay. He will also be available for any of your concierge requirements (additional cost paid directly to him) for items like grocery shopping (prior to your arrival or during your stay) or numerous other items to allow your visit to Tremblant to go smoothly.
Janet Wicks purchased this condo in 2013
When we bought this property we renovated to add an edgy element to the space while respecting the solid, traditional features that were built into all of the 15 Bondurant units. We also upgraded all the media set ups to LED smart TV's and added free Netflix's in the living room. We added to the professional kitchen appliances with items like a Juro Espresso maker and separate additional frother for items like hot chocolate ...
Bondurant was built by Intrawest as their highest end property. There are only 15 units in the gated building with an incredible large common hot tub located at the back of the property looking over the picturesque Lac Miroir with its walking trail around the lake. In our last trip two deer peacefully grazed close to the property while we comfortably sat in the hot tub as the snow fell around us.
A few minutes after our hot tub we were in the center of the village deciding where to go for dinner while we visited the shops and picked up some milk at the convenience store.
Exactly as pictured, great proximity to the mountain and located right in the Village. Parking was easy and the space was more than large enough to not make 6 adults and a baby feel cramped. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking and baking needs and the shower water pressure was amazing! David the property manager was very helpful and could answer any question. Owner was very accomdating when we asked to extend our stay and very responsive! Our only restraint from 5 starts is that 2 of the main bars/clubs are about 30ft from the bedrooms. Although there were efforts of sound proofing (or just winterizing the windows) the music's bass was lound enough to disturb your sleep if you are a light sleeper. Also, the trash recepticals could be larger. A family of 6 does produce alot of trash and a 2ft tall bin made for multiple trips to the trash barrel in garage. Overall an amazing space to enjoy Mont Tremblant and would totally recommend!
A beautiful three bedroom, two bathroom unit with indoor parking. Well furnished and a complete kitchen. Located in the heart of the Pedestrian Village with a five minute walk to the ski slopes. This unit is quiet with a view overlooking a lake. It was perfect for us, four adults with a 15 month old granddaughter.
Janet and David were excellent responsive hosts.
I look forward to my next visit.
We had an incredible stay at Mont Tremblant right after Christmas. This was our first time to Mont Tremblant (and Canada). The location of the condo is excellent-easily walkable to everything in town. We used our rental car twice: once to go to the local grocery store (We drove in during an ice storm and thus, did not stop on the way into the village) and second to go on a sleigh ride which was a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk at night). The underground parking garage was so helpful and easy. I should comment again,-underground, private, heated parking garage with your designated spot-awesome.
The communications from the owner, Janet, and the house manager, David were excellent, prompt and attentive. David was accessible by email and texting and offered some very helpful suggestions. The directions to access the condo were concise and easy to follow.
the building felt very private and safe. the condo itself is incredible and decorated and furnished like a 5 star hotel (even better really, my wife was very impressed). the Jura coffee machine was much appreciated! We are a family of 5 and had plenty of room for everyone and our ski clothes. the ski locker was very helpful-right outside the condo unit door. there is also an option to valet your skis on the mountain but for different reasons we ended up bringing everything back to the condo. there is a short walk to get to the base of the mountain from the condo with your ski equipment. you can also walk over to the ski trail that runs down the middle of the village, ski down, and then take the ski lift back up to the base of the mountain to avoid a small but steep hill-this was a cool experience for us though it was quicker to just walk up the hill ultimately. with all of the good food and crepes, we needed the exercise.
We would definitely stay here again. Very positive experience. Thank you Janet and David!
The condo is very nice and confortable
Our summer family vacation was a huge success because we were all so comfortable in this home away from home. Two grandchildren, their parents and my husband and myself could not have asked for a better location in the village. The attention to detail in all the finishings in the condo were second to none....great beds, bedding and plush towels. It was spotless and everything looked brand new.
Air conditioning was fabulous.
The layout of the condo had double doors leading from the living /dining room, to the bedroom area of the apartment so no one was disturbed when the children woke early. We did bring a bed air mattress for the second grandchild which worked well for us as the kids could not share a bed.
The washer dryer was a plus. Kitchen was well appointed and stocked with all the dishes and cooking utensils one would need.
Right in the middle of the village but facing a small lake......quiet and peaceful.
A big thank you to owner Janet and Consierge David.
We spent 4 days and loved every moment of it. If you want a super posh unit then this is the one. High end appliances actually everything high end. Beautiful basket on the granite counter when we walked in, low soft music and beautiful light fixture over dining room table on. It was perfect. These guys know what they are doing. My young adult kids could walk to the bars within a minute. We didn't use the beach so can't comment on that. We are going back next summer. PS David was amazing. Any time I emailed him for information he responded within minutes. The FOX family.
Bondurant is the most prestigious address in the heart of the pedestrian village. It is adjacent to Lac Tremblant, Lac Mercier and right by Lac Mirior with its walking path right outside your door.. The condos are the largest available in the resort village.
Everything is within walking distance since you are right in the Pedestrian village.- Shops, convenience store, restaurants, Movie Theatre, Aqua club La Source, the Gondola which goes to the top of the mountain or the free Cabriolet lift which takes you from the bottom to the top of the village. The area is as busy in the summer as it is in the winter offering everything from white water rafting to mountain hiking, rock climbing, mountain biking, rollerblading, award winning golf courses, maple sugar shacks, Racetrack (Circuit Mont Tremblant), a Casino ( a lift 2 minutes from your door), Farmers market, skyline Lung (gravity luge ride down a concrete track), paintball, Dune Buggy tours, Birds of prey show...
If that isn't enough, just a few miles away, you have an assortment of quaint villages offering more restaurants, shops and insight into this areas rich rural Quebec history.
There is the Le P'tit Train Du Nord - a linear trail system (former railway line.) This 230km (143miles)
maintained trail offers incredible opportunities for cycling, walking and cross country skiing.
The River Du Diable flows through the Mont Tremblant area which also houses the famous Scandinavian spa.
The mountain itself has a vertical drop of 649m (2,131 FT) and has 17 trails and 12 lifts.
Tremblant is an award winning resort and this area offers pretty much anything you would want in a vacation resort not matter what season you want to visit.
