About Harry Bannon

Why Harry Bannon chose Reno

My work required myself and my family to move to San Francisco. I loved this home and chose to use it as a vacation rental rather than sell it. My hope is to move back someday. I love the Reno area and all it has to offer.

What makes this house unique

The best part about this home other than its cozy and charming personality is its terrific location. We love to walk, run and bike and there are endless paths and trails close by as well as its access to downtown Reno.

In addition there is a vacation home next door that can sleep up to 12 if you have a large group.

A great house in a convenient neighborhood

  • 5 of 5

Great little house with just enough room to feel comfortable and move around. Convenient area to come and go, near grocery store and not too far from the airport. Made a perfect home base for family to come and go for the long weekend. We were able to eat outside in comfort in the nice backyard. The standup fans in each room were helpful to get the air moving around the house - especially after the sunny, warm days.

Nice property, close to UNR and downtown

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this house so our daughter could participate in a program at UNR. It was a nice, easy drive to campus and anywhere else we wanted to go, with much better amenities than a hotel at a similar price point.

Please note for those coming from areas where central air is common, this house does not have central A/C. However, the evaporative cooler is quite cold indeed, and the bedrooms stayed comfortable even in 100 degree days, so this wasn't an issue, despite being a little surprising when the lease paperwork came with instructions on how to manage the evaporative cooler.

Owner's Response: Donna, Thanks for the kind words. We're happy you mentioned the evaporative cooler. Some people are cautious as to whether it keeps the house cool or not but we've never had a complaint even when it's been over a 100 degrees. It is listed in the description portion of our listing. There is no attempt to hide or keep that from our guests. Thanks and hope to see you again.

Great Family Stay

  • 5 of 5

Came into town with a group of 5 for the USBC bowling tournament, and do not believe I could have done better with this place. The house was more spacious than expected. Everyone had their own personal space to hang out and enjoy the downtime, what little of it we had. The location was great, it felt safe, and yet still just minutes away from everything downtown.

The house was clean and well maintained, the master bedroom made me jealous that my own was not as big and spacious as it was. Everything we needed was provided, dishes, corkscrews, even laundry detergent was there for us. Harry was also very communicative and responded quickly to any questions I had.

I would not hesitate to recommend this home to anyone else, and I would gladly stay here again should my travels take me back to Reno.

Our family of four stayed for 3 nights while our twins played in the Reno Memorial Day Basketball Tournament. The house was clean and comfortable and all the comforts of home.

Perfect Place to Stay

  • 5 of 5

We stayed three nights in Reno mainly to look around the area for a potential place to move. Memory Lane provided a great location to see all of Reno. The home is in a quiet neighborhood with a great fenced backyard for both pets and kids. The house was immaculate, had very comfortable living space and the kitchen had everything you needed for cooking. Our contact Harry was a delight to work with! Highly recommend.
