Brachan Brae is a luxurious 4 bedroom holiday rental cottage. All bedrooms are en-suite. Sleeps 8. The cottage consists of a well equipped kitchen cum dining room with an open fireplace. Opening out from the dining room is a sun room, where guests can relax, chat and enjoy the craic. It is a great "gathering" room. The living room has an open stone fireplace where you can sit and enjoy the smell of turf burning. Baby sitting service can be provided. Also, qualified guides are available upon request.

The cottage nestles in the foohills of Bluestack Mountains on the 'Bluestack Way & Bluestack Drive', County Donegal where you get stunning views over Lough Eske.
The cottage is located in a quiet scenic area, approximately 4.5 miles from Donegal Town. This is a bustling tourist town where you can visit "Magee of Donegal" - famous home of Donegal Tweed, Donegal Castle and Abbey, Donegal Railway Heritage Centre. "Donegal Bay Water Bus" is a "must" for all visitors to Donegal Town. This is trip out on Donegal Bay where you can enjoy the history and stories of the locality, hear a few Donegal "yarns" and enjoy a bit of music. There are beautiful sandy beaches nearby in Murvagh, Rossnowlagh, Fintra, Ardara and Glencolmcille. County Donegal has some great golfing - the nearest links courses are :Donegal Golf Club Murvagh, Narin/Portnoo Golf Club and Bundoran.
Why not experience the wonderful hill walking along the "Bluestack Way" or in the National Heritage Areas. Brachan Brae Cottage is a great location for touring Donegal - Glenveagh National Park, Slieve League (the highest sea cliffs in Europe), Gartan Outdoor Activity Centre, Doagh Island Famine Village, Lough Derg and Ionad Cois Locha.
Sligo is less than an hour away - where you can visit the Yeats Country, Benbulben and Mullaghmore or enjoy a game of golf at Rossespoint or Strandhill.
You can catch a glimpse of the Golden Eagles soaring above the Bluestack Mountains or wander through the old oak woodlands of Ardnamona, a National Parks & Wildlife Service Nature Reserve. Derry City is just over an hour away where you can enjoy a walk on the Walls of this historic City.
Fishing is another great past-time in the locality. You can fish (with a permit) in Lough Eske or why not try some deep sea fishing in Killybegs?
