About this property

Mustique is a spacious (over 800 feet) luxurious beach escape suitable for a couple. It is located between Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach on the Scenic 30A and a short 5 minute walk to the beach and a 2 minute walk to the swimming pools.

The carriage house is set on 2 floors with downstairs being an open plan living area with kitchen boasting brand new modern appliances, granite tops, double-door fridge with an ice-maker and water filter. We have both a keurig and drip coffee maker and supply filter papers.

The living area is fully tiled and has a comfortable sofa and large flat screen TV, which leads out to a secluded patio with gas grill and seating area. This is also the perfect setting to wind down with sundowners. The upstairs area has a full bathroom with his and hers vanities. The bedroom has hickory hardwood floors with vaulted ceilings and several windows allowing the natural light to shine in. The bedroom deck overlooks the trees and green area where you will hear the tweeting of birds awakening you each morning.

All linen, soaps, bath, beach towels and amenities for a couple of days are provided. Use of beach chairs and an umbrella are also provided.

Destin and the outlet stores are only a 20 minute drive away. During the Spring and Summer months there are several free outdoor concerts in the area, many within walking distance form the carriage house.

Seacrest Beach boasts a huge recreational area and have 12 000 feet of swimming pools, only 80 yards form your front door. The accommodation is a short 5 minute walk to the beach, or you can catch the free golf tram service directly from your front door to the beach. After the beach you can rinse off with the hot/cold outdoor shower right outside your front door. Seacrest also has a gravel walking/jogging trail surrounding the community, else one can run or cycle the 17 mile Scenic 30A.

Free unlimited Wi-Fi is available.

One small dog weighing less than 20 lbs are permitted UPON REQUEST. This is to be pre-approved as separate linen and furnishings are used for pet friendly guests. There is a pet fee applied to confirmed pets.

Incredible property!

Laura and Anthony were wonderful accommodating hosts! They made our stay, check in process, and first visit to Rosemary Beach so easy and stress-free! Carriage house is a beautiful, charming, very clean property with amazing proximity to Rosemary and Seacrest Beach. We loved our stay and hope to be back soon!

Outstanding location and home--walkable to everything

I booked Mustique for a spring break getaway. We could not have had a better location and experience! The house is actually nicer than what it appears in photos (can I suggest a photo of the front of the unit?). Modern, spacious, clean--it has everything you need for two. What a charming neighborhood! I had no idea how captivating the neighborhood is. Lots of walks to admire the houses, greenery, pool, beach. The pool is so close. And the beach is definitely walkable, although the tram is hard to pass up, it's so darn close and easy! Loved being able to walk to shops and restaurants at Rosemary Beach. But, also loved the shops and more laid back vibe at Seacrest Beach. A great mix. Plus, a nearby Publix for everything we forgot. Would love to stay again!

An Enjoyable Stay!

My faithful, traveling companion, Coco and I had a very enjoyable stay, even though the weather was cool. We enjoyed hiking the state parks and the conservation park. It was a very relaxing stay, and our hosts were very helpful.

Anthony & Laura built their dream home in Seacrest in 2012. In 2013 we decided to construct the carriage house. We love the beach, so have incorporated a beach feel to the modern contemporary decor.

Why they chose this property

This is a new stylish carriage house, with construction completed in March 2014. We are locals and have extensive knowledge of the area to assist with eating out, recreational interests, water sports, fishing, getting around, concerts and shopping.
