As a Sarasota resident of 30 years I have always loved Siesta Key. The area is the perfect relaxation spot. I purchased this completely renovated house one year ago as a weekend retreat without the travel; it's 20 minutes from my home. I have thoroughly enjoyed decorating it with all new furnishings that fit perfectly with the relaxed island feeling this cottage radiates.
Madeline Brogan purchased this cottage in 2012
I looked at many properties for my own vacation home ownership but found the true gem in my own back yard, just a few steps from the beautiful beach with adequate parking; never having to jostle for a parking spot again at the public beach was a huge selling point for me. As an added benefit, the backyard is its own private oasis. I added a custom built outdoor kitchen and bar so that I could relax with friends and enjoy wonderful family get-togethers. I know that you will love this cottage as much as my family and I do.
Just a few steps from the beautiful Crescent Beach and Point of Rocks.
Parking for up to 5 cars.
Secluded private oasis with a outdoor kitchen, bar and bar seating for up to 8.

This is a true vacation home.
This property was absolutely perfect!
We vacationed for four weeks in July with our 3 young boys and dog and had a truly wonderful time. The house had everything we could have wanted and Madeline, the property owner, was so accommodating to any questions or concerns we had during that time. She welcomed us with flowers, wine, and capri suns, and even brought dog treats for our pup.
The location was great, just down the street from the beach, which made for easy trips to and from the house for snacks, more toys, etc. The beach itself is fantastic, but if you're looking on Siesta Key, you already know that. Wonderful water, perfect sand, beautiful shells, and ample space, we couldn't have asked for more in our summer vacation spot.
After 4 weeks, the property felt like a second home. We will definitely return in the future to make more awesome family memories!
Backyard was great. Kids enjoyed the "spool". Bedrooms were comfy. Back door is within rear room/3rd bedroom with tumble bed and bean bag bed. Stocked with beach chairs, rafts, and beach toys. Very nice time. Note it's more like 300 steps to actually reach the beach.
We loved the Beach House, great location. Cute, well decorated, really comfortable. I high recommend this rental.
If you are looking for a place to stay on Siesta Key, look no further you have found it. Beautiful comfortable home. The outdoor area is amazing. The beach access is a short walk. This home has everything you need!
We had a terrific week at Siesta Key, the house lived up to its reputation from previous reviews. It was equipped with everything you needed inside and out. The purpose of the week was a get together for my two sons and my daughter-in-law.
There were plenty of good times spent around the fire pit at night. The outdoor kitchen was well used and well equipped. The whole setting outside was beautiful. The walk to the pristine beach was short and pleasant. We didn't spend that much time inside the house, but when we did there was plenty of room.
Madeline was available for the few times we needed and she was very helpful. The whole week was a pleasure. Weather was outstanding. We walked down to the beach one night and a display of stars was spectacular. The sunsets were nice too. All in all, it was a great time. My wife and I would do this again with the family again anytime.
This was a beautifully decorated cottage with plenty of space for our family. Madeline had everything we needed for our stay including beach chairs, suntan lotion, bikes and a rolling cooler. We enjoyed the backyard oasis everyday. Cool mornings/evenings were spent in the hot tub and around the firepit. We would stay here again. Madeline was so nice to work with and answered all of my questions very timely.
