About Harry Bannon

I grew up in Casper Wyoming and went to college in Fort Lewis, Colorado and graduated in 2000. I presently live in South San Francisco and work as a Dispatcher for Virgin America Airlines. I am an avid snowboarder and have been a youth instructor for several years.

Harry Bannon purchased this house in 2011

Why Harry Bannon chose Reno

My work required myself and my family to move to San Francisco. I loved this home and chose to use it as a vacation rental rather than sell it. My hope is to move back someday. I love the Reno area and all it has to offer.

What makes this house unique

The best part about this home other than its cozy and charming personality is its terrific location. We love to walk, run and bike and there are endless paths and trails close by as well as its access to downtown Reno.

In addition there is a vacation home next door that can sleep up to 12 if you have a large group.

Great house, great neighborhood.

Perfect house to feel right at home in Reno! If the weather cooperates, there's a well maintained backyard with patio as well. Kitchen is appointed with the basics, be ready to improvise if you are accustomed to a cook's kitchen. Fireplace is awesome and creates a really cozy feeling in the front of the house.

Owner's Response: Thanks for the nice review. We strive to make our guests comfortable and help insure they have a pleasant stay. We've never had any issues about the kitchen cooking utensils from our previous guests. Even by cooks who have stayed there have mentioned how adequately the kitchen was set up. Maybe there was some cookware you were unable to locate. We will take your comments and rearrange the kitchen so that everything is easily located.

Comfortable Stay

  • 4 of 5

My husband and I along with two other couples stayed at this property for the 2016 Reno Air Show event. We all enjoyed our stay. The house was cozy, we enjoyed the BBQ and the back yard corn hole game.

The property is very close to the grocery store and other convenient stores. It was quiet at night. We drew straws for the rooms and the couple that got the short straw stayed in the twin beds. (They weren't excited!) :) However, I heard the king sized bed was comfortable!

The property manager was very friendly and helpful!

We all agreed that we would stay there again.

Very comfortable home with a shaded back patio and yard

  • 4 of 5

This home was perfect for our needs. We had three couples in our group. It has a very large master bedroom with a bathroom. Two other nice bedrooms with a full bathroom in the hallway. The large swamp cooler kept the whole place very comfortable. The private, shaded back patio and yard were a nice surprise and we spent the warm afternoons mostly out back sharing food, drinks and yard games. The home is centrally located for outings around town. The owner customer service was very good. Great memories for all and I especially enjoyed our visit to Virginal City. A unique old 1850's western mining town with many of the original city buildings, wooden side walks and amazing desert mountain views. We would definitely go back in the future.

Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

This was by far the best experience/home we have stayed in! The house was comfortable, great location, with all amenities you could ask for! We traveled to Reno to take my daughter back to school...now we are looking at a winter vacation and staying here! We got six people comfortably, no central air but the swamp cooler cooled us to the point of wanting to start a fire in mid-August! The backyard is cozy and dreamy...perfect for morning coffee! We loved it! Will definitely be back!

A great house in a convenient neighborhood

  • 5 of 5

Great little house with just enough room to feel comfortable and move around. Convenient area to come and go, near grocery store and not too far from the airport. Made a perfect home base for family to come and go for the long weekend. We were able to eat outside in comfort in the nice backyard. The standup fans in each room were helpful to get the air moving around the house - especially after the sunny, warm days.
