A Warm And Cozy 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath Condo Within Walking Distance To The Slopes
This newly renovated condo in the Summit complex lets you come home to a roaring fire and beautiful sunsets over the mountains after a day on the slopes at Snowshoe. We have installed brand new floors throughout, and have brought in furniture and fixtures to make sure your stay is relaxing and comfortable. The unfinished pine trim gives the feeling of being in a mountain lodge.
Using a large set of stairs , the condo is within walking distance to Snowshoe's Village where you can find excellent restaurants and charming shops, as well as a Starbucks to warm yourself up. There is also a free shuttle that takes you to both the slopes and the Village if you would prefer not to walk up the large set of stairs to get there.
The kitchen is fully equipped, making it easy and convenient to make a family meal with range, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, etc. Cooking utensils, dishes and spices are also provided. If you prefer to leave the hassle of cooking behind, the restaurants in the Village are a short walk or free shuttle ride away.
The master bedroom has a queen bed, a large dresser, and a full bath with a double vanity. The second bedroom has a full bed, and a large dresser. The third bedroom has two sets of bunk beds for four kids. The large family room has a 46' flat screen with a DVD player, although we are limited to Snowshoe's cable offerings which do not include HD. But the highlight of the condo is a gas fireplace to warm up your toes in the evening. There is a dining table that fits 8 people that sits next to the window, affording you the chance to enjoy the beautiful view. The deck right off the living area faces west to enjoy the beautiful vista.
A washer and dryer are in the condo, to dry out any wet ski clothes, and some simple amenities such as spices and coffee make all the difference when you are away from home.
Parking couldn't be more convenient, no need to unload and then drive off to a far off parking lot as there is parking right in front of the condo.

About Karrie Mullen
Russ has been visiting Snowshoe for twenty years, and now the whole family looks forward to our ski trips and summer adventures on the mountain. The beautiful views, the wildlife, hiking, and of course skiing are some of our favorite activities.
Why Karrie Mullen chose Snowshoe
We know the mountain well, and Summit is a great place to be close to the Village but still have a little seclusion and it has without a doubt the best views on the mountain. We love to bring the whole family and a few friends without feeling like we are cramped into a shoebox! There are daily visits of deer, you are almost guaranteed to see them walking by the condo each day of your stay with us.

Great views and easy access to slopes and village
We had a great time, condo is close to slopes and village. Only a few issues with stay, upon arrival condo had not been cleaned from previous guests, we were told housekeeping left early for day however property owner and house keeping were quick to get situation fixed and offered a late check out in return. Had issues with tv in bedrooms, was told unable to use due to cable issues. Jim came by to fix the main tv and is super friendly and helpful. The condo needs a few repairs but considering we were there to play in the snow it didn’t matter to us. It slept 8 with ease. I would recommend bringing own food and cook there as wait times are long and nearest grocery store is about 30mins away. We were told this ahead of time thank goodness! I use Verizon and no signal there, but landlines were accessible and free of charge. The deer were a nice daily visit which kids loved and am sure their bellies are full of carrots and bread. Great trip and would definitely stay again!! Property owner was prompt in responses from start to finish.
Nice place, convenient, comfortable
My wife and son (2.5 yrs.) enjoyed staying here with four of our friends. My son loved the deer out the back porch in the morning, and the kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked and clean. The stairs to the lifts were not as bad as some people made them seem, and the buses come every 10-15 minutes most of the day, so a couple times we didn't even make it to the stairs before a friendly bus driver picked us up and took us to the top.
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It is within walking distance of the main village with shops and restaurants and the top of the ski hill. Condo is clean and the kitchen with big table is very nice.
Awesome Time at Snowshoe
We had a great time enjoying the skiing at Snowshoe. The condo was located near the village town center. You can really notice all of the personal touches the owner has placed in the unit. The mitten/glove tree worked great to dry out our gloves and mittens when we placed it near the gas fire. We also really appreciated all of the hooks to hang our gear on to dry out. We cooked each day of our visit and were able to find the appropriate pan or dish that we were looking for.
We're glad you had such a great time! We look forward to having you back again!
Clean and family friendly condo
We had a wonderful vacation in Snowshoe WV. This condo was perfect for our family vacation. The owner also was very helpful and worked with me on changing dates at the last minute. The condo quickly became homey to us with all the amenities .
Great Location, Great Owners
We had planned on coming up the Friday that the blizzard hit the east coast, but the roads leading into Snowshoe were projected to get up to 3 feet of snow starting that morning. The owner emailed us early in the week and offered to let us come up Thursday and not be charged, and we couldn't be more grateful. We all got in late Thursday, and it snowed for the next day and a half, accumulating over three feet of powder. The skiing was amazing, the location was great, and we really loved the huge living room with a couch that three could lay down on at once and nice fireplace. Would definitely recommend - the place is great and the owners are amazing!
The condo is right at the top of the mountain, and has beautiful views of the western mountains. It is within walking distance of Snowshoe's slopes and The Village by ascending a very large set of stairs. There is also a shuttle that will drive you to the slopes if you don't want to walk. It is a short drive down the mountain for golf during the summer.
