Casa Polin is a characteristic rustic cottage, set in the stunning and tranquil Andalucía countryside. It is fully refurbished as a detached cottage to accommodate 2 people for self-catering or bed and breakfast. It has a traditional style, which will let you enjoy very comfortable holidays. The cottage is extremely spacious and of high quality, within its extensive grounds which include a large swimming pool set in the olive grove and outstanding views of the surrounding Serrania of Ronda. Ronda can be reached by car within 15 minutes. Ronda is one of the oldest towns of Spain, famous for culture, shopping, music, restaurants and its many 'tapa' bars scattered throughout the town. To Jerez, where an airport is located, you drive about 90 minutes. The same is with Seville and Málaga. It is one hour to the beaches of Costa del Sol and Costa de la Luz. A drive to Córdoba will take you 2 hours, to Granada 2.5 hours. In our valley you will find a very calm area for total relaxation.

Incredible, the perfect hosts
We’ve just returned from an exceptional 3 night stay with the Polins just outside Ronda. They’re the perfect hosts & along with the many animals the place felt like home.
Fantastic views & within easy reach of Ronda.
Within 5 minutes my partner said “we’re coming back here!!”
Beutiful Andalusian cottage. Friendly welcome
The cottage is a lovely simple design? ideal for people who love artistic surroundings. We thpught it very beautiful. There are incredible views and the country surrounding the cottage has a savage beauty that is hard to grow tired of. When swimming in the gorgeous pool we could see the ruins of Ronda la Vieja on the horizon. The Polins gave a very warm and friendly welcome and made our stay very special. They were helpful and provide answers to any questions we had. The olive groves that surround the cottage and the animals who come to greet you every time you come back give a flavour of the real countryside we were staying in. Fabulous
The apartment is really beautiful, nicely decorated, equipped with everything you need and very clean. The setting is lovely, looking out onto fields and hills. Mikey and Maria are lovely people, who are very generous and welcoming. There is so much to do in the area, from visiting different nearby villages to taking a tour around the local bodegas. Amazing trip in all!
Thankyou very much to Mares & Miki for being such wonderful hosts, they made us feel so welcome from the first moment we met. The casita is charming and (as we stayed in the winter) no expense or facility was spared to ensure we were warm and comfortable. The area is a total relaxing pleasure so away from it all, yet close to all the amenities of Ronda. An excellent base to discover the wonderful villages and sites in the area, Zahara with its amazing view of the lake, Grazalema, Acinipo (roman ruins) , Senetil de la Bodegas (thanks for the recommendation Miki!) all within easy reach.
Thank you very much for coming. You are wonderful people and hopefully we will see again!
We had a great four days at the Finca. The hosts were welcoming and friendly. Communication was excellent. It's hard to describe the beauty of the place inside and out. It felt welcoming each time we returned from our day's adventures. Take the hikes to the village of Sentenil and the Acipino ruins if you get the chance. We even spent one whole day inside next to the woodstove due to inclement weather and a desire to recuperate and relax. This has been the highlight of our months in Spain.
We left feeling human again
Mares, Miki, the dogs and the horses made us feel so welcome, so relaxed. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, including the loan of clothing because we forgot to take knitwear. Can't wait to return and just chill out amongst the olive groves and the sheer tranquillity of the setting. Awesome.
Acinipo: The archaeological site of Acinipo is located over one big limestone hill of a tertiary origin, having a middle height of 999 m over the sea level. This rise at the valley of Ronda gave it an important strategic value, which was specially considered at the Pre Roman age when the human settlement had to be established. Ronda: Rising amid a ring of dark angular mountains is the Andalucía town of Ronda. Built on an isolated ridge of the sierra, it is split in half by the gaping river gorge of the River Tajo with a sheer drop of 130m on three sides. Grazalema: In 1977 UNESCO declared the Grazalema Natural Park a Reserve of the Biosphere in recognition of its astounding natural values. The limestone rock forms spectacular features of immense caves, crags and canyons while a dense Mediterranean forest of cork oak, common oak and wild olive covers and fills the landscape.
