Superbly Located On Ocean Blvd directly across from the Pacific Ocean and Bluff Park with steps to the Beach across the Street

This Home was recently remodeled throughout. There are Hardwood Floors throughout the Living Areas and Stone in all Bathrooms.

The Property is the Entire Ground Floor only.

When you walk through the Front door you will enter into an Ocean View Living Room which is Bright and Open, you will see The Gourmet Kitchen with Ocean Views which is a Chefs delight with All the Appliances needed. There is Center Island with Carrera Marble and Bistro Seating for 4.Through an Archway, you enter the Dining Room which has seating for 10 with partial Ocean Views. There are doors to the Outside from the Living Room, Kitchen & Dining Room which for allows Great Entertaining.

The Front Patio has built in seating to relax and enjoy a glass of wine at sunset and a Firepit.

All Bedrooms have something different to offer,

*The Blue Room has an Ocean View with a Queen Bed

*The Jacuzzi Suite has an Oversized Jet Tub & Shower that leads to the Rear Patio and Garden with a Queen Bed

*The Canopy Suite features a Mombasa with a CA King Bed & the Bathroom has a Large shower.

*The Patio Room leads directly onto the Rear Patio, with a Queen Bed

* The Ocean View Living Room has 2 Sofa Beds,

*Additional Queen Airbeds are available upon amount of guests staying or Per Request

*All doors have extra locking devices to Protect young children.

*The Gated Private Garden is large for Kids to run around and dogs to Play, with a rear deck and Outside Dining Area and a Propane BBQ & 2 Firepits , propane and wood are the honor system , Guesta take a bit and leave a bit.

I just love the Long Beach location, You can be In LA or Orange County so quickly its so in the middle, which is great for both business and fun. its so convenient. Also the people here are so diverse and friendly.

What makes this villa unique

I fell in love with this home for the View and the Architecture and that you can walk to Second street & the Beach with shops & restaurants only 3 blocks away.

Great experience

We had s great time. The house is awesome. Its an older historic home with tons if charm. Very comfortable and lots to do within walking distance. We had an awesome bbq lunch in the backyard using the provided grill.

Susan was super attentive and a pleasure to do business with. Highly recommended!!

Huge disappointment

First off, "newly remodeled" is code for "old home." The hardwood floors need to be replaced, not refinished. Huge gaps between boards, holes in the wood, and exposed nailheads that I actually cut my foot on the first night we were there. It's impossible to clean the floors enough the remove all of the dirt stuck in the cracks of the floor, which is super exciting when there are 4 little kids crawling on the floor and playing.

Next, the chef's delight kitchen. The island marble was likely never sealed, as there are patches of stains/scuffs that cannot be cleaned. The dishwasher has a layer of scum in it, as it's likely never been sanitized/cleaned. The water pressure in the kitchen is variable, from a slow trickle to a medium stream. And the silverware looks like it was collected from a few flea markets in Watts...tarnished, hodgepodge collection of unmatched silverware. Seriously, spend the $20 at WalMart for a complete set that doesn't look 50 years old.

The front door has been kicked in on the bottom left, and the glass has been replaced with some plywood. A few of the windows don't lock. So we had to take our valuables with us every time we left the house. A few of the doorknobs don't work, specifically in one of the bathrooms...nothing like sitting on the toilet without being able to keep the door closed! My wife's hair straightener tripped the circuit every time she used it, so we continually had to remove a picture to get to the fusebox.

One of the bathrooms has no shower curtain, so there'd be a constant puddle on the floor. The smoke alarms in every room are great...if they'd have been attached. All of them were removed, leaving exposed wires. Also, the other renters are well within earshot. The stairwell for the upstairs unit goes right past a headboard in one of the bedrooms, and the walls are not insulated. Small kids above you means you're up when they're up. Not exactly what I expected when we rented a "house."

The parking situation is less than ideal. The garage is tiny, so don't expect to rent an SUV and have a protected parking spot. Also, ONE set of keys for 10 people in the house was, at the least, very inconvenient.

I've run out of space (I've got plenty more to say), so I'll say this: This house is not worth the money. The other reviews that say this is a beautiful home are clearly friends/relatives writing reviews for this owner. I have never stayed somewhere that was so clearly a downgrade from my personal home. HORRIBLE.

Owner's Response: Unfortunately Kevin could not be pleased no matter what I did. He & I made arrangements to meet shortly after check in.I went over there, kevin was not there & his family were surprised to hear of his complaints as they loved the home & apologized for his behaviour & said that he was always like this. In hopes of satisfying Kevin, I went over his issues with his family. *The floors:They are finished in a weatherly look & he thought that they were dirty,I took a paper towel & water & showed that they were clean, there was 1 nail that I fixed then. *The Kitchen is Carrera Marble, I Resand & Reseal it every 6 months at. I cannot do it more than that, the marble will wear down & guests do spill items on the center island, so there are some erosion marks there, not really anywhere else as this is the main counter used by guests often. *The Kitchen Faucet was Twisted the wrong way & a quick adjustment corrected the water pressure right way. *When I looked at the dishwasher it had steam built up on it from them using it, its a Fisher & Paykal 2 drawer dishwasher & is cleaned after every check out I promise. * Silverware: guests take a lot of it, I do replace it often, maybe there was some inexpensive ones left from another guest but I will check on it & make sure that only the good stuff is there :) *Smoke detectors are checked on, there was 1 exposed as it went off on the prior guest & they took the battery out & it was not replaced by the time these guests checked in & I could not send anyone over there to do it while they were there.(sorry could not do it myself). *The front Door got damaged at the bottom panel by a wind storm that we had about 3 weeks ago, also 3 wood panels of the fence blew off as it was a bad storm & a new one is on order.. its an historic home & the door had to be approved by city and this took some time. * I checked all locks on windows & guests do damage locks at times, so 3 were replaced the day of check in. * Noise from other guests.. the home was originally built in the early 1900's and When i remodelled I did insulation per the city codes..Historical homes have character that a vast Majority of guests appreciate, Just not kevin... * Garages .. they built them small back then... but there are 4 that are able to accommodate most vehicles, if its a big one, there is an exterior space and plenty of street parking. Hope this helps you understand I do try to please everyone & this home is my pride and Joy..I am so sorry for Kevin.

Gorgeous location!

This house is a beautiful location! Close by absolutely everything and super close to beach access. Amazing view! House is kept up and updated. Well stocked and very clean. Beautiful quiet backyard and house is decorated beautifully too. Would stay here again!! Only downside at all was that you could occasionally hear the upstairs neighbors. That's to be expected though! Great bang for your buck! Susan was very helpful as well :)

Far exceeded our expectations!

Our stay at this villa was beyond what we expected. It was the perfect location, we walked the beach every morning. The property was spotless and the owner was in contact with us immediately upon arrival. We never had an issue yet she would text to be sure everything was fine. We had plenty of dishes, glasses, and cooking utensils. We had 8 people and we were all very comfortable. We used the back and front porches. The perfect place for Friends to gather and Family gatherings as well. Thank you Susan for helpng us to celebrate our 19 year of our Friends Reunion and making it one of the best yet!

I recommend this Villa highly! You will not be dissapointed.

Perfect Home for a Getaway

What a beautiful home for our pre-wedding cruise. The backyard was a pleasant surprise: Grill, outdoor eating, night lighting, seating, etc...

The beach is a quick hop and jump away. The kitchen was amazing with plenty of utensils and glass ware.

Susan was always attentive to our needs. She was feeling under the weather but still did everything a great landlord does.

Check out this place. Bring beach clothes. Weather was 95 degrees during our stay.

Worst experience ever...would never rent from her again!!

Although this home was beautiful there were lots of issues; the property owner was the biggest issue of all & near impossible to communicate with.This home has NO AIR CONDITIONING!!! It was really hot in the home; mid to upper 80's inside. She said to open the windows to get a cross breeze.There are no windows that actually open up in the front of the house where the breeze would come from unless you would leave the front door open.The side & back widows were blocked by the fence& hardly any breeze would come through.We couldn't open most of the windows because either the locks were broken or there weren't any screens on them.Although we felt safe in the home we didn't feel safe enough to leave the windows open at night.We had kids sleeping & there were lots of homeless people & drifters sleeping just outside the home.We ended having to buy extra fans because she only supplied the house with 1.There were not enough towels & toilet paper in the home &no garbage bags or paper towels. We ended up washing towels almost daily. The propane tank was empty & we had to supply that as well. We paid for 2 garage spots in advance. When we arrived she said our friend's minivan wouldn't fit into the garage so he could park in the alley on the side of the house &the renter's above us would take the garage. My husband had a motorcycle &I had a tiny Corolla. This garage is so tiny I had a hard time fitting the Corolla into it.My husband parked the motorcycle in the garage out of safety & I parked behind the garage blocking it in. We had no garage door openers &the only way in was to have a key to the gate. We had 3 families &1 key,not very practical,we had to sometimes jump over the gate to get in.

She later REFUSED our damage deposit because she decided she would charge us extra for parking being that we parked in the alley & I blocked myself into the garage. She never disclosed there would be a charge. We paid a large cleaning fee & said she will charge us extra for cleaning because of sand. It's a beach house & she supplied no vacuum!!! We left the house in better condition than when we arrived! She charged us for damages that were there when we arrived in which we took pics of upon our arrival. We paid for insurance but she never gave us necessary paperwork required to file a claim even though we didn't damage anything. SCAM!! SHE REFUSES TO RESPOND!!!Location is nice but the beach was dirty save your money & go to seal beach instead.WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

Belmont plaza Outdoor Pool is also less than a 10 min walk away.

The Broadway strip with shops, Restaurants bars is only 3 blocks away,it's an easy walk.

The supermarket is a 5 min walk

Second Street is a 10 min walk.

Also the Red passport bus which takes you to all attractions in Long Beach, is 80 yards away and runs till midnight.
