Photos and Description of this 1 bedroom holiday studio in East Sacramento

beautiful loft in central location

This charming East Sacramento loft is located above an artist’s studio within a spacious, half acre gated compound. The 800 s.f. loft has been recently remodeled and is beautifully furnished with mid-century modern decor. Original art and sculpture create a dramatic, yet comfortable environment. The open floor plan includes a fully appointed kitchenette and two seating areas.

Enjoy the ambiance of this unique property which includes two outdoor dining areas, a hot tub and lovely Japanese gardens. There are 14 citrus trees and large vegetable garden. The owner’s home is located on the site, so you can be assured that there will be someone available to help you plan your visit and to assist should you have any concerns or questions during your stay.

East Sacramento is centrally located and offers an ideal location for your visit to Sacramento. Historic homes and tree canopied streets provide an excellent area for walking. There are great restaurants, shops, galleries, coffee houses and even a winery within walking distance. Nearby McKinley Park is less than a mile away and offers tennis courts, a running track, rose garden, swimming pool and library. The location is convenient to major medical facilities including UC Davis Medical Center, Sutter Hospital and Mercy Hospital—all located within a mile of the property. The Convention Center is also nearby.

This is the perfect location for sightseeing in Sacramento. We recommend you visit the fabulous Crocker Art Museum during your stay. You might also consider the Railroad Museum, the Capitol and historic Old Sacramento. The freeway interchange is just a few blocks away and allows for easy access to the Greater Sacramento area as well as San Francisco, Napa, Lake Tahoe and the Gold Country.

Whether you are in Sacramento to visit family or friends or you’re here on business, you are sure to find this centrally located loft a great place to relax and unwind at the end of your day.

The Urban Loft is a destination in itself!

  • 5 of 5

Wow! We had such a nice stay in the Urban Loft! The pictures on the website do not do the space justice and the grounds are unbelievable! The huge loft had everything we needed for our four night stay. We cooked all of our meals and enjoyed fresh ripe tomatoes from the garden on several occasions. We enjoyed the unique furnishings, and loved the many art pieces in the loft. The park-like grounds are dotted throughout with the most amazing steel sculptures, and relaxing gardens. Our hostess, Deborah greeted us on our arrival with a tour and a bottle of wine and made us feel like company! The loft is on a very quiet, tree lined street that felt totally remote, yet was convenient to all that Sacramento has to offer. I would recommend this place to anyone & can't wait to book it again!

This property is a wonderful place to stay, the hosts are responsive and the facilities are just as outlined in the briefing. The bed is very comfortable. I will be returning for sure.

Enjoyed my stay immensely. The loft was perfect, comfortable and convenient and the whole process great. No small thanks to my hostess, Deborah, who made the experience easy and painless. High praise and very well deserved. Conrad Clifford

Great Property - comfortable and close to downtown.

  • 5 of 5

We spent three nights in this charming loft apartment. It is very clean, comfortable and stylish. The owners are artists and you are surrounded by beautiful works of art both inside and outside that make this home exceedingly unique. We were in Sacramento for meetings at the downtown convention center and were able to easily commute each day. Everything anyone would need - big screen TV, wi-fi, Keurig coffee maker, full size fridge, two seating areas, large bathroom, nearby restaurants (we walked to dinner the first night) all in a quaint lively urban neighborhood with a retro feel. If we return to Sacramento we would definitely book another stay. It is an upstairs loft so make sure you are comfortable going up and down stairs. The owners/hosts are very nice folks too.Highly recommend!

Lovely Stay

  • 5 of 5

My boyfriend and I had an amazing 3 night stay here. Owners were gracious and kind. It was obvious that they put a lot of care and effort to make their guests feel comfortable and welcome. The spacious loft and garden are gorgeous. The pictures posted are nice but they don't do this place justice - it is even better in person! Everything was perfect. Needless to say we were highly satisfied with our decision to stay here. If you're looking for a perfect getaway in Sac, look no more!

A Unique and Special Place

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I spent three nights at the loft during our first visit to Sacramento to check the city out for possible relocation. The interior property is clean and gorgeous with original artwork, attractive furniture and a spacious feel. The grounds are also visually stimulating with sculptures scattered through beautiful gardens. The owners live on the property and made us feel welcome without being intrusive. The location is excellent, in an interesting neighborhood with easy access to a great coop, restaurants, and fun areas to walk. It was a short drive to everything we wanted to see - the midtown neighborhood, downtown, etc. There were fresh flowers and a bottle of delicious wine waiting for us when we arrived. Deborah gave helpful recommendations for restaurants that would suit us and activities, looking up where to rent bikes. In short, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again when we return to Sacramento. There's no other VRBO quite like this one. We loved the warm feeling from the owners and all the art work and hope to come back soon!
