This beautifully remodeled condo in Tyra Summit II is conveniently located next to the Four O'clock ski run and above the Snowflake Lift! Ski-in/ ski out (see photos), walk to downtown Breckenridge only minutes away. Unlike most mega-condo buildings in Breckenridge, this is a quiet condo with only six units in the building. Walk or clip off your skis/ snowboard on the front porch, lock them in the rack and walk in the front door and warm up and gaze at the fire through the glass door woodstove. No long corridors, waiting for elevators or hiking up stairways to contend with!

This condo provides amazing views of the mountains and features a large, private balcony, lots of windows and a glass-front wood stove for those chilly nights (firewood is supplied). Spacious private off-street parking is included (cars, pickups and SUVs welcome).

We acquired and renovated this condo December 2013 and it features newer appliances: flat screen HD TVs, Blu-ray/DVD players, kitchen appliances and the list goes on and on! Even the walls have been textured and new paint throughout. Wireless high-speed internet is included. Well- equipped full sized kitchen with granite tile countertops. Includes range with oven, built-in large microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, dishes, crock-pot, coffee pot, toaster blender, mixer and much more!

Private bedroom featuring a king sized bed with luxurious pillow-top mattress with individual firmness controls for comfort. Bedroom also features flat screen HD TV/Blu-Ray/DVD and window with view of Four O'Clock ski run (across street).

John and Angie are a Colorado couple who love the mountains! We have spent much of our free time in Breckenridge and hiking, biking, skiing and snowshoeing the mountains of Colorado.

Our Christian faith is central to us- we believe in treating others with the love and respect that we would hope others would treat us with. 'Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude' 1 Corinthians 13:4-5.

Why John and Angela Summers chose Breckenridge

We fell in love with this property due to the amazing views, the wildlife, the close proximity to downtown, the large covered private balcony (which is somewhat rare in Breckenridge) and the windows on three sides. The windows create a very bright, airy feel to the unit and there are great views. The location can't be beat- it resides on a dead-end street so traffic is minimal and the neighborhood is very quiet. Plus unlike most of the large complexes in Breckenridge, this one only has six units in the entire building! We like that the parking lot is only a short distance from the front door- no stairwells, long corridors or crowds to contend with.

Super cozy ski in/ski out condo

My husband and I decided last minute to check out the snowboarding at Breckenridge . Because it was pre-season and not a lot of snow, there wasn't the option to ski in/out but that didn't matter - the nearby Snowflake lift was running and we walked there each day. The bus system in Breckenridge is impressive, so we also had no problem getting back to the condo.

The actual condo was so comfortable - there's a great view outside the balcony doors and that's where I'd set up with my laptop during the work day. At night, we used the fireplace daily to warm up and relax before dinner. We didn't want to leave!

John was very responsive and instructions to access the condowere very clear. We will definitely be back again!

The snowfall can be questionable in November, but by mid-December is usually pretty good (this year was certainly an exception, however, we finally received a lot of snow so the base is good now). We agree on the bus system- it is very good with the free buses running all day (including to the grocery store for guests who don't have a car or don't want to drive). We look forward to having you back again!

Great condo and great location

Loved our 1 wk stay in Tyra D-3 during the prettiest time of year in Breckenridge. The aspen trees were absolutely gorgeous! The view was very nice. The condo itself was excellent. I wouldn't say that walking to town was the preferred mode of transportation. To town is a nice walk, but its a little far and a little steep on the return. But its easy enough to drive the short distance. Condo was very clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. We didn't care much for the bed, but you can't please everyone when it comes to that. I highly recommend Tyra D-3!

Owner's Response: Fall is one of the hidden treasure seasons of Breckenridge- so beautiful this time of the year! As for the walk downtown, it is a bit of a walk (especially if you aren't acclimatized to the altitude), but it is do-able. One of our favorite hikes in the summer is to hike the gondola route down to town, loop through town and back up to the condo. Or we will take the gondola up to Peak 8, then hike back down the Four O'Clock run to the condo (you may want to use your GPS on your phone as it is easy to get a bit lost). As for the bed, we chose the individually- controlled firmness model as we know so many people like different bed styles.
