With so many crowded condos in the area, this is a perfect antidote to the spring break atmosphere! At 600 square feet, this bungalow is open and spacious, with 1 bedroom and 1 bath. Everything has been renovated and this is a beachy paradise! There's a full kitchen with stove, microwave and full-size fridge. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed and dresser with mirror. The living room and bedroom both open up onto the balcony and you'll have amazing views of both the sunrise and the sunset! You'll have everything you need if you want to prepare gourmet meals at home, even though we know you'll enjoy many amazing meals at our wonderful area restaurants. Our property is meticulously maintained and we love sharing it with people who appreciate that and care for our property as if it were their own. Because this is a second-story unit, you can open the windows and patio doors and bask in the cool ocean breezes. And because you won't share walls with anyone, you'll have delicious, romantic privacy. And Middleton is in a quiet little neighborhood with very little through traffic. We have plenty of off-street parking, and you can BRING YOU BOAT OR MOTORCYCLE or other toys and park them right on site! Please note there is no cable TV, but we do have a Smart TV with lots of free apps for movies, news and music.
Endless Summer Getaway is just a short two-block walk to the beach or the intracoastal. You can also drive on the beach if you have a 4-wheel drive vehicle. When you walk up to the beach, you can enjoy great food and drinks at Paula's Beachside Grill or South Beach Grill. There's also a Kangaroo Gas Station and convenience store on the corner of A1A where you can get essentials and gas for your outdoor toys! If you're into good old Florida honkey tonks, you're just a short walk to the Sandbar. And you can enjoy live music at Paula's and the Sandbar too. There's just so much you can do within 2 blocks and yet you will not be in the middle of a touristy area! But just a few miles down the road you can still enjoy all the great tourist attractions we have here in St. Augustine! It really is the best of everything! And you're two blocks from the 206 so if you need to get back to I-95, you're only 6 miles straight up the road! Because Endless Summer Getaway backs up to A1A, you can hop on A1A and head north and be in downtown St. Augustine in just a few minutes or head south and you'll be off the south end of the island in under 5 miles.
If you're a boater, you can launch at the free Green Road boat launch which is 2 blocks from Endless Summer Getaway. You can take your power boat or your kayak and have hours of fun exploring along the waterway. In just a 5 mile boat ride, you can be in the Atlantic or you can tie up and spend the day on an uninhabited island! If you like to ride, you're just about 20 miles south on A1A to Flagler Beach, where you'll find lots of motorcycle-friendly pubs and eateries with amazing ocean views. Just another 25 miles and you'll be in Daytona Beach!
If you like to shop, you'll find tons of great unique items on the island and in historic downtown. If you're a bargain hunter, hop on I-95 and head north 10 miles to the outlet malls. If you're a golfer, you're close to lots of great courses, including the World Golf Village which is just a short 20 miles away! There are always free or almost-free festivals to attend and live music all over town!
There's just so much to do here in St. Augustine, and we love it here so much that we just had to share our Endless Summer Getaway with the people we care about. We love to meet new people and make new friends and if you fall in love with Endless Summer Getaway like we did, we hope to see you again and again!
When we finished our renovations in December 2013, I had a hard time convincing my husband NOT to move in right away! LOL! Thankfully we live just a mile north in our own little beach bungalow and we can enjoy the same beach lifestyle every day! We are blessed and thankful to call St. Augustine, Anastasia Island, Crescent Beach HOME and we hope you feel like Endless Summer Getaway is your Home Away From Home!
After calling New Orleans home for 37 years, I moved to St. Augustine in the summer of 2012 and married the love of my life. My husband was living in Ringgold, GA and had a getaway place here in Crescent Beach. When we starting dating in 2008 we came here regularly to spend time at the beach and get away from work and the 'real world.' When my oldest daughter got married and my youngest finished her first year of college, we decided to move to our Happy Place full-time. We got married in the summer of 2013 and are enjoying life to the fullest here in the most amazing place on earth!
Angi Bell purchased this bungalow in 2012
We bought the property on Middleton as investment for today and home for tomorrow. We are planning on buying a home in Belize and when we retire we want to have Endless Summer Getaway as our American home. Crescent Beach means a lot to us because it's where we fell in love. We love how quiet it is here and yet how close it is to everything St. Augustine has to offer! Being able to walk to the beach was a MUST and being able to launch our boat close to home was a big factor to us as well. The island is really skinny here in Crescent Beach so we have amazing breezes and are always just a quick walk to the water on both sides!
When you walk out onto the balcony at Endless Summer Getaway in the morning, you'll hear the waves and see the sun rise and your coffee will taste so much better! When you walk out onto the balcony in the evening with your glass of wine, you'll see the most amazing sunsets and feel the sexiest breezes. mmmmmm…..
The property was even better than we had expected- and a very good size! It was clean and tastefully decorated and furnished. The beach is super close. And the property owners were more than accommodating and helpful. I have already recommended this rental to family and friends, We had a fantastic time!
Had a great time and the accomadations were just as advertised. Had plenty of parking for car, truck, boat, and a motorcycle and had a great time. Thank u Angi and Jay
This bungalow was amazing. It was clean, thoughtfully decorated, and well equipped with everything my husband and I needed for our vacation. The location is great with the beach within walking distance and tons of restaurants (we really enjoyed Blackfly) and attractions (mini golf, Ripley's museum, ghost hunting, pirate adventures, etc.) just a short drive away. And if you want to enjoy a lazy day at home you can curl up on the couch and watch Netflix. I also loved having my morning coffe on the balcony. The only cons were that occasionally there were alot of cars making parking awkward and that the washer/dryer could use an upgrade. Besides that everything was wonderful. I would definitely recommend it and we will certainly be back.
The location was near the Crescent City Beach the only access is walking or four wheel drive vehicle. The was only about 2 blocks and the beach was nicer than St Augustine. The house was nicely furnished and had all the household items you would need for a stay. The bed was very comfortable. The location is close to St Augustine and short drive to Daytona Beach. The only con was how close the unit is to the adjacent apartments. Twice the amount of cars at the apartments made the parking location confusing. The neighbors were quiet and it was peaceful, but building is very close to the unit.
Very clean and well equipped bungalow. The only thing that was a bit strange was the fact it faced the opposite direction of all the other houses on the street. Super clean, which we really appreciated. Quiet area and close to many attractions.
Perfect location for walking to the beach. It was just what we needed for our honeymoon wk away and really didn't want to leave. And we will most definitely be back.
St. Augustine is one of the most loved and visited places in Florida! As the nation's oldest city, we have amazing historical sites and museums! Our beaches are beautiful, and if you have a 4-wheel drive, you can still drive on the beach! (And they're never crowded!) Anastasia Island has so much to do! From fun bars and restaurants and nightlife, to boutiques and boating, we have it all! And talk about romantic! So much of St. Augustine is walkable which makes it so easy to get around! If you love outdoor activities, you'll love the beaches and surfing, kayaking and fishing in the intracoastal, boating everywhere, golf, biking, we have it all! Don't miss the Castillo de San Marco, the oldest schoolhouse, Flagler College, the Lightener Museum, the beautiful waterfront downtown, Fort Matanzas, Anastasia Island State Park, St. Augustine Beach, all within 10 miles! My favorite places to enjoy a drink and great food are South Beach Grill, The Conch House, Blackfly, Mango Mangos, Spy, The Columbia, Mi Casa, A1A Burrito Works, O C White's, Matanzas Inlet, and so many more! Some of the best bars include Paula's Beachside, Sandbar, Red Frog & McToad's, Ann O'Malley's, A1A Ale Works, the San Sebastian Winery, and so many more! There's great shopping at Simple Gestures, Rembrandtz, Metalartz, and many great shops on the island and downtown! Check out the Alligator Farm and Marineland! There are beautiful old churches throughout the historic area and lots of historic homes to visit! But of course nothing beats a relaxing day at the beach! Ride you bike over and be prepared to fall in love!!!
