Eric and Tina have lived in the Fairbanks area for 40 plus years. They have a wealth of information about the state of Alaska and the Fairbanks/North Pole area. They enjoy the outdoors including fishing and camping.
We have lovingly remodeled our home to accommodate visitors. The studio apartment is separate from our upstairs living area. The separate entrance provides privacy for our guests.
We provide a very clean, affordable, rural residential lodging option.
Tina and Eric were great hosts for our stay at Arctic Fox. Their home was very cozy and comfortable. Thanks Tina and Eric.
I've stayed in many VRBO properties over the years and Tina and Eric's studio in North Pole is not only the quietest property I've been in, it's one of the nicest and Tina and Eric were the most accomodating host's I've stayed with. Since there were no reservations on either end of my visit, Tina let me ignore the usual check-in, check-out times. My first day here involved a doctors appointment in Fairbanks and the next morning, Tina was worried because she hadn't heard any noise from the studio so she texted to check on my well being! The interior of the studio looks like it was done by an interior decorator with top quality furnishings and is very cozy. The yard is beautiful (it's late summer here now so that will change with the seasons . . . snow season arrives soon!). Because it's a basement studio, there aren't many windows but that keeps the outside noise to a minimum. The steps down could be a problem for some individuals with knee problems so you need to be aware of that. However, all in all, this is a quality property and the first 5 star I've given to a VRBO. Thank you Tina and Eric! -Laurie
Studio apartment was very clean, comfortable, pleasant and quiet. No intrusion from owners. Completely furnished. There were just two of us but it could comfortably accommodate four. The 25 minute drive back and forth to family in Fairbanks was easy. I would highly recommend it to our family & friends visiting the area. Wanda U. Wisconsin
Artic Fox Stay was perfect for my needs. The studio had everything that I needed and more and was super clean and neat. Tina and Eric are very nice and accommodating, they keep their property in wonderful shape. It is convenient to North Pole and Fairbanks and I would definitely recommend it to others.
Exceptionally comfortable apartment with everything necessary and more. Convenient driving distance to Fairbanks and North Pols attractions. Very clean and well maintained. Owners were helpful, but not intrusive. We would definitely recommend this apartment!
My family and I recently moved to the area and needed a place to stay until we got our own place. Eric ans Tina provided us a place we called home for two months. They were inviting and friendly. They shared their knowledge of the area and gave great advice on what to and what not to do. The apartment was just big enough for my family of 5. It's a studio with a bed and a pull out. We brought a cot for our youngest child. Although, I would normally say that a family of 5 in any type of studio apartment would be insane, Eric and Tina just made the environment so comfortable that we didn't look anywhere else for a bigger place for our transition. The apartment is furnished. Has a full kitchen and a washer and dryer (which is extremely important while travelling). And has its own private entrance. I feel lucky to have found this place and made permanent friendships with Eric and Tina. If you're looking for a middle ground to leave out of for some adventure this would be it. Definitely can't beat this price either!
