This is a charming craftsman home built in 1916 and located in the beautiful historic city of Wallace, ID.
There are various restaurants within walking distance from the house, or you can sit and relax on the porch and enjoy the views of the surrounding mountains.
The interior of this home has recently been renovated, but many original features were left intact -- such as the original wood flooring, trim and windows.
There is plenty of street parking in front of the house, as well as across the street.
The house is equipped with Wi-Fi internet, a blu-ray/dvd player, 43' plasma TV, and many kitchen amenities.
Sleeps up to 8 people with three bedrooms on the second floor:
Queen bed - 1
Full beds - 3
Note: If your stay is for an extended period of time, we may be able to provide access to a washer/dryer.
Our family currently resides in Coeur d'Alene, ID, but we frequently stay in Wallace during the ski season and for various events in the summer.
Most of the family members involved in this property grew up in Coeur d'Alene, ID and have no intentions of leaving this beautiful region.
Jason & Sarah Robinson purchased this house in 2012
We bought this house as a family to provide others the experience of a historic city (Wallace) and be close to other outdoor activities such as skiing at either Lookout Pass or Silver Mountain, snowmobiling, or relaxing and enjoying the mountain views surrounding the city of Wallace.
Many of the family members grew up in other nearby cities in the Silver Valley and skied primarily at Lookout Pass.
We hope you enjoy this area as much as we do.
We loved the original hardwood flooring, trim and windows of this home -- which was built in 1916.
The large front porch was also a nice feature to use in the summer time to relax and enjoy the surrounding views.
We needed a little extended weekend get-a-way and Wallace, Idaho appeared to be a quaint little tourist town that fit the bill. We found this cute 3 bedroom home on VRBO.com, and everything was as simple as simple could be. Booking it. Paying for it. The owners were great communicators and everything was just as they had advertised. The home was clean, well furnished and located within walking distance to everything we wanted to visit in Wallace.
I would highly recommend this home over a hotel any day of the week!
We absolutely loved the house and the town of Wallace. The house was perfect for our extended family - 3 big bedrooms with 4 beds. It was clean and the linens were new. The kitchen was very well equipped. We did miss a grill but we had family staying at the RV park so they brought one over. There is quite a bit to do in Wallace - we rode the Hiawatha trail, took the mine tour and went to the 6th street melodrama. Enjoyed all. We ate a couple really good meals at the City Limits Pub & Grill. The house is within walking distance of everything including an ice cream shop. Thanks so much!
Just as the pictures showed, very charming home. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend.
Everything was clean and comfortable, would definitely stay again in the future!
This house was great - clean, charming and comfortable. No problems except we couldn't get the DVD to work. Which really doesn't matter since why should we sit around and watch TV on vacation anyway!! We loved our weekend and hope to be back. Thanks for sharing your spot with us!
