Kenikee represents a modern replication of the typical 'Adirondack camp' on Lake George of 100 years ago with all of the modern conveniences of this era. Set on the shore of Lake George among pine, hemlock, cedar and birch with a spectacular view of the lake, Rogers' Rock and the Adirondack Mountains behind, this is the perfect site to soak-up the wonderful days and evening sunsets that the region is known for. The renter has the option of renting 4 bedrooms and 2 baths, or 5 bedrooms and 3 baths (this option adds $490. to the total rental fee.) A spacious kitchen with all that one needs, a large dining room 'porch' and activity room with wrap around windows; a 29' X 13' living room with sitting deck to enjoy the views, sights and sounds of the lake. The dock is perfect spot to enjoy the crystal clear lake, swimming along side, the bottom slopes from about 6 in to 3 feet at the end of the dock. Mooring a boat up to 21 ft. A large picnic table, gas grill and fire pit make the shore area perfect for family activities.
Not far are Fort Ticonderoga and Gardens;, panoramic views of the Champlain Valley and Vermont from Mount Defiance; The Ticonderoga Country Club, a beautiful and challenging fee-based golf club with Emeralds Restaurant; Snug Harbor Marina for boat rentals. Cross Lake Champlain on the Ti Ferry and explore Vermont and Middlebury, VT. About 45 minutes to the Maritime Museum with boat cruises, 60 minutes to Shelburne Farms and Inn, and the nearby world renown Shelburne Museum, 70 minutes to Burlington and shopping. The University of Vermont and the Burlington International Airport are here. 90 minutes to Stowe, Vermont. In New York we are about 90 minutes from Keene Valley and Lake Placid.

For hikers the Land Conservancy has nice trails to the top of Cooks Mountain and Rogers Slide nearby. White water rafting with guides is available near Warrensburg on the upper Hudson. All day class III-V rapids, wild and fun.
