About the property

Casa Azul Has An Amazing Infinity Pool, 4 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, And Maid Service.

The Villa is conveniently located on the Manuel Antonio road about halfway between Quepos and Manuel Antonio. It is in a small development of lovely homes. From the home it is one mile to the town, two miles to the beach, and three miles to Manuel Antonio park. It is located near the best hotels with many good restaurants nearby.

The views from the villa and pool are special. To the west is the Pacific ocean, to the north and east are rainforest mountains. The lights from the town of Quepos can be viewed at night.

The design and decor of Casa Azul are a blend of Costa Rican and Mediterranean. The home has a unique charm.

The Villa is spacious and comfortable. It can accommodate up to ten guests with space, comfort, and privacy for all.

The home has four bedrooms. The Master has an orthopedic king bed and an adjoining bath. There is a second bedroom with an orthopedic queen on the same level as the master. There is also a second bath on this level. A third bedroom is off the main level. It has an orthopedic queen plus an oversize twin bunk bed with a king on the bottom and a queen on the top. The fourth bedroom is off the pool level and has its own bath. All beds have new toppers and protective covers for both beds and pillows.

All bedrooms and the main living area are air conditioned with individual thermostats. There are also ceiling fans in each area.

The main area is open and consists of the living, dining, and kitchen areas. There are many large Mediterranean style windows that provide a panoramic view. A door opens from the living area onto a full length balcony on the rear of the house. The views are amazing from here. The temperature allows constant use. The mornings are special as the birds are active while the sun lghts up the mountains. There are two tables and eight chairs on the balcony as well as a gas grill.

The pool is a large infinity style with a full view of the ocean, town, and mountains. The pool is totally private. The depth is five feet throughout, good for swimming but requiring supervision of children who cannot swim. The pool area and the pool itself are lighted and can be enjoyed at night. There are eight comfortable loungers plus three seating areas with additional chairs. There are areas of sun and areas of shade at the pool area.

The kitchen is fully stocked with all utensils and cooking pots and pans. There is a gas stove, an ice maker, a coffee maker, a toaster, a blender, a microwave, and a dishwasher. All the appliances are updated.

New, tropical landscaping for the property attracts many species of birds, butterflies, and monkeys. One of our favorite things is to sit on the balcony in the morning and enjoy the Scarlet Macaws, Toucans and brightly colored smaller birds. Sometimes a troupe of squirrel monkeys comes thru. They are very cute, especially the little ones.

Parking is at the villa. There are two covered spots and parking for two more on the street in front. The street is used only by us and a couple of neighbors.

There is a security fence around the Villa with lockable gates and an alarm system. There is a safe to secure your valuables.

There is daily maid service except Sundays included in the price. Yaha, our domestic engineer, will make sure the house is tidy and you have fresh towels when you return from your excursions.

The manager and concierge team, Sabrina Segal and CR Vacation team will be available for you 24/7 during your stay. Their services are included in the rates.

A chef will come to the Villa and prepare your meals for a reasonable price, menus are available.

Casa Azul has an ample supply of quality towels and linens including towells for the pool and towels for the beach. There is a laundry room with a washer and dryer on site. If you prefer, the maid will do your personal laundry for a tip.

Sabrina's team will help you with your Costa Rica travel arrangements, meet you upon your arrival, go over the house operation with you, help you plan your activities and provide whatever help you may need.

We have a relationship with the tour companies and in most cases they will pick you up at the house.

We have another house in Pajaro Azul called Casa Moreno. It is similar in size and layout to Casa Azul and can also accommodate ten people. It is in easy walking distance of Casa Azul. If you have a large group, both houses will work well. You can see Casa Moreno on vrbo.com/793172.

We sold our vacation place in Florida in 2013 and decided to find a new vacation place in Central America. After much research, we decided on Costa Rica. After more local research in Costa Rica, we decided on the Manuel Antonio area. We fell in love with Casa Azul and we believe you will too.

We like to have a warm get away spot. We use the house often ourselves. We also bring our family on a regular basis.

We are meticulous owners who try to do things right.

There are many reasons why we choose this property.

First, because of the natural beauty and diversity of the area. We were stunned by the views from the house. It is panoramic with the ocean, mountains, and the town of Quepos.

Second, because of the local Costa Rican people, known as Ticos. They are handsome, honest, noble, hard working and friendly.

Third, because of the unique charm and comfort of Casa Azul. We loved it as soon as we saw it. The infinity pool is simply amazing.

Fourth, because of the close availability and proximity to all sorts of activities and fine dining.

Last, but not least because of Sabrina and the management team who do an excellent job taking care of our guests during their stay at Casa Azul.

What makes this villa unique

We have never seen a view like that seen from the house. It can be enjoyed day and night. The ocean, town, and mountains provide a panoramic view.

The house has both charm and comfort, a rare find.

The design and layout of the house works well for larger groups. We have stayed with our children and grandchildren several times. The house never felt crowded with nine people and we still were able to enjoy our privacy. The grandchildren love the bunk beds.

The property is surrounded by a lockable fence. There is an monitored alarm system for security.

The house and property were extensively remodeled in 2015. Most of the furnishings and all of the appliances are updated.

Casa Azul is out of town yet close to everything. Many of the local tours know our villa by the name 'Casa Azul'.

We also own Casa Moreno which is a neighbor to Casa Azul. Construction was completed in January of 2016. The villa is similar in size and design to Casa Azul. It can also accommodate 10 people.   • There are four total bedrooms with six total beds. All beds have comfort toppers and protective covers on the beds and pillows. The bedroom off the living room, bedroom 3, is set up well for children or young adults. It contains three beds, 2 queens and a king. One Queen is above a King as an oversized bunk bed. The second queen is seperate on the opposite side of the room. There is a privacy curtain between the bunk beds and the queen. The master has an orthopedic king with an attached bath. Bedroom 2 has an orthopedic queen. Bedroom 4 has one double size bed and an attached bath. All bedrooms have their own fans and AC units with seperate thermostats. All the AC units are new, 2016. They are quiet as the compressors are separate, outside. All beds have new toppers and protective covers on both beds and pillows.

Shuttle, Chef and Spa services are very reasonable as are prices for tours and excursions. Links are avaliable upon request. Sabrina, the manager and her team will help you arrange transportation, greet you upon your arrival, show you the house operations, and help you with any arrangements for shuttle service, in house chef or spa services, and with recommendations and arrangements for any tours or activities that you may be interested in. There is maid service daily except Sundays included in the rates. We recently constructed a similar house close to Casa Azul named Casa Moreno. It is similar in size to Casa Azul with the same amenities. This will enable us to accommodate up to 20 people between the two villas. They are in easy walking distance of each other. The two villas work well for large family gatherings, weddings, and events.

Casa Azul #2 Quepos

The concierge team for this home is Top Notch. MefiBoseth and team over-delivered in every facet possible. Groceries? No problem. Munchies in the middle of the night? You got it. Excursions and adventures? At your service. Everything was at the touch of our fingertips once we entered the home. The home itself is located in a prime location next to downtown/the marina/and hillside restaurants. Comfortable beds, clean house throughout. Daily maid service kept our family in awe - meticulous and non-invasive, definite plus! I had no hesitation when i booked this home from the pictures that saw, definitely confirmed once i was able to experience it for myself. Thank you Casa Azul!

Great. Would stay another time.

Well kept, well stocked. Ideal for 3 couples or family. Lovely view of Quepos especially from the exceptionally clean infinity pool. Jorge and cleaning staff very helpful and accommodating. If I were to try to find a fault it would be the drive up to the property. 4 wheel drive would be recommended especially in the rainy season.

Beautiful home! Great people to work with! We will definitely be back!

This was an overall perfect rental! Everyone was so easy to work with from beginning to end! The house is incredible. Sabrina and Jorge were so great helping us to plan our vacation beforehand and making sure everything ran smoothly the whole week. We even received our deposit back within days after checkout. Highly recommend! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful view over the city in the valley and the ocean beyond.

This was our second opportunity to stay at Casa Azul. Just as beautiful as we remembered. The well equip home is perched near the top of the mountan and provides panoramic views of the valley and ocean. We usually end up sipping a cocktail while lounging in the infinity pool as the sun sets. Words cannot describe the peaceful beauty of this setting. With 4 bedrooms and lots of beds it housed our fishing team easily.

Jorge was a great help to get us settled in quickly and provided all the information we needed to make our stay worry free. His staff kept the home clean and neat and took care of the laundry chores for us. I know I will be back to stay again and again!!

Manuel Antonio has several beautiful beaches a short drive from Casa Azul. Some are secluded inside the Park and some before the Park have vendors who rent chairs and umbrellas and serve food and beverages.

The new Marina in Quepos offers world class sport fishing for Marlin, Sailfish, Maui-Maui and more. If you like fishing, a trip is a must. The water is calm for the most part and gets very deep within a few miles of shore. There is very little boat traffic. On our first trip out we caught two of the largest sailfish I have ever seen as well as numerous Maui- Maui, also the largest I have seen. These were caught within sight of shore. We also saw a Humpback Whale with her Pup.

The new Marina is within two miles of Casa Azul. It can be viewed from the house. You can arrange a charter with the managers. If you prefer, the managers will arrange for a chef to prepare a full course meal with your fresh fish, or you can take your fish to any one of the local restaurants and they will be glad to prepare it for you.

Wildlife tours in Manuel Antonio park are an easy walk and fun for all ages. The park entrance is 3 miles from Casa Azul. We recommend hiring a guide with a spotting scope. You can see the various species of Monkeys, Sloths and Iguanas really well for a very reasonable fee. The animals are used to humans and you can get some real close up photos. If you have an Iphone, the guide will take photos using his scope. Within a mile or so inside the Park, you will come upon several beautiful secluded beaches.

The beaches near the park entrance also have Jet skis, parasailing, horseback riding, ATV tours, and vendors who rent umbrellas, loungers, and will supply beverages and food.

We have done white water rafting and zip lining, and most of the other tours and excursions. All are a blast, great fun for all ages. The local tour companies will usually pick you up at the house and return you.

For the more adventuresome, there are all sorts of tours available for ATV riding, horseback riding, and hiking thru the mountains.

Diving and snorkeling trips are available at the new Pez Marina which is two miles away and can be viewed from the house. The Catamarran tours are great fun for all ages. There are daytime with swimming and snorkeling, and sunset dining trips.

Of course, there are all sorts of Eco tours which show and explain the diverse and beautiful Costa Rica Flora and Fauna. It is truly amazing. If you do a Mangrove tour, you will see Monkeys, snakes and crocodiles.

Casa Azul sits on a hill overlooking the town of Quepos and the Pacific ocean to the west. To the east are the rainforest mountains. The view is Panoramic during the day. At night, the lights of the town can be enjoyed from the house, balcony, and the infinity pool.

Quepos is an exuberant little town with lots of shopping and friendly local Ticos.

There are several grocery stores nearby. There is also a large Pali market [Walmart chain] about two miles away.

Shuttles are readily available and can be arranged thru the manager. If you rent a vehicle, she can have one dropped off at the house for you. There are parks, mountains, beaches and tours within a short drive. If you drive to Quepos from San Jose Airport, the new roads are quite good. It is a scenic drive along the ocean and thru the miles and miles of palm plantations along highway 34. There are modern gas stations and stopping points along the way.

For a more laid back vacation, spend plenty of time at the house enjoying the amenities, including the infinity pool and the new, full length balcony on the rear of the house. Cook your fish on the grill and enjoy the sunsets.

There are many excellent and reasonable restaurants to choose from within a few miles of Casa Azul. Many are on the Manuel Antonio road less than a mile from Casa Azul. The new Marina also has good restaurants.

I can honestly say we have never had a bad meal at any of the popular restaurants in the area. There are so many good ones to choose from. Most restaurants are open air with views of the Pacific ocean and lovely ocean breezes. The service is generally good and the prices are reasonable.

Costa Rica has good medical care. There is a hospital two miles from Casa Azul. There are local pharmacies in Quepos always ready to help with any need you may have.

Quepos has a Farmer's Market every Friday evening and all day Saturdays. You can get all sorts of fresh food and condiments at a very reasonable price.

Quepos has its own airport which is three miles from Casa Azul. There are many flights daily from San Jose to Quepos by Sansa and Nature Air. The flight takes twenty minutes and is an experience in itself.
