The Grainroom
The drive into the area where the property is located is absolutely beautiful. Upon entering the property, lush green grassy pastures encompasses several Angus Cows. Most had babies on their hips which was an added benefit as they were so cute!!! The pastures are well maintained and clean. I was quiet impressed by the fact that I didn't see any flies. The cows are healthy with super shiny coats. They were all quiet content, calmly grazing. Even when i walked my dogs by them they were calmly grazing. The bull didn't even seem to be bothered by our presence. The hosts were wonderful and very accommodating. On the second night of my stay i ended up completely lost with no GPS miles away from the farm... after realizing I had no clue how to navigate my way back i simply called the hosts who drove a good 30 plus minutes to come rescue me by guiding me back to the farm. The cottage was the perfect size for myself and my dogs. It was clean, well stocked with linens and kitchenware. The bedroom is upstairs well decorated and the bed was super comfy. The views from all the windows were breathtaking. The chickens & rooster were fun to watch. The host has two super friendly dogs as well. Theres a beautiful walking area which leads to a little pond. Talk about serenity!!. I loved it there.
