Comfortable, well maintained holiday home for 2-7 people with a beautiful garden in one of the most picturesque villages (landscape conservation!) The Cote d'Or, located in the vineyards, about 12 km from Beaune, the wine city of Burgundy.

Ideal starting point for wine / culture and hiking vacation (90 km of signposted trails directly from the house). Free tennis court on site. Very quiet, yet not isolated.

The house was built in 1992 in the Burgundian country house style and offers on 150 m² a lot of comfort for 2-7 persons: 3 bedrooms with bathrooms (2 of them with additional. Bed, cot available), fully equipped kitchen, stove with ship, living room with open fireplace, French ceiling and antique furniture, WIFI / WLAN, satellite TV with international channels. Transmitters, large terrace, large garden (1000 m²) with outdoor seating and beautiful views of the valley and the Falaises.

The famous wine castles Pommard and Meursaut are only a few km away.

In the village (200 inhabitants) it is very quiet, so high recreational value. Hiking and cycling trails start right in the village.

Other excursion possibilities: Beaune, Dijon, Chalon sur Saone, Autun, Cluny, Macon and of course the Route de Grand Crus of the Cote D'Or and Cote Nuits.

The bathrooms are accessible in each of the bedrooms. The lower bedroom is smaller (12 sqm) and has a separate exit to the terrace.

Sweet country house

My wife and I had a very relaxing stay in this nice house about 20 minutes from Beaune. Enjoyed the nice, quiet, peaceful backyard in the sun on the patio furniture. We loved the location, on a little hill in Evelle. Very nice kitchen, dining room and living area. We enjoyed the fireplace as the nights were still chilly. We would definitely rent this cute house again if we were going to be in the Beaune area.

Evelle

We enjoyed our stay but would like to make a few comments to improve the experience. We first stayed in this house about 17 years ago when the house was first built so everything was new and bright, but the house now needs a bit of updating particularly the bathrooms and the windows looked as if they had not been cleaned for a long time. Also the bed linen was not very welcoming it was very rough, very uncomfortable, not ironed and marked in various places giving the impression of not being clean. We were greeted in the garden with dog poo on the lawn in the front and back in various places, which was not very nice. Surprised that there was no electric toaster or an iron and ironing board which would have been useful. Also a barbeque would have been nice to have. Although great to be away from the internet, in this day and age no WiFi!, I would say is a must and people choose whether to use it or not. Also last time we stayed there were sun beds provided but not available this time. The garden chairs were comfortable to sit and read but if you wanted to lie down and catch the sun impossible! The house is in a beautiful location and we had a peaceful holiday, however with the amount of money we paid we would have expected everything in the house to have been at a higher standard so we were a little disappointed.

It would have been helpful to have had in the house information on local restaurants, local sites, supermarkets, market days and locations etc. I appreciate that this information can be accessed on line but when you are at the house you cannot get access to the internet!

Owner's Response: Zu den hier genannten "Mängeln" des Hauses möchte ich einiges richtig stellen: Wir haben in den letzten 10 Jahren immens in dieses Haus investiert - vom Garten angefangen, der von einem Landschaftsgärtner gebaut wurde und vorher nur ein Parkplatz und eine Wiese war. Die hochwertige Küche ist ein Jahr alt und erfüllt auch von der Ausstattung her höchste Ansprüche. Alle Räume sowie die Fassade sind frisch gestrichen. Bäder und Dachfenster stehen bei uns sehr wohl auf dem Plan, sind jedoch sauber und funktional, wenn auch nicht mehr neu. Bettwäsche und Handtücher werden regelmäßig ausgesondert und erneuert. Im Schuppen, zu dem jeder Gast Zugang hat, befinden sich die vermissten Geräte und Möbel: Sonnenliegen, Sonnenschirm, Kinderschwimmbad, Elektrogrill (Kohle wurde zu oft unsachgemäß entsorgt...), Bügeleisen, Bügelbrett und Wäscheständer, weitere Gartenmöbel. Wifi wird diesen Sommer noch installiert werden, das weiß man aber beim Buchen, dass es das noch nicht gibt. Bleiben noch der Toaster (muss in der Tat ersetzt werden) und ein Hundehaufen. Wir bekommen durchweg positive Rückmeldungen zum Haus und sind selbst sehr gerne mit Freunden und Familie dort. Unser Gast hat sich im Übrigen in unserem als privat gekennzeichnetem, aber nicht verschlossenem Zimmer (die Sicherungen sind dort) an weiterer Bettwäsche und zahlreichen Handtüchern bedient - vielleicht rückt das seine Bewertung auch in ein anderes Licht.

Entspannter Urlaub im schönen Burgund

Wir haben den entspannten Urlaub in Evelle genossen. Evelle ist ein richtiges Dorf, wer es ruhig und beschaulich mag, Landschaft, Natur . der ist hier richtig. Wir waren richtig. Jeden Abend haben wir in der Küche gekocht und auf der Terrasse gegessen. Unsere Hunde haben sich neben oder auch in Konkurrenz mit den Dorfhunden sehr wohl gefühlt. Frankreich ist ein prinzipiell hundefreundliches Land. In einige Chateaus konnten wir die Hunde sogar mitnehmen.

Jeden Tag ein neues Ziel, manche auch mehrfach ... so wie Beaune. Radfahren am Canal de Bourgogne.

Und natürlich der Wein - einfach lecker, getestet und für gut befunden.

Die Betreuung vor Ort von der Verwalterin war herzlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wunderbare Urlaubstage in wunderschönem Ferienhaus

Wir haben die Zeit im wunderdschönen Ferienhaus sehr genossen. Es ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet, hat eine tolle Lage, viel Natur ringsrum, die Terrasse war unser Lieblingsort.

Von Eville aus das Burgund zu erkunden ist toll, auch mit den Fahrrädern direkt von dort zu starten ist sehr gut möglich.

Wir können dieses schöne Haus sehr empfehlen!

Wunderbare Urlaubstage

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt in diesem wunderschönen Landhaus. Es ist mit viel Liebe und Geschmack eingerichtet, die Küche ist toll und im Garten zu sitzen herrlich.

Die Lage ist wunderbar, ruhig und Beaune zum Einkaufen in kurzer Zeit erreichbar. Als Ausgang für Radtouren fanden wir es auch bestens.

Wir können das Ferienhaus sehr empfehlen.
