About Leslie

We've traveled the world and there is no place in the states that can offer such an eclectic blend of Greek and American culture as Tarpon Springs. We were married in Tarpon Springs in 2001. So, when we looked for a second home, we knew we wanted to live in the old Greek neighborhood where many people still speak only Greek. We also love the unique nature of the area as well - the southern Florida architecture, the fishing, and the astounding wildlife. We put a lot of love into our guest apartment. We take pride in providing our guests with our personal attention – from key exchanges, to cleaning, to repairs, and anything in between. We know you'll enjoy staying at our guest apartment as much as we do.

Why Leslie chose Clearwater Area

We love the Greek area around the Sponge Docks. The home's Mediterranean style is reminiscent of those found in Greece as well as Spain, Italy and Portugal. We love the bright colors, hand painted tile floors and European kitchen.

What makes this apartment unique

We love being within walking distance of all things. You can spend the morning viewing manatees at Whitcombs bayou, the afternoon shopping for antiques along Tarpon Avenue and the evening dining at the Sponge Docks and you never need to move the car out of the driveway.

Great Little Place

  • 5 of 5

Esperia was the perfect place for our little vacation. The apartment was well-furnished and the location was great. We were in easy walking distance of the Sponge District as well as being perfectly situated to Pinellas Avenue so that we could explore areas north or south. We came down to fish, but the weather was very windy. Since we couldn't fish, we explored this new (to us) area of Florida and still had a wonderful time and a great place to stay.

So many stores, restaurants and specialty shops!!

  • 5 of 5

This vacation location is perfectly located, just a short walk to the docks, Greek specialty bakeries and dining. Also shops with incredible soaps, sponges and clothing/ fashionable styles. This rental is also within walking distance to downtown Tarpon Springs. Cute shops and outdoor dining up and down the streets.

The history of this part of the country is fascinating and enlightening. Beaches, harbors and seafood restaurants are close by as well as parks to stroll though.

This rental provides you and your family with everything to enjoy your stay, we were amazed with so many amenities including beach towels, chairs, basic pantry items and paper products. Clothes detergent and dryer sheets made our stay twice as nice. Family, couples or a nice get-a-way will provide you with the nicest memories forever!

Beautiful Esperia, you will not be disappointed!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I have been residing at Esperia for the last 2 months now. By the time all is said and done, we would have considered her our home for 3 months. We have stayed in many vacation rentals in the past and I must say that this has been the best thus far, as far as having everything needed for a long term stay and being very well maintained.

Esperia is very warm and welcoming. When first crossing the threshold, your eyes immediately dance with the marvelous Mediterranean decor that is warm and inviting. The apartment has a certain charm that is hard to explain, you just have to see it for yourself. There is all the amenities needed to cook a proper meal anytime and you can definitely see that Leslie and Ted have pulled out all the stops to makes sure their guests feel at home. They have been responsive and accommodating, which is most appreciated.

Esperia is located in a quiet neighborhood in Tarpon Springs. It's far enough remove from the hustle and bustle of Tampa, but still within a reasonable drive if you desire to go into the city. Just a few blocks away is the Sponge Docks, with shopping and dining if you want to get out and don't feel like cooking. There are a few restaurants on the water where you can chill and watch the sunset.

I would not have any hesitation recommending Esperia to anyone who asks. You will not be disappointed.
