This delightful home is the place to stay when visiting the splendours of the Southern Cape. From here Tsitsikamma, Nature's Valley, Plettenberg Bay, Mossel Bay, George, Oudtshoorn in the Little Karoo and many more breathtaking places can be discovered. The Knysna Golf course is in walking distance, Pezula / Sparrebosch Golf is a 5 minutes' drive as are Knysna's lovely surroundings - the rivers, lakes and islands, beaches and lagoons, mountains and indigenous forest. When you need a rest after these overwhelming impressions, a day at the swimming pool is vacation at its best. The Boma (or lapa) with a multi-braai offers a truly African dining experience under the stars. Sit around a bonfire and enjoy the stories of the day. Warning!! The stories get better as the night goes on.
Knysna and surroundings:

Wine and dine your way through a formidable array of fine restaurants, seafood taverns, pubs, coffee shops and eateries. A delectable specialty is the oysters which are cultivated in Knysna lagoon.

We have all had the most fanstastic holiday in this beautiful house! It is exceptionally well appointed for a perfect family holiday and the owner is brilliantly organised in every respect. We drove from Cape Town to Kynsna with ease, and fell in love with Kynsna and the house immediately.
There's so much to do in and around Kynsna-more than enough for a fortnight. You simply have to go to find out more!!
We instantly felt at home in a very welcoming house which has every facility you need. The location offers privacy, though is safe and convenient for all amenities. The owner and local 'agents' provided excellent service. Knysna and the surrounding area are rich in natural beauty; conservation enhances the experience of this wonderful part of South Africa.
We have just returned from a wonderful first holiday in South Africa. Knysna is ideally located and is truly a beautiful base from which to explore the southern cape. The house was absolutely lovely, a true "home from home".We were sorry to leave - two weeks simply were not long enough - we look forward to returning!
Knysna is situated right in the heart of the Garden Route, at 500 km from Cape Town and 250 km from Port Elisabeth.
Other Activities: Relaxing at the swimming pool.
Golf: Welcome to the 'Golfing Mecca' of South Africa. There are no fewer than 8 top class golf courses between Plettenberg Bay and George, including the new links course at Fancourt and Pezula/Sparrebosch, South Africa's postcard to golf. In addition to this, 9 mashie golf courses have also been established in this 'golfing route'.
We have rented residence all over the planet and have never had a stay that so much exceeded our expectations. Re-purchase is proof of satisfaction and we decided to rent for over three weeks this coming season again (2014/15).
Just a note to say thank you – your house was lovely and we had a wonderful two weeks holiday. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Lying by the pool was so relaxing and your guides and brochures were really helpful. The men golfed at the local course and Simola, we visited the Heads and Buffalo Bay, went on the steam train from George to Hartenbos, drove through Phantom Pass. Ate out regularly in the wonderful restaurants of Kynsna (put on rather too much weight)! as the food and wine were too tempting.
I can see why you love the location and the house – it is truly idyllic and hopefully we will return again. (Watson 2-3/2007)
Ski: What a fantastic home you have.We were very comfortable and felt very relaxed from the moment we arrived. The pool was great and our son spent most of his time in it. We all agree that this was the best holiday ever!!Thank you so much again for letting us use your home–we will definitely try to come and stay again in the not too distant future.(Albertyn 1/2009) We very much enjoyed staying in your home.Within a few minutes of walking in the door we knew that we had all the comforts of home at our finger tips. What a joy to find a fully equipped home instead of a house with the basic equipment. It was very easy to see that it was a very much loved house and as such, contained everything we could possibly need and so much more. What a joy to find nice big fluffy towels and a teapot! We enjoyed the privacy and seclusion of the pool and patios and had a very relaxing week due totally to the fact that we felt so comfortable.Thank you very much for letting us share your home.(Oliver 2/2007)
