About Randy & Nanci Johnson

Randy & Nanci both grew up on rural Wisconsin farms in St. Croix County, WI. We have lived in Hudson, WI since 1987 and the same home since 1992. We have raised all our children in Hudson. Hudson, WI is on the St. Croix River and is a small charming Historic town with a Marina, Hudson is known as the bedroom community to Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN. Randy has worked at Andersen Windows all his life since he graduated in 1977 and can retire in May of 2015. Nanci is currently a licensed Realtor/Broker Associate in WI & MN for Edina Realty, Inc. and has been providing Real Estate Services since 1992. We have owned rental property and decided it was time to sell in WI and fell in love with The Villages, Florida area so we did a 1031 exchange and purchased our new Designer Wisteria home in October of 2013 in The Village of Collier near the new Brownwood Paddock Square.

Why Randy & Nanci Johnson chose The Villages

During our search for the perfect home we fell in love with this home and decided this was the one for us. We loved the open space and the expresso finish on the cabinets along with the screened lanai screened with landscaping. Loved birdseye view of golfers from our breakfast nook of Sandhill Executive Course. The Owner's sweet was nice size and offered a large walk-in closet and the loved the double counter height sink vanity and the walk in large tiled shower. Our home has a double garage and is surrounded by many homes that would be considered much higher in value than ours so that definitely was a plus. What sealed the deal was that we could access a shortcut golf cart trail that would give us a short 3 minute ride to Brownwood Paddock Square right behind the Regional new Eisenhower Rec Center as well as around the corner from The Collier Neighborhood Pool. We loved the idea that in three to 5 years everything will be still fresh and more mature!

We loved everything about the home and felt this would be perfect for anyone who would like to come down and enjoy The Villages. New and fresh in a great location.

Fall in The Villages

My husband and I stayed at this property in the Village of Collier for the month of October. It is a very clean and lovely home !! We especially liked all of the amenities that added a very nice touch. We didn't have to rush out to buy soap, shampoo and conditioner, kleenex, toilet paper, laundry detergent, etc., as it was provided. We also liked the solar lighting in the living room and coffee every morning on the lanai was a real treat for us !!

This home is extremely convenient for grocery shopping and for stepping out in the evening at Paddock Square. The nachos at City Fire are to die for !!!!!!!! We would definitely recommend this property to our friends and family !

We loved this property!!

When we arrived at this property. Don and BK (the property managers) came and welcomed us. They went over everything with us which was very helpful. If we needed anything, all we had to do was call them. We were so impressed with this house. It is very clean and well kept. It made staying there so comfortable and enjoyable. We felt so at home. it is only a five minute drive to Brownwood by golf cart. It is within walking distance to The Eisenhower Center. There is also a nice walking path there too. We loved the Collier pool which is nearby. We met a lot of friendly and nice people at the pool. Lots of shopping and nice restaurants also. We would highly recommend this property to anyone who likes staying in The Villages. We definitely would stay here again. Thank you Randy and Nanci for renting your beautiful home to us.

Great property

This property is a great place to stay. It is close to Brownwood Paddock Square (20 minutes walking distance) and so easy to get to. Very spacious and beautifully kept. I highly recommend renting this property and would do so again if back in the area.

Beautiful Village Home

Settling in this home was like moving into a four star hotel. Everything we needed to feel at home was provided. The location was great and easy to get to 14 executive golf courses, restaurants, entertainment squares, grocery stores and shopping. I loved the open floor layout of the home and decor. I certainly would love to rent it again.

This was a terrific home in a great location and would highly recommend.

The property was everything as advertised. I could have lived their full time and been happy. The location of the home is within walking distance to the Eisenhower regional recreation center, the Collier neighborhood pool and 3 of the Executive courses. The home provided a very clean place to live, great sized bedrooms, lots of dishes and linens, large color flat screen TV and best of all a very nice lanai to sit in in the evenings or mornings. The homeowners were extremely nice and helpful and the check in process was very easy as was the departure. Excellent gas golf cart available for rental and use. Although we did not use them, there were 2 bikes in the garage for use. Neighbors were nice and friendly. All kinds of shopping and restaurants nearby. It was very hard to leave. I would highly recommend The Villages and this house was super.

Everything about the property was top notch. Don the property manager was there shortly after we arrived and showed us how everything worked in the house, which was very clean and tidy, thanks to Don's wife B.K and her cleaning team. Actually, we where able to check in a bit early which was nice.

The golf cart of the Owners was great because 4 people can ride on it, but it is easy to convert to hold golf bags. We didn't rent a car so the golf cart was our transportation for the week. Everything was close ... grocery store, restaurants and the recreation centre.The house was well equipped with all new appliances and BBQ, well stocked for cooking and dining if you should choose to eat in. The beds where very comfortable.

The only issue we had was that there was not a landline to make local phone calls,and to book tee times. (We are from Canada and roaming is expensive.) Booking tee times on line was a bit of a challenge. We will know for next time how the system works. Funny thing we had to show I.D. at the golf course when we arrived.

We rented with friends and enjoyed exploring the villages, lots to do, but a week is not enough.

The owners where great to deal with always got back to us in a timely fashion.
