Oceanside majestic 6 bedroom, 8 bath home in award winning, amenity filled, Corolla Light. An elevator makes moving in and transporting groceries effortless. It also assists individuals who difficulty climbing stairs, including those who require a walker or wheelchair. With an empty lot next door and trees lining the backyard, guests enjoy a remarkable level of privacy. Just a 5 minute walk to the beach or take the trolley during the summer season throughout the resort at the trolley stop just steps from the front door.

2 Tiki Bars, every bedroom has a flatscreen TV, professional grade Margaritaville frozen drink maker, plenty of outside seating including swings, hammocks, rockers, rope swings and adirondack chairs. New pool basketball hoops and volleyball nets are among the additions. Corn hole game for backyard entertainment.

Located on Beacon Hill, Corolla Light's neighborhood, guests have the resort's countless amenities at their fingertips. A few of these benefits include:four swimming pools, a playground, lighted basketball, shuffleboard, and volleyball courts; poolside gazebo and snack bar; as well as trails, gazebos and piers. In addition to the resort's amenities, the owners have provided an ELEVATOR, a media room containing a big screen TV with sound, wet bar, a private pool, a poolside tiki bar, and so much more! This well-equipped home will undoubtedly take your breath away.

Ground Level: Outside amenities include a fully gated private pool with a poolside Tiki Bar and pool basketball/volleyball nets. Additional gorgeous tiki bar with lights for night, park grill, gas grill and Weber charcoal grill, picnic table and 2 outside showers. Inside you'll find a Recroom with a pool table, seating for four around a pub table, wide-screen TV, a half bath, patio access and a wet bar with a full size refrigerator and ice-maker. This room has a bunkbed that has a full mattress on the bottom and a trundle bed that pulls out, bath and TV/DVD.

Mid Level: Features 3 King Bedrooms (2 of which have deck access) and each contains a flat screen TV. There is also a Queen Bedroom with deck access, den with TV/DVD, deck access, a beverage fridge and a laundry room with a washer and dryer.

Top Level: Great room with TV/DVD, gas fireplace, kitchen with all stainless steel appliances, wine cooler, granite countertops and 4 counter stools, a dining room that seats 8, raised loft seating area, half bath, and deck access leading to the hot tub and oceanside deck with pub tables and seating. About Lynn Bisighini

We bought this home in 2010 and have upgraded a number of features of the house and grounds so that our guests will be comfortable and have the best possible vacation they can have in this beautiful beach area. A favorite saying of ours is 'The beach is our happy place' and we try and ensure that our guests have that same feeling while they are staying at Beacon of Light.

Fantastic OBX Vacation

Beacon of Light is a great property to rent for a vacation in the OBX. I have rented several houses and this one has everything you could want and more. In our group we had 8 adults and 9 kids (all 5 and under) and we had more than enough room. We never felt like we were jammed in tight or running into each other. There are spaces to retreat if needed; a few sitting areas, seating on any of the decks outside or the hammock. The four leather chairs on the top floor was a favorite place to relax and watch the kids run around. The kitchen is very well stocked with any utensil you could want, and was roomy enough to have a few people in there prepping meals or cleaning up after. The pool was amazing and looks pretty cool with the black concrete stone on the floor. We did a couple night swims and with the lights gives the pool a cool vibe. The grassy area in the back was great to have. We played corn hole and bocce ball and sat at the tiki bar having a couple drinks while kids "mowed" the grass with the bubble mowers. Having the ice machine and ice on demand was key and a drink never went cold. The beach isn't too far away. We drove everyday we went to the beach and parked in the public parking on Shad Rd or got lucky and parked at the ocean front pool. The house has lots of umbrellas, beach chairs and beach carts. Being a part of Corolla Light was a nice perk. We used the ocean front pools as relief from the beach for the kids or to grab a quick snack or drink. Lynn was easy to work with and responsive to our questions. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone!

Family Vacation

Our family had a wonderful time at Beacon of Light. The house is wonderful and had everything we needed, down to beach chairs, umbrellas and beach cart! The kitchen is well stocked too! Can't think of anything that we needed and couldn't find. The house location is fantastic! A short walk to the beach, a short walk to the sound, ice cream right across the street from ice cream, which was a nightly outing and the perfect view for 4th of July fireworks (we had a perfect view from the front porch!). Our time was so perfect that we are hoping to make it an annual event! Thanks Lynn for sharing this wonderful home with us!

Well maintained home and property

Perfect Fit

Gorgeous home and perfect for our large family. The elevator allowed my mom and daughter to move freely within the home. The pool was the perfect size and the games at the home were nice entertainment.

Our second year

This was our family's second year vacationing in this home. Everything you could want or need has been provided by Lynn. This year we enjoyed having the large umbrella in the pool area. Our family rented a beach buggy/golf cart seating 6 people and had a great time scooting to the grocery, to The Beer Garden as well as the cute local shops. We also rented a pontoon boat across the street on the bay at North Shore sports. Had noticed that the second floor mini fridge was not working and the Keurig coffee maker leaked. A simple email to Lynn and Wes was there within 24 hours with new units. Looking forward to enjoying many more years enjoying this vacation property. Thanks again, Lynn!
