Modernized 2 bedroom 2 bath MID-CENTURY post and beam main house nestled within a forest of bamboo, preserved old oaks and of course Hollywood’s rich and famous. Designed and renovated with a keen eye on the architecture and style of the era, this special home blends old and new in true Hollywood fashion.

Tandem parking provided for two cars just minutes from Universal, Warner Brothers, NBC and Disney studios. Cook’s eat-in kitchen inspired by the iconic Airstream Trailer. High ceilings, central A/C and heating, concrete floors, high end furnishing, stone counters, vintage and modern fixtures throughout. Amenities include washer/dryer, dishwasher, vintage stove, disposal, ice maker, 1 King, 1 Queen memory foam bed. Two twins converted from 60's sectional in living room. Main House Sleeps 6. There is a stand alone Studio Guest House (that sleeps 2) at the back that can be rented together with the main house if available so that the whole property sleeps 8. This prime property is brand new to the Vacation and Corporate rental markets but not new to it’s owner who has been in the vacation / corporate rental business for years. This property has been the pride and joy of its owner since 2006. David takes enormous pride in the heritage of Hollywood and the restoration of its unique historical and architectural history. You are sure to find staying here a memorable and valuable experience.

Why Gina Martin chose San Fernando Valley

Hollywood is a vibrant, bustling town and this is a truly perfect location from which to tour LA. The studio, guest house is fully self-contained and may also be rented separately for maximum 2 guests.

Ten minutes away, by foot there is an enormous, hip, new LA Fitness and Starbucks. A short drive to either the 101 Freeway or Cahuenga Blvd. gets you to Grauman’s Chinese /Walk of Fame /Hollywood/Highland complex, Hollywood Bowl, Melrose Avenue, Cinerama Dome, subway stations that connect you to downtown, countless gyms, shops, tours, restaurants theaters and night clubs. This home and its rear studio guest house (when available sleeps 2, total 6) is freeway close and convenient to the Valley, West Hollywood and Beverly Hills by car or metro.

What makes this bungalow unique

Set among mature trees and a forest of bamboo, this house is situated on a sleepy, windy road, just 3 minutes from the 101 Freeway. You will feel like you are miles away from the action of the City..but you're not!

Perfection in Hollywood Hills

We came to spend 4 action packed days with our 3 children ages, 23,20,18 - with our top focus being Universal Studios and the New Harry Potter World! This house was perfect for us. Clean isn't even the word I would use. It was spotless with super great sheets and towels and that is vitally important to me. The yard was so beautiful -- the perfect place to drink a cup of coffee in the mornings. The bathrooms were plenty big with extra towels and plenty of plugs. We didn't cook, but there was everything we needed if we had. We rented an SUV, and it was easy to park in the driveway. It was less than 10 minutes to Universal Studios, about half an hour from Downtown LA and the touristy sites. We saw a Dodgers game and took Uber - and that cost about $20 and took the hassle out of parking. We spent a day at Santa Monica/ Venice Beach and it was about 45 minutes back to the house. We flew in and out of Bob Hope Airport in Burbank - which was a short 15 minute drive. The owner even stopped by one morning and was super nice and accommodating. The property manager checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed. This is one of the top VRBO houses we have rented and it is one I will highly recommend to friends and family!

Yes! Thank goodness it was so nice!

Great location. Private. Did I already say that it was a great location?! The house was clean, easy to find, had a generous parking spot, loved having two bathrooms, and plenty of space for 4 of us. This place has obviously had some thought in the style of decor inside and out. The location was about 10 minutes to Warner Brothers Studios, 5 minutes to Universal Hollywood, not far from downtown Burbank, easy to get to the Hollywood walk of fame, 45 to Santa Monica pier, close to Griffith Park, 5 minutes to a grocery store, and easy to get to/from Burbank airport. Just loved it! I kinda wish there was a hot tub. ;-) Gina was very prompt and easy to deal with. I really appreciated that. We have a VRBO of our own and I have to say this place is managed very well.

Wonderful Peaceful Beautiful and Surprising

This place was perfect!

We were traveling with my mother who is 92 but wonderfully mobile so we wanted a place on a single level. We also had our bicycles and my 28 year old son. This place surpassed every diverse need we had! My mom enjoyed coffee in the wonderful and surprising and sun filled backyard. My husband and I rode our bikes to the Griffith Park Observatory and back up some canyons and along Mulholland Drive . My son visited all of his friends in LA and Ubered back home at his convenience. There was a place for visitors to have tea with "Grandma" and a place for the family to meet and talk. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and everything was amazingly close to this location.

Fantastic

We absolutely loved the place. Would never realize your in the heart of LA and the all the studios. Owner was very nice, place was immaculate and very nicely appointed. There were 6 of us (2 adults and 4 kids from 12-18) and it was plenty big with a nice functional kitchen and a great back yard with a gas grill. Would stay there again in a heart beat.

Perfection

I cannot begin to say what a wonderful place this is and how amazing our experience was. There was everything we needed, directions were very specific and easy to follow, and the property was clean and very unique! The rental process was beyond painless. Gina was on top of communication like nothing I have ever experienced, and she was kind and accommodating beyond words. David, the owner, stopped by a couple of times to oversee the building of a wall around the property. He is a very nice man, and I would be happy to stay in his properties every time we vacation. The construction did not disturb us in any manner. David actually renovated the home into a mid-century style home with the feeling of an Airstream. The artwork in the wonderful backyard is his own creation!

Also, there is a very friendly guy renting the casita on the property. We were a little boisterous the first morning because the kids (and me!) were excited to go to Universal Studios. Also, the beautiful back yard was just too wonderful not to enjoy. (Coffee in the morning while surrounded by foliage and a little man made water feature was just the zen I needed!) We didn't realize he was in here asleep. When we saw him later, he was sweet as Dutch cheese. We chatted and got to know him a little and were very careful to try and keep it down the remainder of our stay. :-)

The location was perfect for all of our plans. We were just around the corner from Universal and Hollywood. We had dinner a mile or so away at Micelis restaurant at the recommendation of David. Great suggestion!

Oh...and The security deposit was refunded the next day. That was much faster than I expected.

I definitely recommend this property and dealing with Gina and David!

Amazing property, fantastic owner and staff. Best vacation accommodations.... EVER!

We have been to Los Angeles a few times for vacation and have always stayed in hotels. This time we tried the vacation home rental route. Having never done this before we were a little sceptical. Well after staying in David's beautiful Hollywood Hills property, we will never stay in a hotel again while on vacation.

The pictures do not do this property justice. The pictures are great but the home is AMAZINGLY AWESOME. The neighbourhood is beautiful and very quiet. We had the most peaceful sleeps ever in those oh so comfortable beds.

This location was perfect for the events we had planned. We went to hockey games in Aneheim and at the Staples center and both were easy to get to being a few minutes from a major highway. A few streets over and you are on Mullholland Drive checking out where the stars live. Five minute drive to Hollywood and Vine, 10 minutes to the action on Sunset Strip. And Universal Studios is within walking distance (if you like to walk).

The owner David was very pleasant and Gina answered all of our questions promptly.

There was only one major problem with our stay at this wonderful property, we didn't stay long enough. Next time we will.
