Charming cottage, beautiful property
Kimmi and Terry were wonderful hosts, very accommodating and helpful without being intrusive. Thier property is beautiful, overlooking Gregory Town with a nice view of the cove. It’s a quick walk to town, the surf shack was our favorite place to eat. The cottage itself is clean and charming. The gardens give a nice feel of privacy and seclusion. Beautiful beaches within 15 minutes. I selfishly wish all the windows of the cottage had screens so we could leave them open while cooking and at night to enjoy the breeze and view. Our family enjoyed our stay. It’s a great place for couples looking to unplug and relax. We recommend it. Thanks for sharing your home with us!
Thank you for coming to visit.
All of our cottages have screens and A/C for our guests.
As the first people up each day, we noticed you enjoyed the screen windows at night as well as the A/C on the warmer evenings during your visit.
Easter Holiday was such beautiful weather.
So glad you got to enjoy it here with us.
Our huge water cistern under the main house provided uninterrupted water service for all our guests as the public water was off on the island at the time you were here. (Another added feature here on our property)
After those long days at the beach, there is nothing better than a dip in our Pool followed by a hot shower under the coconut trees.
Thanks again for coming!
Sunshine from the Bahamas!
Terry & Kimy
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay [6 nights] with Kimi and Terry. Daily they made their rounds to make certain their guests are taken care of 100% even to the very end when they went the extra mile and saw us safely off the island.
The property is absolutely beautiful and perfectly groomed with fabulous views of the little harbor and town. It's so beautiful and peaceful that if you choose to stay on the property just to relax you would still enjoy it just the same as if you went exploring throughout the island and it's beaches.
It was our pleasure. You in the hammock, Rick on the porch and your daughter all enjoying yourselves. So happy we could help you relax from your busy lives.
Come home to our little island paradise anytime. You are part of our family now. You ready? Wheels Up!! We Gone!!
Love & Sunshine to you!

AMAZING VACATION SPOT!
I stayed at the Tamarind and I had a really great time among the local Bahamian locals in the village and also with Kimy and Terry. My cottage was clean and airy! When I first arrived I was very hesitant to rent a car, driving on the "wrong" side of the road. I wasted two days not having wheels but I really have no regrets about it. It gave me the opportunity to walk around the village and get to know locals. Gregory Town is awesome, the people are honest and sincere. I am 54 yr old woman and for the first time in my life I hitchhiked! And, YES, it is a safe thing to do on the island.
I received the most special care by a local Bahamian, Ern and Kimy who saved my life - literally. While visiting I had an issue with my blood sugar. I was limp and just wanted to sleep. I was in touch over text with my Mom who asked if I wanted her to get in touch with Kimy to check on me later and I agreed. Kimy did not wait. She rushed right over and found me very lethargic and lost for words. I was so weak. Kimy rushed to get her phone and called the nurse down the road. She wanted me to go to the clinic. From that moment-on Kimy rallied every resource she had, including Ern. Ern is Kimy and Terry's friend but also a Bahamian man that is basically there for them and their visitors whenever needed - for anything! Ern came immediately after Kimy called for him and the rest is a story for a book. Ern stayed with me as we traveled to two clinics, the second having a doctor. The decision - I had to get off the island to an acute care hospital in Nassau. I used Ern's phone to call Kimy to ask if she would pack up my stuff and Ern would go and get it. She swiftly packed up a heavy suitcase with all my things so it was ready when Ern returned for everything. This man made two long round-trips from clinics to Kimy's cottages to ensure I got to where I needed to be for care. At the second clinic the nurse pricked my finger and my blood sugar went from 60 to 36! It was now a serious emergency. The nurse shouted out to Ern that we needed OJ, sweets, anything to help me recover the low blood sugar. The store WAS NOT next door by any means. But, Ern was back in lightening time with a bag full of all the right stuff to help reverse my acute condition. Longer story short I was medflighted off the island in tears. I wanted to stay and do some things I hadn't gotten in yet, i.e. snorkeling at gorgeous Gaulding Cay. I'm going back ASAP to see my friends!! Best vaca spot everrr!!
What an adventure you had!!
So happy everything turned out well and the holidays were enjoyed with your loved ones. Come home anytime. We will always take care of you.

A well maintained, pristine cottage on the turquoise cove of Gregory Town!
My husband and I just spent our honeymoon at the Tamarind Tree Cottage and are already scheming about when our next visit will be! Kimy and Terry (and Morocco!) could not have been more welcoming! They are so helpful with helping you navigate the Island—from best beaches to tastiest dinners out. Your day can be spent poolside or adventuring to one of the many secluded beaches the island has to offer. Their property is meticulously maintained and the cottage was delightful. My husband and I enjoyed having breakfast—eggs, toast and coffee—on the porch every morning. The full kitchen in the cottage allows you to stay home for meals if that’s what you’d like.
We loved staying at Edge of the World Properties and know you will too! Thanks so much, Johnson family!
We love our "Lovebirds" and your visit was no exception. What a sweet couple!. We are delighted to hear you enjoyed our property. Your laughter made us smile daily. Welcome to our little Island Family. Come home soon to the warm Bahamas!
