About Jill Batham

Lived here full time for 16 years. Both my elder horses were born on this property. Still riding them in these mountains. And they're doing well at 20 and 30 years old.

Work took me out of the area, but i always returned to re-charge my batteries. Now desire to share this awesome, beautiful, peaceful place with others.

Jill Batham purchased this cabin in 1978

Why Jill Batham chose California

You can ride to Nevada if you wanted to. Many rides to view spots and creeks.

It is so peaceful you can hear the leaves fall.

What makes this cabin unique

As close as you can get to camping and have all the amenities! And what a view!

Fabulous Vacation & Adventure

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful vacation on this beautiful ranch in the Genesee Valley. You immediately become immersed in the spectacular scenery and restfulness of being in a cozy, thoughtfully appointed cabin with a pretty yard, large deck and expansive views. My husband, little Aussie and I had a ball bike riding, horseback riding, hiking, fishing and sitting under the stars at night playing cards and listening to the quiet. Very restful but also exciting to see a bear in the pasture, attend a nearby rodeo and enjoy a delicious outdoor dinner concert at a great little restaurant a few minutes away. The wonderful owner shared her stories, horsemanship and wonderful cooking skills as a special treat one night. She is a doll and a great hostess who is there if you need her but doesn't interfere if you don't. We loved our time there and hated to leave after making a new friend and many great memories.
