Your hosts are Jerry and Deborah.
Jerry retired after 30+ years as a professor in the art department of Sacramento State and still continues to work in his home studio daily. We are also avid road cyclists, home wine makers and gardeners/landscapers. As long time fans of all Northern California we are delighted to share information on the best our neighborhood and the surrounding areas have to offer to make your trip memorable.

Perfect for my work and Movies. superclean and hosts are the soul of congeniality
We stayed here in February for several weeks and enjoyed every minute. The studio is very large with stylish and comfortable furnishings, a great kitchenette, ample storage and a super modern large tv with all the latest apps. There are also beautiful sculptures and paintings. The garden with hot tub is full of the owner's sculptures and dotted with fruit trees and a wide assortment of well-tended and varied plants and trees. We ate the just-picked pink grapefruit for breakfast every morning and also used the Meyer lemons for baking and cooking. Just up the road are a bakery/coffee shop, launderette, supermarket and several of Sacramento's top restaurants, including Kru, the much praised Japanese restaurant which has the best happy hour food . There is also a "walkable" supermarket, Rite Aid and post office and several spa/beauty salons so with Uber and walking we only rented a car to drive up to the mountains for a few days.
It is an easy walk to midtown and to Sutter's Fort. Our hosts Deborah and Gerry were very lovely and helpful- they also make their own wine and kindly left us a bottle as a greeting. Deborah helped me with advice for my daughter who is new to Sacramento and also told me of the local restaurants and neighborhoods. We will return soon!
The property was very comfortable, well stocked, and well decorated in a very safe quiet location in Sacramento. An easy walk to coffee shops and restaurants. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We were greeted with fresh flowers and a bottle of their family made wine upon our arrival.
Several visits, and planning more. The loft is ideal, close to downtown, and convenient to all of Sacramento. Very difficult to criticize in any way---so I won't! JCClifford
Deborah and Gerald were friendly and accommodating, greeting us with a bottle of wine. The loft was beautiful with original art, sculptures, and vintage furniture. We loved the tempurpedic bed. We have stayed in several VRBO rentals but none can compare with this. Restaurants, markets, coffee shops, shopping all were in walking distance. Parking was convenient.
A very spacious and well-appointed studio apartment, featuring some fine artwork and enough kitchen ware for self-catering needs. Our host was most welcoming and attentive in responding to our questions. Who could wish for more?
